I for one am getting sick of the BS of being rushed through nightfalls. I miss destiny one being able to solo them if I so chose too. Hate feeling rushed all the time get enough of that everywhere else maybe hey some weeks aren’t rush rush rush.

I the think the timer if fine for somethings but it's way too common in D2. I've been having fun helping people with the Rat king quest. Many of the NF's are fun with the timer, some are not. I'm not sure how well I can explain this, but let me try. With the timer people try to just kill captain X so you can get to the next encounter without kill 1/2 of the adds, which almost always causes the entire team to wipe one or more times. Then you get to the boss, don't kill the adds and try to damage the boss. I don't find skipping all the adds and wiping very much fun. I'm not talking about the sections you can run through... I'm fine with skipping stuff but the game is more fun when you shoot stuff and use your super to generate obs. I normally enjoy trying to solo the NF's so I can develop my skills and work out the best loadouts for my play style, experiment with different cover locations. The timer takes away from that and most people don't like running the NF more than once.

I use to look forward to the nightfall and it was fun running it with everyone I could help. Now its like I pick and choose my team which really does isolate many that struggle and you damn know it can't be done with them in the time frame if they are not as skilled. Bungie wanted a community based game but it hasn't done that by timers, 4v4 playlist in crucible and just segregating the ones that loved D1 for a community based game where the timer was our effort helping all our friends regardless of their skill level. Get good is a poor excuse on this forum to just make those that have done the NF make their little selfish ego feel better .

4 답변작성자: sixty9tea 10/17/2017 12:01:33 AMBungie may have taken it upon themselves to decide how we like to play. They may have assumed that we wanted to run through the Nightfall's like Olympic Sprinters because of how we would run through the Strkes/Nightfall in D1. One thing they might have ignored is that we did this at our OWN PACE... Not Theirs. When a new Strike/Nightfall was released and our light levels were lower it was not easy to complete... But after some time and after running a strike 10 times we learned how to take shortcuts and move fast. It was fun because we did it on our own terms. It's not fun because Bungie is forcing us to complete the Nightfall at their pace, not ours. Bungie put us in a box. Despite all my rage I am still just a rat in a cage... good tune.

1 답변i do the nightfall each week. it DOES suck now. i'd take any variation of destiny 1 nightfalls over this. kick to orbit if we wipe (though just restarting activity would work too, bungo) tons of other modifiers that encouraged different styles of play, etc. all were better than this.

4 답변작성자: lifetaker0311 10/13/2017 2:37:16 PMI can hear bungie now... the timer in the NFs gives the guardians an extra factor to an already challenging game mode. We think making the timer even shorter will help challenge the players further calling for more skill and team work.😛👎🏻

2 답변Honestly it's not even hard. Every time I've tried with my clan mates we've 1 or 2 shot the nightfall. Just don't care to try again. It's -blam!-ing boring and pointless. I miss having actual fun in activities. No actual fun to be had. This shit should not be treated like castlevania or Mario. Speed running is absolutely stupid and not fun. Honestly if you're arguing that "it's supposed to be hard" it's not hard it's -blam!-ing annoying. Nightfall timers are the insufferable equivalent of going to a -blam!-ing Pokémon TCG tournament that's only occupied by adults.

1 답변Weakest character is 304, has very solid gear equipped, has gone flawless on multiple characters multiple times yet still complains about the easiest PVE end game content in the game. Yea, no one is seeking attention here at all..

3 답변At first I didn’t mind the timer but every week after week it’s just piss poor design . Now if the strikes were designed around a timeframe get a dude before he escapes or battle your way out a burning ship ... that might change but the same stupid strikes with the timer every week is just lazy Zzz . If it rotated as a modifier then not so bad .. however contrary to popular bungie believe ... timers do not equal difficulty .

4 답변The timer on the nightfall is BS, it takes the fun out of it. I have a lot of friends who won't even run the nightfall any more. If you want a damn timer, then put it on the prestige nightfall. Some of us want to have fun and not have everything intense.

I hated the nightfall in D1, there was very little challenge - except maybe the super-skank nightfall with arc burn - surviving the warsat at the beginning was a bugger. I truly think the timer adds a level of cooperation and loadout consideration D1 never had. It is not meant to be easy, but if people actually work together the nightfalls are pretty much a joke. Albeit getting rat king time is definitely a little harder depending on the nightfall. D1 = Rocket launcher 1/3 of the nightfall, switch to sword Pop a heavy synth for 1/3 of the nightfall, switch back to rocket launcher and pop another heavy synth. In some ways I think the lack of Synths have added as much difficulty as the timer. Especially in prestige mode. Oh what I wouldn't give for 6 extra rockets at the boss.

6 답변Sh-- I couldn't even make it to final boss on last weeks NF. I wish they would remove the timer and put in matchmaking for NF. That would work.

Timers are lazy game design when they are solely used to increase difficulty I hate them in this game, I hate them in games like XCom. it forces reckless and mindless "rush the objective" style play because there is no time for any other approach. It just turned the Nightfal into a glorified speed run

15 답변I'm actually sick of being rushed through strikes by those who run ahead, trigger all the enemies, pass them by, and leave me behind to try to somehow get through it all alone without any revives and shitty power ammo drops. I attempted a nightfall once with a partner and we didn't get far. Tried Leviathan, didn't make it to the second area. It's difficult to "get gud" when all those who are good consistently shit on the team work part of it. Some folks like to shit on casual players (I'm not one) but then do zero to help those players progress. It all feels like a cliquish circle jerk sometimes.

You could have a timer and a three tier reward system. 1 Finish with more than 5 mins left, prestige reward and your milestone. 2 Finish with 0.01 - 4.59 mins left, legendary rewards and milestone. 3 Timer runs out, takes you however long to finish it, solo or fireteam, you just get milestone complete. I just want to complete milestone bugs me it's there every week because I, like you and many others, don't want to rush through it. Why can't I just enjoy it sometimes and other times sweat like fuk to do it quicker. This, as all posts in your topic, will fall on deaf ears, no responce from Bungie or a ninja or anyone else, just diehard Destiny players who are wishing for a better playing experiance, and being ignored (so it seems).
