Down to 670,000 for pve across both games and all platforms.
Pre xmas it was 1.4 million.
That's more than a 50% drop in a matter of weeks.

2 답변Destiny 2 has these things called events, updates, and DLC, Which will create spikes in player base over time. Once pvp is improved, that player base will remain steady. The numbers are dropping now due to the news about the faction rally weapons. Only thing that will kill Destiny is another open world RPG FPS. Until someone can copy this formula and make it better, destiny is here to stay. On another note, take a break from D2 and go play the Divison, PUBG, or what ever you like. There are other good games out.

64 답변작성자: Thane 1/18/2018 5:09:09 AMFor those looking for an excellent online coop (raiders). Take a break from FPS’s. Even the solo players who want to hunt alone offline. Monster Hunter World is coming soon. Proper RPG and tough yet rewarding (takes time to master). Epic huge beasts to hunt, proper character creator, interactive environment, great combat system, amazing visuals, excellent enemy AI (different life like beasts), craft insane weapon/armor, no loot boxes, no gambling mechanics, -blam!-ing depth to the game’s systems. And most importantly, DLC is free. Meaning no community separation and you get to fight the newly released monsters without paying a extra penny. Oh yeah and a competent studio behind it with YEARS of experience in the franchise. No sympathy for the XP throttling scum.

9 답변작성자: Bositiv3 (Adept) 1/18/2018 5:49:29 AM246.7K ÷ 3= 82.3k players per platform in Crucible Players Yesterday 678.6K ÷ 3 = 226,200 PvE Players (PP) Yesterday’s total player base , so if you take 678.6k -246.7 only playing pvp the number is accurately lower So pVe player count is 432k total , you said
50 percent drop
it’s actually more then that you forgot to include 8.2 million people who bought and actively played since launch ...mathematically, bungie lost about 98 percent of its player base as of yesterday’s data climbs and lowers its interest rate of players,
This is what happens when you rush a unfinished game
16 답변I'm done with Bungie, I had decided I would give them until after the holidays to address or fix some of this stuff and they haven't done anything but slap us in the face at every turn. I would trust PeeWee Herman behind me in a movie theatre while out on a date with OJ Simpson having drinks from Bill Cosby's bar with ice cubes made from Flint Michigan water after an elevator ride with Ray Rice while Casey Anthony was babysitting my child before I will buy or play another game from Bungie or Activision.

17 답변작성자: gizzamaluke 1/18/2018 9:04:35 PMJust to clear the air a little, DestinyTracker, and literally every other site that tracks Destiny's statistics, is inaccurate. Therefore, they cannot be used to create ANY type of speculation or argument regarding the state of the game. These sites pull their information from Bungie's API. This is the interface that Bungie uses to share its data with other sources, like DT. If there is a stat regarding Destiny, it came from this API, regardless of the source you're viewing it through. Here's the hitch: the Bungie API is wrong. It says so itself, multiple times. It's broken in a few locations and completely turned off for a couple other stats due to the jump from D1 to D2. This means that any number or statistic that came through this (aka: all of them), including player counts, cannot be proven to be accurate and, therefore, are unusable data. Google "Bungie API" and you can read the notes for yourselves. I don't think you can prove that this game is dying or dead. No one can because that data does not exist. TL;DR: you can't base any type of theory/speculation off of the current player count data because it's not accurate from any source. Literally no one except for MAYBE Bungie (and they probably don't, either... let's be honest) actually has accurate data.
