Seeing the massive lack of recovery gear for hunters, and the undeniably underpowered class ability they get, I think this would be a good start to fixing the class.
Health recovery initiating when you dodge rather than having to wait for your recovery cool down means that hunters can play a hit and run style more effectively and can spend more time fighting than hiding and waiting for health to come back. It also means we won't have to give up all of our stats just to achieve a meager 5-6 recovery max.
It would also be nice if dodge reloaded team mate weapons or melee based on the chosen perk, rather than just your own.

6 답변An instant health regeneration on dodge wud be considered op. You wud be able to use it too often and when compared to the other classes-again wud be considered op. Locks have healing rift, but you have to stay within that rift to benefit from it n Titans have barrier, but again ur limited in ur movements to benefit. I think creating an exotic armour piece similar to Titans Alpha Lupi could be a good compromise? It gives a chunk of health back whenever a barrier is used. That way you're tied to a specific armour piece to benefit-as opposed to it being an intrinsic perk of the class.

6 답변That would be completely overpowered and I'm a hunter main. Perhaps an exotic armor that restores partial Heath or starts regen up upon dodge. It should not be built into the natural ability options though.

1 답변As someone who mains a titan, I agree. The hunter’s dodge is mediocre compared to the other 2 class abilities. While we are at it, I wish someone at bungie would look at armor stats in general. Hunters lack recovery, and titans don’t benefit from mobility. There’s a few vids up on YouTube that shows how mobility does absolutely nothing for Titans.

1 답변I don't understand how dodging would reload everyone's weapons, but then again teabagging behind a titan shield gives you a full clip so... But the furthest I would go is invincibility frames, that way it's like you're actually dodging something, kind of like rolling in Dark souls. This would help in moments of a hunter trying to escape by dodging around a corner instead of praying the enemy is inaccurate. It would be cool to see a hunter dodge a titan shield or a golden gun. Of course there would be limits. Rocket launchers, nova bomb, titan smash, sunspots, you could dodge the tether arrow but not the tether itself anything that really does splash damage cannot be dodged, maybe fusion rifles as well, you could dodge the dawnblade but if another one comes at you you're screwed. It would make it effective but not game breaking.

4 답변So in addition to cloaking and teleporting and automatic reloading you want to get instant health recovery when doing any of those actions? Why not add instant super or even a nuke flying out from your ass every time you dodge... You should not get rewarded with anything from evading.

I thought intrinsic invisibility would be nice but this sounds better. It's really ridiculous how much titans and warlocks have going for them then hunters are over here in the corner cussing to themselves like a psycho.

7 답변In that case you could just spec for armor and mobility and just have a bunch of class ability cooldown mods. You would have no down side, it would be broken.

3 답변I'd just be OK if we didn't take damage during the dodge. It's definitely the shittiest class ability. Stupid we get killed during it. I mean if you get killed then you didn't "dodge"...

I think Hunters need a different class ability in the form of a support package drop like ability. -a pack of light that provides ammo -a pack of light that provides an armor buff/mobility buff It'd synergize with the other class abilities. The dodge could be implemented for every Guardian without the secondary effects (the reload and melee recharge passive can be given to Gunslinger/Arcstrider subclass passives).
