Or a codex or something. Give us some lore written down we can access any time rather scannables you have to keep going back to if you want to revisit that part of the lore.
Apparently people will trend anything with a hashtag so that's what i'm doing too
Edit: To clarify by bringing it back I mean bring it back and make it available in game

24 답변Moving this over to #Feedback That said, thank you for the feedback. Chris Barrett commented on this via Twitter last week - we're looking to add more collectibles and hidden secrets to future expansions. This may not equate to things like hidden ghosts or grimoire specifically, but the feedback outlined in your post is indeed heard, and we're investigating solutions. Cheers, -dmg

2 답변Also make the story line an actual story line not a semi coherent string of events and witty dialog. Literally get the people managed to craft the master work that is the book of sorrows or the people who were behind the thorn and last word lore to write the story for the main campaign. It's a real shame about the squandered potential this franchise lad. I obviously am not a narrative lead or a games designer but it just seems like the live team is left to fix another messy reboot hinderd by poor management and a lack of direction for the game. Whilst Luke Smith and his mate ride off into the sunset and get ready to reboot destiny 3 when that's half way through development

3 답변A simple kiosk that collects all of the lore that you have found so far that would be located in the tower would solve this problem. They could even call it the library and have it located somewhere near ikora, or the speakers room. #BungieImOpenForJobOffers

While I appreciate some grimoire being put into the story (as it were) of Destiny 2, I really miss the grimoire score. Anyone who thought it meant anything other than “I am a subnormal grinder” is sad as hell, but it was fun to grind on different enemies and use all the weapons to build up that stupid score. Playing the division at the moment (while waiting for Destiny to return to its former glory) and they have a similar type score. Patches you wear on your uniform unlock when you have however many grenade kills, or sniper kills, or items given to strangers in need, etc. makes me want to unlock them all. Meanwhile, in Destiny 2 you can unlock an emblem by completing a challenge...unless it’s glitched

작성자: Unforgiven 1/16/2018 6:10:34 PMThe Codex should be a new faction in the tower that collects memories which you can replay as unique story missions. Once the mission is completed it should be added to the library tab in your character. Each mission should add a new character into the tower that you can speak with later to learn their story. These characters should each have their own rewards. These missions should be hard but soloable. Completing these missions should give you good PVE rewards and will allow you be stronger in the raid. The characters can be dead ghosts that you revive or just creatures like Xur. They don't need to have unique models but they should all be voiced by professionals. Not actors. This should also offer a Unique gear for completing but the gear needs to look scholarly. And so do the guns. Also #beingbackgrimoire score. My 5000+ showed how much I loved Destiny. Every week there should be a new unique Codex mission to complete. But missions will have multiple parts. And some of it will be hunting or killing enemies in a specific way. If you complete the missions early in the week and want more rewards you should be allowed to sacrifice half of your glimmer to get a second mission but the rewards will be so good that it would be worth it. No more than two missions for Codex faction can be completed per week so people don't get all of the gear early. The Codex lore faction is going to get an event once every two months where you will be able to earn more rewards.

3 답변As a side-bonus when you met up with strangers and they had a Grimoire Score of 4K and up, 99% of those people really knew what they where doing in the strike/NF/Raid.

34 답변Why bring it back, served zero gameplay purpose, didn’t make you a better player or pvp beast If you want to read something go buy a book
-
작성자: l Xemnas 1/17/2018 6:53:10 AMDon't worry. You can buy a book that contains the entire grimoir off of bungie.net. Just stop by at your nearest D2 retailer.
Note: The grimoir book is only available with purchases of Destiny 2
In stores fall 2018

4 답변A huge part of what made D1 what it was was the grimoir, and finding ghosts and fragments. Without them there is an emptiness and a lack of fortification/background to any kind of story. All that aside it was just awesome to explore and stumble across a dead ghost or fragment, let alone get into a party and go hunting together. That made for an awesome time filler and got a lot of people engaged into spending time exploring these great worlds that were created.

1 답변A long time ago, Star Wars cards came in Wonder bread. I bring it up because that was cool. Checklists are not cool to kids but serve a necessary function all the same. It's housekeeping. A way to judge your position relative to the journey. Beginning, middle, end. Grimoire was Destiny's checklists. It was essential to where you were going, what you had left to do, and where you had been as a guardian. Removing it was just one of the many poor decisions made by Bungie. How many bad decisions you ask? Well, it's difficult to fathom without a checklist.

작성자: Darth Lunchbox 1/16/2018 9:27:54 PMWould like to see all the grimoire stuff moved to actually in game though, even it's just cards you can access like the cards you could go to on the website, but in game. Basically an in game codex. Just realized you have "in game" in your edit, not sure if that was there before I typed this and missed it, or after, either way, I like your idea.
-
Yeah agreed - and the in game lore; ALSO stick it in a grimoire book that you can access via the app. After all, that let's you read the lore end to end when on the bog, but still keeps the lore in game - where it feels a bit disparate and disconnected at the moment.

1 답변Have the Grimoire as individual codex dedicated for certain items. A weapons codex, one for armour and associated gear, develop one for allies and enemies, one for places your character has visited. Score or value to me is not so important as the lore associated with the game. Make them collectables.
-
Absolutely bring it back. I couldn’t care less if it was in game either. I liked being able to look at it if i was out and not able to play. This app used to be so much better. In game, out of game, or both; they should absolutely bring it back.

6 답변Let me just reiterate that there was no logical, sensible reason at all whatsoever to remove grimoire from the game. Everything has been watered down

23 답변작성자: The Last Guardian 1/16/2018 3:26:30 AMIts amazing, how people will bitch just to bitch. I remember reading threads in destiny 1 where people complained about "grimoire scores" and now.... they complain about not having "grimoire scores". Humans truly are a remarkable bunch of morons. We should have never went away from the days of Sparta where they immediately killed off the weak. We now have an over population of morons.

1 답변Ingame Codex, sites unlocked by finding the scannables or certain weapons, ships, emblems, finishing encounters like the raid or strike bosses, etc. It could be so simple...but we all know that those companies lack the passion this franchise needs. I mean, look at the game right now. It even dismisses a lot of the established lore of D1. They simply don‘t care about any lore or story...
