Anyone else have problem of the Xbox crashing or freezing every 10-20mins.
Tried 5 different games all crashed within 10 mins (overwatch, GOW4, ESO, Skyrim and MHW.)
So it's not the games rather a Xbox update or my Xbox has just cooked itself.
Anyone else or is it just me?
Edit - got a new one, working fine now. thanks for all the help :)

1 답변What to do if experiencing problems with your Xbox One: 1. Make sure you always actually close any app or game you play. Not just shut down the console or return home. 2. You can refresh the dashboard by holding down both triggers and pressing the Y button once, then releasing. 3. Hard Reset. Hold down the power button until your Xbox One fully shuts down. These are the things I do if I have any issues and they usually get resolved.

1 답변Have you unplugged the power cable from the Xbox? Last time my Xbox was being fidgety I did that and it worked fine afterwords.

1. Call Microsoft support but they’ll probably hang up on you and say they disconnected 2. go take it to game stop but there useless asf 3. Do what I do whenever i break something and trade it into game stop (& get full price for) 4.buy a PlayStation?

1 답변Is your Xbox in a spot where dust can become trapped inside? Do you smoke in your house? If either of these are possible get a can of compressed air and leave your Xbox off for a good half hour and spray the gunk out of there.

I find that some issues can be fixed by just leaving it completely unplugged for a while. I normally unplug the wire from both the xbox and socket. It gives the system time to cool off and kind of resets it, i normally do it when i know i will be off doing something else for a few hours. Resetting to factory default is also an option. Other than that i would say call customer support, the issue should at the very least be reported for future information.

Depending on how you have your Xbox set-up, you might want to try this fix first to see if it helps. It may or may not depending on what the actual problem might be. Go to settings Go to Power & Start-up Go to Power mode & start-up Go to Power Mode & change from instant-on to energy-saving Restart console What this does is it allows the Xbox to dump all the bad data stored in the machine. Microsoft was originally supposed to change this so instant-on does the same thing, not sure if they ever did update it. This technique is what Microsoft support always got me to do when I had issues and fixed them every time. Now I just leave it that way. It might freeze once and a while but after powering down and back up it works fine
