The live stream showed us Escalation Protocol, which is basically like court of oryx from D1 where you fight waves of enemies or objectives with bosses. They said it gave "unique" rewards and vanity items, etc. (Probably garbage shaders or something.) No idea if the implementation is going to be awesome or not, but this is something that should have been in the game on every single planet as an activity with every single enemy faction with it's own unique rewards so we can get some actual content and flavor with Destiny 2 instead of grinding crap public events for 1 token and 1 gunsmith part and 300 glimmer. Because lets be real, it's awful to log into the game and only have one area to go too thats small like COO, doing the same thing over and over. Even if it is fun, the repetition will kill it. Dont make us cooped up in a small zone with only hive. Let us have variety and freedom to ACTUALLY want to use the planetary map.
