But it does effect your game play. Are you familiar with opportunity cost?
Opportunity cost states that the true cost of anything is loss of potential gain if a different choice was made.
What this means for you is that because Bungie keeps focusing on MTX you are losing out on anything meaningful they could have done instead. The Dawning could have been based around finding lost toys for children in the fallen tower, city and other places. It could have been a nice world building moment that showed a bit of how civilians saw the guardians, but we got RNG loot boxes instead. This lost opportunity is a cost everyone including you pays.
I do not claim to speak for the silent majority, but neither do you. Statistically speaking however ratio of people for and against Eververse on the forums is the best estimate we have of the people who are for or against Eververse. While the ratio is not completely accurate since the only people considered are those who interact with the forum and we do not know how that effects the data, the ratio so heavily leans against Eververse we can infer that the majority of all players do indeed want Eververse to go. We do not know the size of that majority, but it is still a majority.

Right- so dumbing down the classes, obliterating the skill trees, ruining the snappiness of gunplay, offering limited playable content, is all because they chose to put in a tiny bit of effort into reskinning armor and ships? See- this is why it's impossible to take you anti-Eververse crusaders seriously. Your argument is inherently nonsensical. Eververse isn't the problem. It's just a reskin vendor that affects nothing. Opportunity cost doesn't even begin to explain the issue.

You put words in my mouth and then say you can't believe what I am saying. Maybe actually read what I wrote. Everyone knows that different departments do different things, but did you actually look at what went into the THREE Eververse stocks Tess got in THREE months? The Eververse is the only finished system in the game. Far more than a tiny bit of effort went into creating the items in the shop. The ghosts have new perks which requires modification of game code. There are new models for ships, shells, and guns which means a design team. The items have lore tabs which means a writing team. Then there is the quest harness all the stuff sits in, which again requires a code team. The mocap team is busy making new emotes. What else could you do with coders, designers, writers, and a mocap team? How many of the problems you listed could be solved by those 4 teams? I never said Eververse is the only problem with the game, but it is the reason the game will never get better. It is sapping too many resources. Either way no matter why I or anyone else dislikes Eververse the majority dislikes Eververse for a variety of reasons. As long as we are in the majority it does not really matter if you take us seriously or not. We will never convince everyone.
