TLDR: A movement speed increase is not enough. The continued treatment of "power ammo as a pick up only" is going to make teamshotting remain a prominent factor, ttk must be faster and power ammo made available at spawn to make players overall more effective and create more viable ways to play
We all know the weakness and slowness of just about everything has really watered down any opportunity to master any fundamentals, and leads to the obsessive teamshotting we all see. you know your mechanics are poor when the simplest strategy of " sit back and gang up on whoever crosses our sights" is the most effective one.
despite the much welcomed speed changes being implemented, the choose to ignore ttk. Ttk and movement speed are so co existent that simply changing or the other will do nothing to change the flow of the game, both must be tuned. When People are still not powerful enough to take opponents out and quickly/efficiently/lethaly take someone out, then we will still see the prominence of those teamshots. once again, everyone is still to weak so no fundamentals exist that mix up the play. simple making people faster wont fix this glaring issue
Their response to demands for a faster TTK was just botched, we are still seeing power weapons treated as pickups and something "sacred". Making something so non existent does not make it more satisfying to use bungie, mixing it into the formula in dynamic ways that demand master does. they choose to increase the drops to "decrease ttk" but all this has really done is just create more situations where people will play passively and teamshot to avoid such weapons without a strong primary to counter. They can keep being treated as pickups, they must be treated as parts of your default kit, starting with ammo just like destiny 1. A strong primary and special tool to enhance the way YOU play, that is what makes a special weapon satisfying and fun to play with, not making it us so starved that it takes away from overall gameflow.
I know you guys fear people "maining" special weapons, but this only realty happened when you continued to nerf primaries, making players go to what was more effective. Making both primaries and power weapons/ special weapons powerful in their own rights like the original crucible will make player kits overall more satisfying to use. If primaries are up there in lethality to counter and compete with specials like they once did, then you dont have to fear those power weapons getting out of control
End post
As a bonus, why are rockets still a power weapon along side shottys and the rest? it may only get one rocket now, but it only takes one easy to hit rocket to end a shotguner or snipers day right after the ammo drops. It really seems like you did not take that into account Bungie

7 답변Bungie is gonna have to make ttk faster soon because activision is getting destroyed right now. If bungie really wants to compete with other games in multiplayer they have to lower the ttk. Cod is dead because ww2 sucks. Destiny is dead because bungie. Its probably y MW2 remastered is coming out next month. Activision NEEDS something to get interest in something and mdub will do it because its the greatest cod of all time. Not to mention Fortnite is fuçking destroying everything in its path and thats a FREE GAME lmao.

3 답변God, yes. Titanfall 2 also has this flaw in a way, one hit melee with Battlefield 1 pre-TTK 2.0 time to killon the guns. Guess what happens in that game? Melee is overpowered, on the birtue that it's generally incredibly easy to run through bullets to your gargantuan melee lunge range. Titanfall tangent aside, I don't understand Bungie's logic with any of this mess. Why do we have an elemental primary alongside the kinetic one? It more or less invalidates the kinetic one because the difference in damage is generally negligible. Why are rockets and swords in the same spot as shotties and snipers? In Destiny, it doesn't make sense because the rocket is extremely versitale and easier to get kills with, while a sword more or less invalidates most of the shotguns on the basis of the fact that the sword lunge is barely shorter range-wise than most of the shotguns. Why aren't they decreasing primary time to kill? Not only has the majority of both here and Reddit (from what I've seen) asked for it, but you're making movement faster, decreasing the skill gap because it's easier to get out of a botched encounter, in a game where it's always been easy.

13 답변작성자: Enochua 3/20/2018 3:46:00 PMI don't understand how people asking for D1 loadouts are now complaining about the power weapon ammo buff in D2. Wouldn't the D1 loadouts have caused the same power vacuum. i don't understand why people have a problem with having to fight for power ammo. Yes we need a TTK buff. But also take into consideration that, that is a slippery slope. At what resilience rating do we maintain that kill time should be, (from what ive seen people asking for) 0.8 sec or anything under a sec. What needs to happen is a grenade and melee damage buff to compliment gun ttk. But also you will never eliminate teammates shooting the same people. So you want kill times of a call of duty game? That would break the game. This isn't COD and this isn't Titan fall. (Referring to movement and kill times). The KIND of game that needs to be taken as an example of is Halo. No destiny is not Halo but because it is most like it in design. It is an arcade shooter. Most people that want this fast time to kill are people who didn't play or weren't very good at Halo. But also came from more of a COD and Battlefield back ground. Titan Fall is a futuristic COD type twitch based game and you cant look at either. We have shields, health and armor stats that can fluctuate depending on stats. So at what armor rating should we have this TTK? Cool ill just dump my armor up to Ten and you're stuck killing me at a (OMG) 1.3 sec still. It didn't even work in D1 because you cant just say our kill times are .87 sec and balance that around custom stats. And believe it or not you can kill someone at .87, if they don't have any resilience. Think about that for second. The primary guns that did kill that fast were broken and overpowered. That's why they were nerfed. That's why they had to nerf special weapons and ammo to begin with. Because people had special all the time, it was a nice experiment but year 3 destiny 1 is were we would be at. Except we would still have sidearms and no regeneration ammo on one sniper. OHK weapons only work in an arcade shooter when they are fought for by controlling map positions. The only way to truly balance Destiny is to have separate weapon load outs. Having A tab in the character screen separating pvp from pve. Granted there does need to be a weapon ttk buff but not .87 sec. A solid 1 sec would be fine (no more no less) at an armor rating of 4 or 5.

11 답변I keep seeing people giving examples of D1 0.6 kill times as being what they want or having a 0.8 kill times. What archetype and what gun do you guys think those kills times should apply to? https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1U88nyQq-nWLl3GSrgK-qn0wbrhu-d1fIhWkRk-6xjeE/edit#gid=649373989 Looking at the the most popular guns and or the meta and or the guns that people think should have those kills times. If you will look at Mida, Uriel's, Antiope, Better devil's, Time worn spire(Lincoln green) archetypes. On average the ttk is 1.3 or 1.2. If we do get an over all ttk buff to 0.6 or 0.8 then the other guns will also be buffed in relation to the new ttk. So if we look at shots taken to achieve this, we will see that some archetypes will only take 2 shots, 2 bursts or 3 to 4 shots to kill and some even less. You people would lose your mind if you constantly got 2 shot or 2 bursted. You people really want that. Cool, lets do it. Because I usually don't miss. And I am not even considered good. https://destinytracker.com/d2/profile/xbl/M3G4N0V4GJ4H0V4 The top tier skilled players would eat yalls ass up, even more than they do now. You people need to get some perspective. Now I do think a ttk buff needs to happen but not 0.6 or 0.8. 1 sec ttk should be fine especially when we have resilience and health stats that we can change to adapt to having a fast time to kill.
