In regards to the new weapon slot system...
From what I understand, the only power weapons that cannot be equipped in the primary or secondary slots will be rocket launchers, linear fusion rifles, swords, and grenade launchers. While I can understand the reasons for rocket launchers and linear fusions, I feel that swords and grenade launchers should be allowed to be equipped in the secondary slot.
I mean, we got the Fighting Lion that can used in the secondary slot already. So it wouldn’t be to hard to create similar archetypes. And then you got the Quickfang sword. It maybe a Hunter exclusive weapon, but it’s an archetype that would be more appropriate for the secondary slot. What with it not being as powerful as other swords. Heck, it would make more sense to make that archetype it’s own weapon type; like how there are fusion rifles and linear fusion rifles.

1 답변I agree with this. Rockets have a reason for being restricted, but swords and GLs are probably the weakest of all Power weapons at this point (aside from Colony). Letting people use them both at once would be pretty interesting, especially in Crucible. Different sword archetypes would be cool, especially if they made new class-exclusive swords. Hunters could get the weaker, but lighter katana-type swords; Titans could get huge, slow and powerful two-handed swords; Warlocks could get ones with ranged abilities.
