Bungie can drop as many DLC’s as they want but it wont fix that fact that Destiny 2 should have extended on the success that was Destiny “Age of Triumph.”
Destiny 2 shouldnt have been a new starting point for the Destiny franchise. It should have brought forward the key aspects that made Destiny 2 a destiny game
Loot, Heroic modifiers, loot, random roles, powerful exotics, loot, end game actually mattering, loot again
Destiny 2 just doesnt have the spark Destiny 1 had which is why I just find it disappointing. DLCs shouldnt be what is fixing Destiny. Its like we’re paying for a hotfix. Who even complained about the heroic strike playlist? Honestly.
Destiny 2, comparing to the end of Destiny 1’s lifespan, is a damn joke. Seeing how Bungie wont fix, add, or remove things the community is asking of them (such as removing the token system, or adding an actual endgame) this game is beyond saving
Destiny 1 had the excuse of “oh, the game will get better overtime thanks to DLCs” but the same case cant be made for D2. D2 should have been great from the very start.

I agree. I love games that have RPG customization. I got that fix a little bit with D1 and hunting for multiple gear loadouts for different situations, and of course a variety of perks on guns, but I don't get that at all with D2. However, a game can't just have customization. I have to want to use that customization on content. Strikes were fun for that in D1. So we're PvE activities like Archons Forge, and the Raids. I have absolutely no desire to test anything on Calus or Public Events. I don't know why, but this whole game feels incredibly boring and uninspiring. Everything is just a primary reload simulator that's all played the same way.

Pretty much. I made a post literally called 'How'd we go from AoT to this?' Bungie knows what the hell they are doing, there is no way they sent off D1 so well with Raids, and then moved forward to a game that dosen't even give you legendary emblems for doing challenges. They acted like they temporarily cut all the diverse game modes and playlists to keep things concentrated and easy to digest- but they are just holding off on old content so they don't have to make as much new stuff or improvements. The worse part is all they really have to do to quickly fix this is make trials and prestige raid shit drop beyond the current/'standard' light cap. But really they need to overhaul the rewards to actually be better than other gear. No one woulda cared to runs nightfalls or raids for G-Horn if it was the exact same thing as a launcher that Banshee could give you.

In saw iron banner was today, if this was D1 I’d be grinding my little socks off but in D2 I put the game on, force myself to do an activity then after 5 to 10 min I can’t do it anymore

Sadly true. Here's the thing. D1 was also pretty much beyond saving until the live team (the real talent behind how D1 ended in Year 3) took over. Bungie literally put the guys and gals who didn't tow the party line into the live updates team. Commissioned to simply keep the game going until D2. What you saw as a result was a team allowed to actually implement the game as they thought it should have been. Events, Racing, QOL changes and DLC (WOTM) that was short but, full of fun mechanics. In the meantime the heavy hitters, the people who did tow the line and follow LS into the dark, were allowed to create D2. LS ignored anything happening in D1 as just being the work of the B team and not worthy. Now, at this late stage, management have woken up and realised the frightening truth. The so called B team were in fact the A team. Their ideas and changes were the only reason D1 didn't die. Having D2 contain nothing of their work was the mistake and I'd bet good money that if management could grab a time machine D2 would have been a masterpiece lead entirely by the live team. It would have started with Sparrow racing, custom games, in game grimour, events right off the bat, kick ass exotics, a completely screwed up crucible and every planet from D1. No the crucible entry isn't a mistake.

4 답변I disagree. For me this game would be much better if they did just a few changes. 1. Bring random weapons rolls back. This way tokens are worth grinding...and any activity with specific loot. 2. Activity specific loot. Add it to strikes and Heroic public events at the very least. 3. Remove tokens from Raid and have the loot drop like ikn D1 year 3. 4. Flashpoint Special NPCs drop unique weapons. Done. I don't really play PvP.

I think they can fix it if they TRY to fix it. They got rid of the etheric light from HoW. They changed the infusing in D1 so a lvl 200 (or whatever) made the lower item 200, instead of the average. I'm just surprised at the time it took in the 1st to do things like custom games, which people enjoyed, and not carrying it to D2.

7 답변Yep, you're right. This game is not the game I wanted. I pre-ordered (never again) so I'll play what I bought (at least once through), but I'm moving on. Played some IB this morning. Freaking BORING!! Scout rifles galore... Plink! Plink! Plink! You HAVE to stay with your team if you want to do well, so 2 teams of 4 all bunched up at either end of lanes plinking each other with Scout rifles... Plink! Plink! Plink! It's just time to realize that Bungie made a radically different game than I was playing in D1, and it's not good. Talk about a bait and switch!

There is just no innovation present in this title. I don't understand how doing a three week stream and trying to hype things we have already done countless times is going to get players newly invigorated in this game. This is the time Bungie should be dusting off concepts. Whatever ideas they have, new subclasses, new enemy races, ship battles, whatever, these things need to be put in the game now. Not more of the same.

To all you white knights out there dont hate the criticism and outcry. how else are we supposed to voice our concern? should i email cosmo? blast them on twitter? this is a free forum that's public, and if us the players want to use it as our soapbox so to speak then who is to say other wise. The other trolls on here that defend bungie like you work for them or have some loyalty to you, they are loyal to money no matter what demographic it comes from. my time is valuable and im sure some of the other players is to. complain about the 13 yrold in starbucks complaining because their non fat chai was taking too long; not us gamers upset about a game we all cared about.
