Erm free.....no chance. Will it save the franchise......unlikely. Too much damage has been done to gain back the community trust at this point. Stupid, stupid, stupid bunglevision. All you had to do was make a sequel to D1 based on the 3 years experience from D1 and you fecked it up so bad that it could be considered that you have the dev team from No Mans Sky.

If the expansion offers a lot of good and innovative content in generous amounts, including improvements for those that do not own it, Destiny 2 might recover again, maybe even by a lot. If it is another lacklustre expansion like Osiris then it will probably end up being the games death blow :(

September's expansion better come out in spring, and spring better come out January 30th. No reason to play till spring.

Price won’t do much. Sure a smaller price would help but ultimately in saving the game it needs a ton of content and upgrades
