Question, why tf does America care about what foreigners think of it?
Like, literally none of them have the freedoms we do. Every other country on the planet has some sort of limit on thought and expressing ideas. Why should we listen to them in any capacity when they clearly don't have the same values as them?

Because we're a civilized country with things like trade deals, border negotiations, security and intelligence sharing issues to worry about, not 'edgy' and 'rebellious' teenagers who "like, totally don't care what you think, Mom and Dad".

What a load of crap about freedom in foreign countries. Pig ignorance willful or otherwise can be assumed with the OP. Why should America care? Because america effectively is at the top of a hegemony (by being a counter balance against the warsaw pact for much of postwar 20th century) in the west leading organizations in the world like NATO that cement its dominant place in the world. Trump's emotional incontinence and creating bad blood between allies will undermine that and will detrimentally affect the US in years to come as nations like germany, japan feel like america is no longer a reliable ally. The american nuclear umbrella is as much about preventing countries like germany, italy, japan, south korea etc from developing their own weapons to prevent any further nuclear proliferation.

If Saudi Arabia stopped allowing you to take their oil, if China and India stopped making you cheap products, then you would have no economy. Plus, most of the people who you idolise as ‘great’ people weren’t American, all of the founding fathers for example.

You should care because, despite what you might think, foreigners actually contribute a lot to your economy and opinions practically rule this world. Right now your president isn't exactly being the most tactful or displaying the characteristics of a presidential figure. It's pissing a lot of countries/people off, myself included c. Again despite what you may think, many countries have better systems than you. The Scandinavian countries are miles ahead of the US in education and that lot *posted twice by accident whoops*
