For the BDF members that won't leave here to read things...
You CANNOT get everything from the dawning event by "just playing", because there's two (2) distinctly separate loot pools.
Pool #1: "free" dawning engrams contain a limited item pool that does not include...
Pool #2: because pool #2 has most of the hot ticket crap people are after.
That is what's called a "pay wall". Wherein some greedy, cash grabbing cock gobblers stick the choicest of items behind some form of monetization.
tl;dr
Just because you can't be bothered to go verify pretty much everything this community is up in arms about doesn't mean it isn't happening or even that it doesn't affect you.

However, you're an idiot, most of the remove Eververse crowd are idiots, and most of the claims are bullshit and made up to suit the crusade. You would be far better saying its difficult to get the stuff without buying it. You can get any of it via bright engrams or deleting stuff to obtain dust but it sure aint easy. Some do it but its all RNG. Making it a timed event makes it more difficult if you cant wait or cant control yourself with your need to get it. I expect like D1 you will find once the dawning finishes the stuff will enter the loot pool, emotes from nightfall, ships and sparrows from strike drops, people will be complaining about it before you know it.

I think we all will get more accomplished with this attitude but thats my opinion. Defending Bungie at this point is is just moronic and to be honest doesn’t help, they have utterly Fup there game(past the point of no return,time will tell) and they know it. There dwindling player base tells them everything, they need to change direction fast. People will say they’ll come back for DLC or whatever but in that statement says it all, They shouldn’t have left in the first place. They left because Bungie failed in creating content appealing enough to stay. Eververse has a lot to do with it, everything in Eververse should have been ingame rewards period. Still sell it,limited time items,seasonal items everything but put it with a drop rate so it’s not solely behind a pay wall. People will buy there missing items before the season ends so there will still be a revenue but Eververse won’t be so intrusive. To the Remove Eververse crowd good job, Bungie isn’t going to Remove Eververse but you are pushing them into a corner, so they will make it better for everyone.

Not true guardian. All dawning armor has been sold for dust which is obtainable without spending money on silver. Each week they have posted up different parts... so at this point you could have an entire set without having spent a dime on eververse. I skipped some of it because of the stats or because it just looked bad.
