Have fun. 1 has the best story 2 has the best gameplay Infinite has the best graphics Honestly, Infinite was a let down, but it is still a good game. Just enjoy the madness. My one tip: pick a handful of powers/ weapons and just lean into those. Don't try to be a jack of all trades. Have a few OP powers, and you will know how to deal with every situation. Invest in improving those abilities, and don't get side tracked with others.

I loved the first one, skipped the second and tried the third but didn't finish it...it never really pulled me in. Love the first one, story atmosphere dialogue. The whole art deco design is stunning. I'd spend so much time examining the smallest of details.

For Bioshock 1 and 2: save the little sisters. It's more profiting in the long run. For Bioshock Infinite: Try not to spend all your money in one place. Even it out across weapons and vigors you use a lot. Oh, and once you get the hand Cannon in Finkton, [i][b]keep it[/b][/i]. Do NOT throw it away.

I hope you're good at solving puzzles. Bioshock infinite has this one really hard puzzle at the beginning that's specifically designed to make sure that only the smartest people can enjoy the game.

Explore every single nook and cranny and ration the fck outta your health kits, especially in the second game. Edit - and pay Psyntifik no mind, since Witcher 3 or board games aren't being discussed he [i]may[/i] be a bit confused. First two are wicked amazing, Infinite was a sharp turn but still fun to play. Honestly, Bioshock 2 is pretty much a national treasure. A work of art. Infinite has a lot of.. plot issues. We'll leave it at that for now.

Try to avoid spoilers, and for the most part, I’d try going in completely blind. Bioshock 1 has [i]the[/i] best plot twist [i]ever[/i]! Most people like 1 the best, I personally like 2 (especially Minerva’s Den), and Infinite is largely regarded as the worst. All are worth a playthrough. I like melee builds the best, myself.

It really kinda shocks me that so many people here have said positive things about 2. It’s a very weak game imo, and that has always been the consensus amongst every one I’ve ever heard or read online. Minerva’s Den being the exception to that, which was made by a small team that went on to form the their own studio and ale Gone Home. As for Infinite, it seems to be polarizing to be sure. I think it is BY FAR the best of the three. The story actually made me care, unlike the previous games(2 in particular). The original was spoiled for me, so I never got to experience it in the way I should’ve, but I didn’t find the reveals that shocking, or impactful. I was left with a feeling of, “this is what everyone has been hyping up? Who cares?”. My biggest problem with it is the main character is a blank slate without any real motivation other than being told what to do. Made it feel like what I was doing just didn’t matter, because I didn’t care what happened to him. After the twist, I cared even less. The ending is also pretty bad, which is something I’ve actually seen quite a few people say. It’s a sharp slope downhill after you confront Andrew Ryan. I also think the combat is pretty bad in the first 2 games. Someone on here said they “call of dutyized” Infinite, and to that I say, hey, whatever makes the game playable. Infinite was much easier to deal with gameplay wise, which allowed me to get to the story without frustration, which is the only reason I’m playing these games in the first place.

Electroshock carried me through all 3, it's great. Also, ignore all the comment saying infinite is bad, it's not, just a bit confusing.

Search everywhere, upgrades are -blam!-ing hidden in each game

Stop after you play the first one. It goes downhill from there. Theres no real secret tech to that game, though, just play it and enjoy it.

Go into it blind and make your own way through. Don't worry about guides or opinions or anything like that. That's how you make your first playthrough the most memorable (and exciting!)

$20 for the Bioshock trilogy is a steal, enjoy! It's by far one of my favourite game series.
