Seeing the massive lack of recovery gear for hunters, and the undeniably underpowered class ability they get, I think this would be a good start to fixing the class.
Health recovery initiating when you dodge rather than having to wait for your recovery cool down means that hunters can play a hit and run style more effectively and can spend more time fighting than hiding and waiting for health to come back. It also means we won't have to give up all of our stats just to achieve a meager 5-6 recovery max.
It would also be nice if dodge reloaded team mate weapons or melee based on the chosen perk, rather than just your own.

2 답변I agree, the amount of times you have stay and defend an objective in this game, gives warlocks and Titans an even bigger advantage in pve with walls and rifts. If hunters got this, we could have so much more survivability.

6 답변If dodge gave some kind of small buff to teammates I would be pretty happy since the other class abilities are waaaay more helpful

2 답변Why, dodge is meaningless, you just do a 360 in the same spot lol, most meaningless thing in the game.

7 답변At the very least the dragon shadow exotic should grant health regen on dodge... It's well known that dodge is hands down the least useful class ability... it has marginal personal utility and zero team utility (in a game focused around teamplay...) Think about it... Voidwalker: -full health on charged melee kill -full health from consuming nade -healing rift -ridiculously fast warlock recovery -health after any kill while devour is active -health from meleeing with karnstein armlets TITANS -health Regen from charged or uncharged melee kills if striker or sentinel.... -overshield from sentinel melee kill -health Regen from barricade with crest of alpha lupi... -HEALTH REGEN MID SUPER FROM SHOULDER CHARGE KILLS ON STRIKER Hunter: Can roll behind a corner, and turn invis for 3 seconds?

1 답변I'm maining a hunter here but wouldn't you think that would be OP? especially with nightstalker? You could be mid gunfight, evade round the corner and flank your opponent not only invisible but full health too

3 답변things i'd like to change the dodge with 1) increase the travel distance a little, like ~20 percent< this was simple because it doesn't feel like you travel all that far. 2) change the entire style of dodge to the taken/vex version now i'm here and now i'm not. this would make the ability an actual dodge, combine with four it could disorientate the opponent for a second. 3) dodge intrinsically grants a movement buff, for about half the base cool down length, and about as strong as light weight bonus, this was to make the class actually feel like bungie keeps describing it the mobile class. 4) intrinsically nightstalker's invisibility on dodge skill, the skill will now increase the time the invisibility from dodge lasts. this honestly feels like the most powerful/useful skill the hunter has, so having it be universal is good for balancing the hunter, and again helps hunter actually be mobile. your not mobile enough if the enemy knows where you are. welp that might be over buffing but i don't really think that is the case, personal opinion is hunter class ability needs it, and it is still something on a 16 second timer so it won't come up every fight, and does not guarantee a win.

2 답변This'll never pass because of how undeniably overpowered Hunters already are but nice try.

3 답변작성자: ManBlaster 10/11/2017 10:17:27 AMor even have it cause a shield burst effect to damage nearby enemy shields especially for the arcstrider making the the gambler's dodge a worthwhile gamble in Pvp where it will damage enemy shield but not damage their health which could also come in handy for resetting an enemy's recovery as well.

15 답변I'm a hunter main and this is a terrible idea. Dodge is fine, hunters are fine; D2 is very balanced.

7 답변Underpowered? I wish I could evade with my Titan and have it reload my weapon mid-gunfight. You know what people do when you put up towering barricade? Jump.

1 답변I agree as long as it's only activating the regen and not insta healing like devour does

11 답변Hunters were the most played class in D1. I think bungie is trying to balance out the classes. I think they did a good job. Hunters have high mobility and armor and low recovery. Use the increased mobility to strafe in and out of cover.
