Hold up? So much good changes and yet people complain.

Look I saw no hope in D2 at first and I thought it was just gonna be another post for us to be disappointed by, but gosh dang they listened yet people still are complaining.
I thought people didn’t like D2 because it was bad and they wanted things to improve, obviously they are defiantly improving in this blogpost.
And it’s obvious that people are just hating for the hell of it now even though their wishes including mine are coming to life.

I’m not gonna lie I was disappointed and complaining at first also, but this is a big step forward. Good shit Bungie, don’t ruin this positivity. I’m honestly impressed for the first time in a long time.
[b]Edit- They did what we asked. Improved the game and brought things back from D1. Then people complain that it should’ve been in the game in the first place when everyone knows that.
That’s exactly why we complained for improvement in the first place and look they listened to us and now that it’s coming into the game people continue to be hateful. Just leave if you’re done.[/b]

All those „changes“ are nothing new. We literally have all of this in a game from 2014. It also has faster and more actionpacked superhero gameplay, far more fun weapons with insane loadout possibilities, far more subclass options, far more content that offers more than just public events, awesome raids, random rolls, strike specific loot, replayable and choosable missions and strikes, etc. It basically blows this lame and shallow game out of the water any day. If this is Bruce Banner, the other game is the incredible Hulk. You should try it out. It‘s called Destiny.

I salute your optimism. What you're witnessing from many in the community is simply a coping mechanism. They can't be let down (or let down as hard) if they remain constantly pessimistic...even in the light of new information. If the game changes for the better, they will be pleasantly surprised. If not, then they told you so. Don't get me wrong because I stand by their right to be continually pessimistic. Afterall, there is a good reason they behave that way.

2 답변Come on guys..... Can't you see what is happening here? 1. Hyped the crap out the game - Luke Smith "Collectors Game" "So Much Content" etc... 2. Delivered a piss poor version of Destiny 3. Lie to us about XP - Then lie some more!! 4. Tried to lock out people who did not purchase the DLC 5. Eververse - Enough Said 6. Push game altering mistakes into production Over and Over - Lens/Nova Bomb/Nightfall Issue 7. Keep silent to piss us off even more 8. Finally speak to us and make a bunch of promises prefaced with a disclaimer 9. Implement all of the said changes in the NEW PAID expansion pack 10. Pay for THIRD TIME to have the same crap over and over Wake up... Be true to yourself. All of the changes you want to see WILL NOT come to fruition until the next PAID Expansion. Those of you happy about the comments really need to take a step back and evaluate the situation in it's entirety. No real commitments were made yesterday. The entire post was vague and misleading at best. Truth is in details and commitments. Neither were in that statement.

This forum is only used by haters lol it doesn't matter what bungie do, they could literally make the expansions free to all, make amazing changes that everyone has asked for and put in 3 raids just as good as kingsfall was next week. But people here would still hate on them and just say "so this is bungies pathetic attempt at regaining its player base? What a joke!"

For the most part the stuff I saw them bringing back that actually got me happy was stuff that should have been in the game in the first place . Ex. 6v6, making exotics feel exotic, stroke scoring, etc. yea I’m happy they are making the change but let me ask you something if you go out to eat and someone gets your order wrong 15 times before he brings it out right do you applaud him on finally getting it right?

3 답변I don’t know if bungie is purposely half assing their attempt to fix this game but most of the improvements I see are not the main issues that plaque this game. 6v6 is good, improved exotics might be good depending on how much more powerful they become, masterworks is ok but if it’s anything like the weapons masterworks, it’s really ineffectual to the overall enjoyment of this game. I didn’t see anything about the core issues, the idiot proof 2 skilltree option, the uninspired mod system, strike specific gear, reducing cooldowns, static loot, the boring two primary weapon system, sniping, shotguns, heavy machine guns. Where is the fun?

It’s not rediculous, ppl expected 90% of this in the game when it launched. It’s not new, it was all there is destiny 1. Yes they are trying to fix that, but it’ll take almost a year to do. And this isn’t the first destiny game to come out as a shell of what the game should be. How can they not learn at all from the numerous mistakes they’ve made? The fact is a lot of the damage is done and getting the game back to where it should’ve been isn’t enough to make think “wow I need to play this again” It’s really just meh, good changes, will take long to implement and will only get us back to where we were. They should’ve just delayed the game. Don’t put out unfinished product. Ppl can understand that even if they aren’t happy about they’ll easily forget that it was delayed with a polished game.

6 답변All of those features should have already been in the game, plus the timetable for when the updates will be released is horrible. We shouldn't have to wait until the end of the year to get all of these features. All of the updates for January and February should be out by the end of January and the rest of the updates on their blog post should be out by February. Bungie needs to renegotiate their contract with Activision to be a 15 year plan instead of a 10 year plan. Then they need to reallocate resources from the D3 team to the D2 team (at least half of the development team) to push out updates quicker and be able to share ideas with the D3 team what features to implement and how so that when D3 comes out we will actually get a full game.

Bungie just confirmed that they're doing nothing more than reskinning D1 QoL features, that should have been in Destiny 2 from the start, and then reselling it to you all over again. All while doubling-down on the Eververse. What [b]exactly[/b] is there to praise about that?

4 답변First, they didn't "improve the game", they promissed that they'll make some changes. That's it. If you were around on D1, you should know that Bungie may or may not do what they've promissed, as happened many times in the past. Second, yeah. This stuff should be on the game from the very start. What happened was this: Bungie built and sold a "house" caled D1, then they came and demolished half of it, just to present you the "solution" of building it again. Why should we praise them for fixing a problem they themselves created? Not to mention that even if all these fixes are implemented, the game still gives you less freedom than D1 with subclasses, weapon perks and replayability.
