Stupidest way you were screwed over as a kid because of a misunderstanding
1. I'm pretty sure I repeated kindergarten because I was made to say the alphabet several times and I kept saying "is ellemeno a letter" on the one quiz we were ever given, because people kept singing LMNO too fast when teaching me the alphabet... all it would have taken is the teacher to explain "no its L M N O all different letters" Not sure if that's the full reason but I was in advanced classes for the rest of my life after that so don't know how I could have been too much of a dumb shit in kindergarten.
2. I grabbed someone's shirt because he cut in front of me in line in second grade. He had a necklace on (those shell things people used to wear) so I accidentally got a hold of that while he was running. He told the teacher I choked him by his necklace. I was sent to the office and they kept putting words in my mouth and I was so upset I couldn't explain what really happened. They called my parents and got me in huge trouble and everything until I explained myself to my parents.
3. As a toddler I remember I didn't even know the difference between "accident" and "on purpose" so I told my mom I hit my sister on purpose when it was really an accident.
Moral of all of these stories is be more clear to kids. Lol share your stories.
