Just Play The Game and You Get Dawning Items, No Need to Buy Engrams
edit 4: i'm gonna clarify the point of my thread since people seem to only be focusing on the part about the daily gifts, including myself. That is one way to get dawning items, but not the only. You can pop dawning boons during activities, you can use bright dust to buy the item you want, and there are the free engrams we get weekly. All that can be done by just playing the game, and you dont have to buy engrams, which was the whole point of this thread. I'm still keep posting what i get from daily gifts cause i'm a man of my word. If at the end of the event, i'm wrong about the items you get from them, i will gladly say so.
anyway, here's the list of rewards i get from gifts since the start of the thread:
12/24 - 'joyfire' & 'carmina commencing' ships; warlock festive winter bond
12/25 - 'shimmering iris' & 'magikon' sparrows; 'regent redeemer' ship
12/26 - hunter winter cloak; 2 ice ball transmat effects; 'regent redeemer' ship; 'magikon' sparrow
12/27 - 'shimmering iris' & 'rupture' sparrows; ice ball ball transmat effect; zephyr sword
12/28 - 'jasper dawn' ghost; zephyr sword; 'magikon' sparrow
12/29 - warlock festive winter bond; 'joyfire' & 'regent redeemer' ships
12/30 - 'shimmering iris', 'magikon' & 'rupture' sparrows; ice ball transmat effect
12/31 - 'joyfire' ship; 'sweet memories' ghost; 'magikon' sparrow
1/1 - 'regent redeemer' & 'joyfire' ships; 'dawning bauble' ghost
1/2 - hunter 'warm winter cloak'; 'carmina commencing' ship; masterwork zephyr sword
1/3 - 'subito mk.9' sparrow; 'sweet memories' ghost; 'joyfire' ship
1/4 - 'jasper dawn' ghost; 'subito mk.9' & 'shimmering iris' sparrows
1/5 - warlock festive winter bond; 'sweet memories' ghost; 'joyfire' ship
1/6 - 'joyfire' & 'carmina commencing' ships; 'magikon' sparrow; 10 power exotic engram which turned into a riskrunner; 10 power legendary engram which turned into an icarus drifter vest
1/7 - 2 'regent redeemer' ships; 'rupture' sparrow
1/8 - warlock festive winter bond; 'joyfire' ship; 'sweet memories' ghost
edit 5: that's it, the last day of gifts. Even though i got a lot of items from the gifts and i never specified which items you would get, since i didnt get any of the exotics nor other armor, i'll admit i was wrong about that. It seems you couldnt get those from gifts. So again, i admit i was wrong.
With that said, you still didnt have to buy engrams to get those or any of the items you wanted which was the purpose of the thread. For me personally, I was able to get the exotic ghost, exotic emote, the exotic ship, a helm for each of my characters, the sword, and the countless ships/sparrows/ effects i wanted, while also getting shit i didnt want by just playing the game. Hopefully my fellow guardians were able to get the items you wanted from the dawning.

2 답변No sir, YOU ARE WRONG! Do some freaking research. My god. You can't get a single piece of the armor set. The only thing you can get is the secondary class item and the sword. And a bunch of stupid sparrows.

It’s just crazy to me people are in a uproar over gear that doesn’t make you better at the game. And to what end if you don’t grind bright endgrams for this stuff you’ll just have to grind other packages for it.

8 답변The engrams are different but there is a way without spending big at eververse. Ghosts, ships, shaders and sparrows when dismantled award bright dust If people had put in the hours to get those and ground for bright engrams they would have ample to dismantle gain dust and get the armor/ exotics that way.

4 답변If you do the daily gifts and thereafter if you just let each character drop by the pile of presents next to Ikora, you get a sparrow, ship or ghost per character per day. If you shard these that gives you approx 300 bright dust per day. You can also shard the shaders for a little bit more bright dust. That's a lot of bright dust that Bungie is giving away for free. I've decided to "buy" the dawning armour sets from Eververse on at least 2 characters otherwise I'll be left with tons of bright dust once the dawning ends.

Maybe if you would inspect the gift in return you would see that it is VERY DIFFERENT from the inspect of the DAWNING ENGRAM. Dawning engrams have exotic emotes, sparrows, ships, and the entire armor set. The gift in return has none of that.

6 답변Bs, I have played everyday of the dawning. One piece of armor, three marks, two swords and trash with duplicates. Truly I would have to get my wallet out to get everything for my characters. 1 답변All I've gotten the past three days are Joyfire ship Magikon sparrow Sweet memories ghost I already had all three from earlier but I gotten triple duplicates I cam barely be bothered to log in to claim a reward anymore. Even the 5 minutes it takes to collect all three gifts feels like a waste of time

[b]Dawning Engram[/b]: This engram contains one [b]Dawning[/b] vanity reward and a small stack of shaders or transmat effect. [b]A Gift in Return Package[/b]: This present contains one [b]Winter's Delight[/b] item plus one [b]Holiday Spirit[/b] item, one Legendary item, or one Exotic item.

From the daily gifts have you got 1. any exotic sparrows? 2. any exotic ships? 3. any helmets? 4. any guantlets? 5. any chest armor? 6. any leg armor? That are otherwise for sale from eververse. What you have got is legendary class item, legendary sparrow, legendary ship, legendary sword. I do agree that you do not "have to buy" anything. That is still your choice. Have fun and may RNG be forever in your favor.

15 답변You can't get the dawning engram. The engram you get from the gift thing is something completely different. Generic ships and sparrows with paint on them.
