I was just thinking about random stuff and wondered if exp feel physical pain. It makes sense that they feel emotional pain but do they feel physical? 😞

1 답변작성자: Sturm with no Drang 1/8/2018 12:17:36 AMWell, I wouldn’t be surprised if Exo bodies were sophisticated enough to simulate pain and reactions to it. Think to something like Xenoblade Chronicles X. [Huge -blam!-ing spoiler alert] The mims are basically designed to be as close to humans as possible. Having a human consciousness plugged in, capable of remembering and experiencing emotions and simulations, a mim can eat and taste food, experience emotions like sadness and fall into depression, cry and, given from what is shown in the story, experience pain after having a fully mechanical limb being severed off by a blast from an energy weapon. Of course, there is a means for mims to have the pain sensors in their body disabled. Wouldn’t be surprised if the same could apply to Cayde. Then again, Guardians have essentially become adapted to living a constant state of fighting, dying, and being brought back to life. I can’t remember which piece of lore it was, but a female guardian reminisced of how she died when raiders attacked her. She vividly remembers the entire experience and after being revved by her ghost, just laughs as she proceeds to deal with those same raiders in kind. Maybe Guardians, including exos, can become so used to the pain that they learn to block it to some degree, as may be the case with Cayde.

I wouldn't expect that they feel pain as per a normal human, I wouldn't expect any guardian does. If guardians felt pain as per normal human beings it would be a distraction in battle, however not feeling pain or some thing equivalent causes problems in its self. if you are not aware of taking damage then you cant deal with it. Emotional pain is just a distraction, being able to kill without emotion is a requirement for a guardian like mine that's kill 95,000 plus enemies with out a care in D2 and 700,000 plus in D2. If I cared Id have had a break down by now. Pain indicators, programmed emotion, no empathy.

2 답변Of course they feel pain. Pain is the world's greatest survival mechanism. Fun fact: there is actually a disorder where some people are unable to feel pain. Almost all die before 30 due to infection and injury. They also have to wear a diaper because they can't tell when they need to move their bowels.

12 답변If they have a health meter, one would think they can feel pain. If they can moan, groan, scream...that suggest they can feel something. Exos are more like cyborgs. Just think of Cyborg from Teen Titans and you'll have your answer.

2 답변
People think robots can't feel pain, but we actually feel it in slow motion, with great intensity!
1 답변No but a lot of exos has made some valid points and they agreed that EverVerse must be removed from the game.

4 답변My question is that can ex is even feel love. I mean they're human consciousness inside a robot so I would say yes but can they even do things with their organic lovers....? Or even themselves.

1 답변Yes they do, remember in the campaign final mission when Cayde was messing with the teleporter it shocked and he screamed like it hurt.

3 답변작성자: ArillatheMun 1/6/2018 2:01:57 AMAbout as much pain as my keyboard felt after finally finishing DarkSouls 1 blind, keyboard/mouse. Broke a few keys during the my playthroughs more frustrating areas... Finished with a celebratory keyboard smashing. Seems about as "robotic" I guess. Do keyboards feel pain?
