Look I saw no hope in D2 at first and I thought it was just gonna be another post for us to be disappointed by, but gosh dang they listened yet people still are complaining.
I thought people didn’t like D2 because it was bad and they wanted things to improve, obviously they are defiantly improving in this blogpost.
And it’s obvious that people are just hating for the hell of it now even though their wishes including mine are coming to life.

I’m not gonna lie I was disappointed and complaining at first also, but this is a big step forward. Good shit Bungie, don’t ruin this positivity. I’m honestly impressed for the first time in a long time.
[b]Edit- They did what we asked. Improved the game and brought things back from D1. Then people complain that it should’ve been in the game in the first place when everyone knows that.

Yes they have stated things that will improve the quality of the game but it’s still going to take months to sort out and in my opinion it’s too late. Until the next expansion comes out there is nothing to do in the game. The end game is still lacking even if they do add mods to the raid armour and raid ghosts etc to me I’m not going to log back in to the game to do activities I’m bored of doing because there are not enough of them or variety just for some cosmetic shite. Personally I’m done until next expansion which kinda hurts as I stuck with d1 since alpha but if next dlc isn’t a vast improvement then I won’t be wasting any more of my money on this game.

3 답변[b]Don't bother trying to argue with them.[/b] They refuse to accept the fact that even though Destiny 2 was spelled out for them in bright red crayon through trailers, info drops, and even a lackluster beta, they still blindly threw money at Bungie. Aside from the shader thing, the XP scandal, and the Eververse fiasco, pretty much everything they bitch about was presented to them. They also can't understand that the Live Team presiding over the game currently isn't the team that built Destiny 2. They had no part in its development. They were busy keeping Destiny 1 going. They can't accept that in order to fix the screw up from these geniuses, they're gonna need a little time. It's not the Live Team's fault the game is in its current state. You can't argue logically with them. It's not your fault they can't make informed decisions or pay attention to substance. They can't accept the fact that by blindly supporting a game that showed signs of plague even on paper, they are also to blame. Simply put, the forums are full of entitled idiots.

The story was bad and so was the grind, but the loot was worth it. Bungie obviously new this, but causualized D2 to the farthest they could. D2 is worse in the RPG, and loot aspect than vanilla D1, let that sink in... [spoiler]If you don't get it vanilla D1 was not all that great in the loot and RPG compared to other games. So for D2 to be worse is something.[/spoiler]

1 답변All I cared about was returning to Primary/Special/Heavy. Everything else is inconsequential to me. They failed me, I might check the game this fall but I’m done wasting my time on it for now.

The game should have developed further more over time, instead we're just getting things which we already had. As I said, it has nothing to do with hate or arrogance, it just proofs that Bungie took the completely wrong path with D2 and is trying to sort things out now, sadly we don't really get anything that's worth staying as of right now.

One thing I wish they mentioned was the seperation of sandboxes and, weapon system. Although I like this older content at least pvp wise. I would like to get nee content more than recycled content.

There still a few annoying issues which Bungie did not address but on balance the update was useful and pointed the way to an improved way forward. We just need to wait and see how they work out in practice. All those that wanted their individual issues fixed are really been unrealistic. Eververse will never go away, as Bungie said they will continue to tune it. Also it would be interesting to see how many of the enraged have actually managed a complex multi million project with commercial drivers. It they had they would be willing to cut Bungie a bit more slack And just for those that reply I do not know what I am talking about, yes I was the GM on many multi million complex projects over many years also I have no connection to Bungie or its parents.
