Why would they call in their employees from their planned vacations with their families during the Christmas and new year season to placate the whining toddlers of this forum? You are an unbelievably entitled little shit.

Now, I know I don’t work in the video game industry, but over here in the real world, we are lucky to get a day off on the holiday itself. I’ll tell you what kinda company does, Bungle, who, unbelievably, have made bank off their terrible game. You can thank all the moron sheep and desticles that keep funding this trash for paying for their extended holidays while joe shmucketelli has to keep working his ass off, thankful he’s getting time and a half for working Christmas and New Year’s Day. Uhhh, judging by your complete lack of reading comprehension I’m probably just wasting my breath on another Bungie loving -blam!-tard, but hey, since I’m so nice I’ll help you get your own foot out of your mouth. Then maybe you can return the favor... What jobs do you know of that get two weeks off for winter holidays? Which was the first point you missed. I can think of teachers, and that’s about it because most other real businesses would tank without staff keeping things going. Sure you might have a day or two off if your lucky and don’t own your own business, and maybe even get to take a week paid, depending on what company you work for and what not. There are a lot of factors that could come into play, but they are all geared specifically to individuals, not entire companies. Again. I’m repeating myself since you seemed to have missed the difference in the first go around. If you believe retail is the only industry that operates on holidays you really aught to experience more in the real world. Can I live in that fantasy land too? Drugs must be good. How much does your mom sell that crippy for? Maybe I can come work with you slinging it for your mom, sounds like she gives good vacation packages.

I have a few friends who work at Boeing as engineers (company that makes airplanes of you're not familiar). They had all of last week off and they go back to work on Tuesday. Big Fish, large company that makes many mobile games, off all of last week and go back to work on Tuesday. This is the same amount of time that Bungie has been on vacation. All of those jobs are very much real jobs that impact large companies with serious amounts of capital. Nice "explanation", but maybe you should have a clue what you're talking about next time.
