Either fix the game or give a refund to the players.
At the moment yes microsoft and sony are giving refunds of the base game. however blizzard won't be able to unless the purchase was within a few days.
I am not here to rant like everyone else what the hell is wrong with the game because we all know it.
I am just heavily disappointed and either would like a refund of the game or a fix for the vanilla players that we won't be locked out of previous content with a paywall.

They will if you push them to, all it should take is the xp throttling scandal to do it. If they don't, tell them you're contacting the better business bureau as soon as you hang up. That should be enough but if not, actually contact the BBB and file a complaint against Activision, Bungie isn't registered with them. Guaranteed you get what you want.
