As newbie in destiny I have to say...
...am I missing something? I've played a lot of games in my 47 years of life and I love this game. All the hate just confuses me quite a bit. I played d1 maybe 100+ hours but could never really get the game mechanics. People always asked to sprint and I had no clue how to. In comes d2...gunplay is tight. I can slide and sprint perfectly. I dominate solo heroic public events like nothing. I did the vanilla d2 campaign over 45 times. I've clocked over 1100 hours since October 11th and I can't wait to log on everyday. Miles tones are a breeze, leveling is easy ( except that dead zone between 265 and 280 ughh...but I enjoy this game. Maybe I missing something but this game seems great. Just my opinion of course.

It's not how the game plays. It's one of the best shooters around mechanics wise. Naturally with such extreme changes between Destiny and 2, the community split between the old gunplay and pvp, and the new. Right now people are upset about a game being a shell of its former self. (A game that was already a shell of just about any other AAA shooter) The rewards system changed in favor of microtransactions. The RNG loot is unforgivingly repetitive without compensating by offering a chance to get a different perk on said loot. The DLC was overpriced and underdelivered with overly grindy requirements for its endgame. A lazy Raid with an even more lazy new Raid Lair that seems like it could have been part of the original Raid and still not made a Destiny style Raid worth a damn. The list goes on. What I tell people is, if you love it, hate it, play it, or boycott it, you're doing what you want to do and that's what matters most.

2 답변D2 is a weaker watered down version of Destiny on every level. D2 is not as good as D1 in any aspect. The replay ability of D2 is nowhere close to that of D1. Overall D2 was nothing but a cash grab. Bungie’s reputation is ruined. Worst sequel to any game ever made. 3 Studios: Bungie, High Moon, Vicarious Visions all share the blame for putting out this joke of a game. Anthem for the win.

4 답변Um, the campaign isn't replayable to any extent that would allow you to re-do it over 40 times...Ikora only has the same ones really and even then, that is 3 a week.

They dumbed it down so much now that every single weapon and piece of armor is exactly like the rest. The enemies are the same, the maps are basically the same. They also left out half the content from D1, again, for whatever stupid assed reason. I played D1 to death, got bored within about 6 months of D2's launch. I was bored with D2 after 2 months and now I'm playing Warframe. Bungie really F'd this game up bad. Hell, I haven't even touched on the times they've lied to our faces since the launch, and then we have EV. Makes my head hurt to think about the state of this game. Oh, and couldn't sprint in D1. It's exactly the same mechanic and button between the 2 games. Is this a joke or something?

Once your enjoying it that's all that matters. But most of the hate towards it comes from Destiny players because so much has changed and gotten removed. Tbh I can't stand the game it's a regression in every way from the original which I loved and played the fk out of. But again if you enjoy it that's all that matters.

And if I really think about some of the things that are just flat out wrong with the game, I do get angry. But I don’t rage at it or make hate posts about Eververse. Bungie/Activision are a business and money is first on their agenda. However, if people don’t like what you’re selling then you should listen and maybe make some changes. After all without your customers you won’t be in business. I know we’re all probably just a drop in the bucket to Activision though. I also wanted to know how you were able to replay the story missions so many times? Ikoras meditations are the only way I can see to do that. Unless you’ve deleted a character multiple times? Also 1100 hours since October? Wow. You really do like this game. 😁. This is not meant as sarcasm or to be mean, they are honest questions. Thank you.

If you added all hours, you'd find that: He has played over 600 hours of destiny 2. If you check into his Destiny 1 stats, he has over 72 hours played in Destiny 1. Notice something in your comment.You even pointed it out. Its EASY. WAAAAAY too easy. The core game is made in a fine way for a casual player to enjoy the game and thats fine.... but the problem is the end game. Its not existent and holds no challenge. Its supposed to be a MMO like game and its a complete mess. You are limited to Trials which has a bad PvP system in place that is stale and is only for teamshotting. Then you have the raid which is fine... for a beginner raider. The normal mode difficulties are fine, the provide a decent challenge and is a good learning experiece for raiding. However, the Prestige mode is lazy, lackluster, and an insult to those that it is trying to get to play it. Coming from a current history of raiding in savage content from FFXIV there is very little learning in raids. The boss is just a glorified turret where you need to do a puzzle and do a decent level of DPS to kill a boss before enrage. Bosses are meant to be active with TONS of mechanics where everyone needs to concentrate and learn. Destiny has always had bosses in raids have only 3 mechanics in total but for one. Oryx had about 4 or 5 mechanics. Problem is I turn around and compare to other MMOs... on prestige like difficulty they have about 10 mechanics you need to be ready for with ACTIVE bosses trying to kill players, moving around and doing things. The depth of the game as well is severely gimped compared to D1, that may seem fine but it brings a major issue with replay ability, it gets boring fast without depth or customization. The enemies are incredibly stale, no unique interactions or gameplay changes besides the taken. D1 is now a much better game over the years because they fixed the grind issue but still had options in game for those willing to mid-max and customize. D2 has none of that besides a lackluster Masterworks system that gives a negligible bonus.
