Does anyone else think that the Warmind Heroic Strikes are just broken?
I was playing the Lake of Shadows (I am Light 357 and my team is roughly 360-ish, keep in mind the recommended Light level is 350.)
[b]IT TOOK US 45+ MINUTES BECAUSE BLACKOUT WAS JUST RUINING US!![/b]
The Phalanx Shield Blasts just destroyed us, the Taken blast things on the walls are considered melee so it instantly killed us, Grask's melee has an extreme amount of range (and hardly any way to tell) so it just
destroyed us. Thrall's would teleport and instantly killed us.
Yeah, I guess Void Singe is nice (and a little deadly when it needs to be) and the Guardian buff that comes with each Heroic Strike is a little nice. But that doesn't compensate for the INSTANT DEATH from a melee.
Oh yeah, I should mention that [i]Shield Blast goes through walls and terrain. [/i]
I think that the modifier should change more instead of constantly having the same type of modifier over and over again. Blackout shouldn't be a constant, and you shouldn't have to be Light 370 to do a Light 350 mission.

While doing my three strikes for the faction rally yesterday this one came up. I was a little surprised that the shield blast counted as melee and one-shot me but after that I made sure to play at a distance and be mindful of where the wall blasts were. With void singe we melted the boss before the first wave of adds even spawned in. All in all it wasn't a big deal.
