작성자: Jerico_7suns 1/13/2018 4:17:34 PMI quit a couple of weeks after launch and have no regrets. For me the game just wasn't fun and didn't build on D1. I made a lot of posts as well as a farewell post that summarized my feelings and took a lot of flack for it (so be it). It's a bit odd seeing how so many others have arrived at the same conclusion literally months later. I think some people are just slower to accept it for what it is; a crash grab, minimal effort product. Most people have moved on and are unlikely to return regardless of what Bungie does. I know for me there was almost nothing they could have done to get me to return. It's not personal at all, if the game was fun I would be playing. If D3 is fun I will play it, unfortunately D2 is not...simple as that.

8 답변작성자: evlwarhed 1/13/2018 3:52:25 PMI'll continue to not play, even though I'm paid til dlc 3. I did a post on the real, and the lip service of the twab; if u care to seek it out. We are basically paying for D1 again; same as losing everything over and over again. D2 with the new pic platform, and tons of new( not D1 vets) players is nothing but a better cash grab opportunity. THIS is why we have this shiat show game, NOT to continue destiny. In all honesty, I'm prolly not even going to get back on til it's over and I can get the whole game; without all the bs around every corner along the way. ( and I'll save money getting it all fir20 bucks, instead of being bled for all they can along the way). ✌️ EDIT: i havnt stopped playing D1, even in its dormant state; it's still more fun then D2. I do all bounties each week on 3 characters, dailies, weekly strikes, NF etc.

2 답변AS of today me. Won't wait another 3 years for BINGO to fix D2 neither going to spend a dime on their failed gambling simulator. All I wanted was to feel like a legend not a casino loser...

14 답변I’m glad they are listening and making improvements. Most updates will happen in the next month or two. Fall isn’t an Year away it’s 8 months. It’s not like they can just flip a switch. Im not going to bash them for trying to improve our experience and doing it as fast as they can. I was disappointed since launch in the direction they where going. But to bash them for switching and listening won’t do anything and is a waste of your time.

I've had the same sentiment since I realised the state of the game, didn't need this TWAB to figure that out and it would be naive to expect big changes soon. I find it funny people act like this was a 'make or break' point. For me, I will wait till the game is worth my time then I'll play it. Nice and simple.

작성자: The57Deluxe 1/13/2018 12:53:55 PMThey are adding some things, but not changing the things that have made D2 fundamentally bad. They also really needed to do something right away that would improve quality of life elements of the game to show the gaming community that they seriously want to fix things. I know it sometimes takes time to get things coded and ready for prime time, but in today’s gaming world it has been shown by other companies that major fixes can be done quicker. They have some very bad leadership issues with this game. They have become a laughing stock in the gaming world. It’s truly sad what has happened to Bungie. I think regardless of what this game looks like in the year that their fix roadmap will take, I will not care to play it much anymore. I’ve gone from being obsessed with playing destiny every day for years to just occasionally checking in. One great thing came out of this, I learned to care more about other great games. I’ve also learned that there are other game developers out there that care way more about everything than Bungie and Activision. That being said, there are some brilliant people at Bungie that worked on some brilliant elements of D2. I feel bad for those people. Their leadership and decision-makers blew this game, not them.

I'm willing to wait. I'm actually not at all disappointed it will take a while because D2 requires an overhaul of the game's direction, developer vision, and developer attitude. All of which require a substantial amount of time to implement. However, I am disappointed that some of the more relevant changes I would like either lacked any sort of detail beyond "we're looking into it" or were not addressed at all. They were far too ambiguous on mods and exotic gear tuning. The restrictive subclass skill system was not addressed at all. I am still optimistic because it seems they are finally, at the very least, looking in the right direction. Something that has not been apparent to me since pre-HoW.
If you are on the wrong road, progress means doing an about-turn and walking back to the right road; and in that case the man who turns back soonest is the most progressive man. -C.S. Lewis
I really do not understand the criticism of backtracking. There doesn't seem to be a way one can turn back in the opposite direction without backtracking. The implementation will take a lot of time and a lot of backtracking is required since the game progressed so far in the wrong direction. I've not played D2 since mid October and I've not played D1 since November 2016. FO4 currently has my attention since I finally have a desktop, I built myself. I just purchased XCOM: Enemy Unknown The Complete Edition for $7. I'm now installing the game. There are plenty of games offering a much more fulfilling RPG experience I can play while I wait. Destiny may very well continue to be that game promising an extensive RPG experience while only delivering a shallow shooter experience. This is fine and I've accepted the possibility. It only means I will have to continue waiting for my gaming fantasy, a FPS MORPG, just as Destiny promised to be in 2013 and 2014.

3 답변Yep, I deleted D2 straight after reading TWAB. I’m not going to wait around for D2 to slowly change as Bungie attempt to make it as good as D1. In fact, given the current direction of the game, I don’t think it ever will reach D1. D2 requires major changes, but the changes proposed are the equivalent of pissing on a bushfire.

작성자: angrybunny 1/13/2018 11:26:26 AMI expected nothing from the update and am thrilled to report Bungie did not let me down. I WANT to love Destiny 2, but Bungie keeps preventing that. Inb4 "but you're an active player!" Yes, angry BDF member, I am. I cashed in ships and sparrows and got Ikora's ship last night after playing for hours on end since launch... Like I said. I WANT to love this game, but the infatuation is wearing off.

What can I say we got another unfinished game. Except this time its worse! Every bit of this game from PvP to pve says man this could be some better if... I'm still playing for a couple of reasons but this game won't be decent till the end of the year. Its sad to think this. I always said man if they waited to release this game say this year maybe it would have been better. Anyways boat continues to sink

2 답변Actually, I think the game is so short, boring and repetitive that I deleted D2 from my system since october or november (I do not remember exactly). I did not have and I do not have the motivation to even play something so pathetic that it "should" be fun and interesting. Enough. My biggest frustration was that I made this purchase in the first place.
