I’m a decent player, went flawless in D2 already but have absolutely no desire to ever touch trials again.
I’m talking about social and competitive. The 4v4 nature of both playlists has made every game I play so non fun and so f ing sweaty I have stopped playing D2 dramatically compared to the same point in time with D1.
I played D1 for clash, 6v6 specifically. I loved it, I love tdm, have since goldeneye 64. All through Halo, the Cods, tdm is fun and a great laid back time waster and most importantly great for solo queuing players like myself who would rather spend a few hours a night away from the wife and kids relaxing shooting some shit
Now I go into casual or competitive and I’m tryharding like it’s my mid 20’s again playing custom mlg halo games. I mean wtf bungie. You guys f’d up taking 6v6 out, and iron banner is going to be a sweat fest. I’m just over this.
Until 6v6 comes back I see no need to play this game, I don’t raid, I could care less about nightfalls, all I did was play a insane amount of pvp in d1 because it was fun. The gunplay was amazing. I lasted until Jan of 17, leaving due to the absolute castration of the weapon nerds performed through the years.
Now I’m done because you just couldn’t f ing include 6v6? It’s sad.
Looks like I’ll be waiting patiently for an update but in the meantime I guess I’ll just have to get my nightly tdm in cod ww2.

작성자: Mandalorian7413 10/9/2017 7:45:38 PMI leveled up my Hunter in D1 Vanilla all the way starting at lvl 4 to max. I haven't touched my Hunter yet in D2 and was thinking of leveling him but I'm pretty sure if I tried to do it in crucible this time I'd have a stroke. Every match is sweaty AF winning or losing by just a few points unless it's a pre made clan on the other side in which case you may as well drop out.

작성자: KhalErik 10/9/2017 6:29:32 PMI spent thousands of hours over the course of Destiny 1, most of which was solo queue. Due to the changes made to D2 crucible, I can't stand to run solo. I will never understand why Bungie uprooted everything we had in favor of these new changes 4v4/double primary weapons/TTK/abilities/TeamShotFocus but it all feels so so terrible to me. Yes, there is a lot to be said of balance and attempting to create a QuickPlay/ "Competitive" experience, but it's not worth killing the games longevity for those players who would actually stick around for the long haul. Here's hoping for some sort of changes in the future. 🙃

They are trying to push this into more of a competitive/e-sport form of pvp. It’s not for casually running and gunning anymore sadly. It’s the most balanced crucible we have had since day 1 destiny 1. It just so happens to be the least fun crucible we’ve had since day 1 destiny 1.

1 답변
Does anyone feel a sense of dread while loading up Crucible?
Hell no, it's just a game.

2 답변No real sense of dread. I understand that it is simply a video game. I do suck at PvP though. :P Honestly though? When I'm in the right mood... I'll go in and do a bit of Crucible. I'll have fun no matter if I have a (rather rare) good run or if I get my ass handed to me. I prefer Control and wish (probably against most others) that Rift would make a return. I had some of my most enjoyable PvP moments in really close matches in Rift. When I KNEW that next 'dunk' was going to either win or lose the game... THAT's when I felt the right amount of pressure!

It's true that competitively, 4v4 works well. Whether or not its better than 3s is a different story, but from my experience 4s in a competetive environment is a lot of fun. However, casually, it is important to have large game modes. The Quickplay option is for for people who want to play casually, and 4s is so tight that it is almost in direct opposition to what should be achieved. I see that they wanted to try skmething new with the Crucible. But 4s doesnt work for social play. On a side note, how about a groundwar 9v9 playlist?

1 답변I am actually a fan of the 4v4. I get why people don't... but for me, I no longer feel like I am getting killed as soon as I walk out. It just seems more controlled. I would have liked to see IB stand out more than just being a Crucible re-skin... 6v6 could work there if they are dead set on removing the competitive play.

I did up until this past weekend. Went back to play D1 Crucible and that solidified my issues in D2. I'm a solo player a heart and never found it much of an issue in D1. Even if the match was a loss I did well. I was having a hard time with this in D2, but I finally feel like I've adjusted. D2 Crucible is slow. Aint no going HAM like I did in D1. Well, I still can, but just not on every play, lol.
