How many people gave up after the TWAB?
Not waiting another year on fixes... From Fanboy to not a fan at all!
I used to be like the rest of you Fanboys in here arguing with guys like me. But eventually you get sore back there....

Nah... I haven’t given up on Destiny 2 yet, truth be told the TWAB was pretty much what I expected, basically a road map of what to expect in the next 9 months. I don’t doubt that eventually Destiny 2 will be good. Having said that, I don’t see a reason to come back until the next expansion and even then I probably won’t be staying around for long. I didn’t see a single thing in the TWAB or Chris Barrett’s blog that got me excited about Destiny 2’s immediate future.

I didn't give up. I'm just catching up on all the games I didn't play while my small clan and I were still doing weekly Raids and such. I'll log in a couple times a week and fart around for Milestones. Building my resource collection so when the next big thing hits, I'll have a leg up on the grind. Maybe give guided games a go. I'd hate to let my Raid experience and knowledge of all the roles lapse my memory. Plus, I want to collect some Raid Tokens for my stash, and I'm not interested in joining another clan.

You need to realise D1 was bad at the start. I'm still going to play the game until it eventually evolves into D1. If you keep playing and when D2 gets better you will praise bungie way more as the worked hard to make it a better experince.

I will probably keep playing it, as long as people still play it. Recently had to leave my old clan as close to no one was playing the game. This one Im in right now is pretty active. And besides, I was foolish enough to buy the season pass so I got another dlc 'to look forward to'. But Im done spending money on a Bungie title. Im done chasing and collecting things like in D1. Im done playing D2 with a passion. My money, passion and most of my time is now spent on Warframe. Id rather support that title with my money and see it evolve.

1 답변No matter what Bungie announced yesterday these forums would be on fire. I completely agree that D2 isn't in a very good place right now but these forums are just packed with toxic people looking for any reason to complain.

It was fun having... * Solar burn strikes. * Huge number of story missions available. * Playing the Archon forge. * Playing with Dark Drinker. * HAVING A SPECIAL WEAPON INSTEAD OF TWO FRICKIN' PRIMARIES!! Yeah, D2 is still a step down. Getting better, but a long way left to go.

5 답변They've got me until DLC 2 and Anthem. If EA can keep their hands out of the cookie jar, Bungie might want to be worried. It wasn't that bad with The Division, since the setting, movement, and combat weren't as similar, but Anthem might be good enough and similar enough to finish D2 off if Bungie isn't careful. I want to stay for the long haul, but I've got to see Bungie actually make (meaningful) changes, first.

Aside from few substantial, concrete changes detailed for Spring/Season Pass Part 2, the idea that Bungie is hoping to stick to D1 schedule and push every critical problem out to Fall 2018 is DOOMING. All this lack of urgency on Bungie's part has sped up my Monster Hunter World #HypuTrain.

I gave up after a week of the Dawning. I completely deleted the game from my PS4. I might download it again when the new DLC comes out to play it since I bought the Season pass bundle. But other than that I'm on to other and better made games. I will still check in to see what they want us to believe that they want to put in the game and see if they actually implement it. It sucks what they did with D1 that Bungie took out in D2. And I've been playing since D1 beta. So disappointed with this game and company now. The Destiny franchise has so much potential but this is not the same company that also did the Halo series. It really is a shallow version of its former self. I also blame Activision as well since they are also involved. Hell I don't even play CoD anymore because it's pretty much the same game every year.

I was done six hours after release of D2. I paid 90 bucks for the digital deluxe, hell never even finished the campaign. I knew it was trash, then all this BS comes out from Bungie, no end game, lies, deceit, milking players for money, and still no resolution. Their resolution is to take a long ass time to bring the game somewhat back to D1 but with static rolls that nobody wants to grind for. Bungie deserves to fail and deserves for their player base to go to another game. I'm not into Monster Hunter, but Monster Hunter sure is looking enticing and guess what. All the loot is in the friggin game not a loot box!

1 답변Read it, saw straight through all the bs, deleted it. I’ll occasionally play D1 but that’s it. They finally broke my Destiny addiction. Thank you Bungie.

1 답변Excuse me for my English! but I have to say why I think these changes are not real, and the game is over. 1. will not put random perks on the weapons. 2. sniper, shotgun and fusion are still heavy, who would choose a sniper taking a missile launcher? 3. Eververse will follow, two attempts to deceive us are not enough. 4. there is no difficulty in this game, in a children's walk, in D1 if we had real difficulty. 5. they still do not allow a customization in the subclasses. 6. the pvp is made to go hand in hand like good kids, if you're not finished, they will not make changes to kill faster. 7. the story seems made for Disney, easy and simple. If at some point they decide to change these things, everything will improve.

Well there's a ton of games for me to play through and many good ones coming out so my play time on destiny will probably go next to zero til the update and dlcs are out. Atm all I've got to do is forge weapons which isn't much.
