So after playing any Star Wars Video game and watching all the series and stuff. It's come to my attention that the Sith want Order and command of their empire to keep it from falling apart. But it seems the Rebels want there to be no rule and they just want to do whatever you want. So to me it seems like the Jedi are more ruthless and don't want any Government or anything to have Order in the Galaxy. So what's everyone else's thoughts?

2 답변In regards to legends I think the grey Jedi are the only ones that are “good” because all they want is piece, by any means necessary. The sith I feel are the closest thing to a dictatorship in the Star Wars universe and we all know how dictatorships end up. The Jedi however, as you said, want complete freedom with no government which will also end up badly. I feel that the grey Jedi have the best course of action in regards to piece and freedom although it is far from perfect.

The Sith are indeed evil. The Sith attempt to impose their will through intimidation, fear, violence, genocide, slavery, and the like. No question, the Sith are evil. It is not that the Rebels/Jedi want no rules. That would be anarchy, and the official name of the Rebellion is “The Alliance to Restore the Republic.” Clearly they do not advocate for anarchy, or no rules. They want Rule of Law, Rule by representation, a voice. While this can give birth to chaos at times, it ensures that matters are discussed and concerns are addressed before a decision is made, at least ideally.

1 답변Star Wars has always been Marxist propaganda, that's why the cast is entirely Jewish.

작성자: CheshireGrin92 1/6/2018 4:23:15 AMIf we’re talking legends then there’s debate. It all depends on what side you look at it from. Both sides have their owns goals and the Jedi are far from saints in the clone wars the sixth do some shady shit to though.

1 답변I can’t speak for all sith, but Darth Maul personally comes into my home every morning and gives me the will to live.

2 답변Both sides have their own agendas , you could see how corrupt the jedi started to become during clone wars.

The empire is run by the sixth. I see the sixth as always evil but some can be conflicted (Kylo Ren and Darth Vader). But the empire merely does what they say out of fear or because they just follow orders. But I think the empire could be good. I think controlling the galaxy would be fine had it not been run by the sith.

14 답변Ah I've been waiting for someone to ask something like this...yes the Sith are always portrayed as the bad guys and there hasn't been any record of a "good" Sith, at least one that I have heard of. But I believe that there is potential for a Sith to be good. The Sith rely heavily on the dark side of the force, but what is the dark side? The Jedi say it's fear, anger, hate, and suffering, but according to the Sith the dark side is their emotions. "Peace is a lie, there is only passion". They use fear, hate, and anger to turn into strength through the force but those are only to emotions. What about the other passions. What about the emotions of love, joy, the urge to win and the enjoyment of the battle. I fell that a Sith could use these emotions to help them as well. The Jedi are closed minded, the dark side of the force is only the parts that they are afraid of...there is no dark or light...there is the Force.

6 답변Sith? Yes. The Dark Side? No. Honestly both sides are pretty damn grey when it comes down to it

1 답변Sith, evil as eff. But not simply because their preference is dark side. But at the same time I gotta say that brainwashing little kids isn't something I'd normally associate with the good guys.

1 답변I don’t see the Jedi advocating for anarchy, rather for individual liberty but with a government meant to protect that liberty.

1 답변작성자: LibertarianCajun 1/5/2018 7:03:27 AMWhen your group has enslaved entire species, blown up planets, built super weapons, got their power from something called “the dark side”, and constantly conspire to rule the galaxy, I think it’s fair to say they’re evil.

5 답변Totally evil, the origin of the sith empire started with the destruction of a planet, and not blowing it up but literally leeching the life force out of every living thing on the planet, plants, animals, people, you name it.
