* Subclass Quests - RNG
* Strikes - RNG
* Crucible modes - RNG
* Light Level - RNG
* Mods - RNG
* Faction gear - RNG
* Vendors - RNG
* Raid rewards - RNG
* Trials rewards - RNG
* Public Event rewards - RNG
* Clan rewards - RNG
* Shaders - RNG
* Sparrows, ships, and ghosts - RNG from Eververse (and no more drops from raids, events, etc)
* Ammo - RNG (and yellow bars dont always drop heavy!)
* Weapons - STATIC ROLLS, no more rerolling to customize perks
* Skill trees - STATIC TREES, no more mixing skills to customize playstyle
* Infusion - STATIC 1:1 INFUSIONS, no more infusing any primary into any primary to customize playstyle, you get locked into using whatever weapons are highest light. So even if you prefer scout rifles, you'll probably get stuck with a useless sidearm
* Clan - STATIC EXPERIENCE BAR, only 10,000 xp a week regardless of clan size. Does not scale. Large clans fill this in a few hours and get bored, small clans struggle all week
* Perks - NO RNG PERKS - Luck in the chamber and similar perks have all been nerfed right out of the game and replaced with useless things instead
* Xur - NO EXOTIC ENGRAMS - Xur now only sells starter/trash gear for a few shards. No more engrams, no more coins, no more weapon bundles, no more AMMO SYNTHS
* Raid - NO RAID PERKS/LACK OF DROPS - Remember when raid gear helped you do better in raids with specific perks? NERFED. All these Calus coins from beating checkpoints and opening the locked chests, I should be able to at least buy cosmetic raid gear right? NOPE- SLOT MACHINE.
Overall Destiny 2 is a much worse, heavily nerfed version of Destiny 1 based on these facts that are clear to anyone. Poor design choices all around. All the wrong things are RNG. 99,999 glimmer isnt enough when you need to blow 300,000 to get one RNG kinetic mod from the gunsmith to raise your light level. Shaders should be single use, but RE-USABLE - as in able to unequip them and apply them to a new piece of gear. Vendors should actually SELL STUFF, not just be casino slot machines all over. Strikes and crucible modes should be manually selectable, not RNG everytime. Clans need rework, as other than 4 clan engrams a week, theres not any other point to them, not even clan based pvp modes or anything.
Destiny 2's biggest problem besides RNG is lack of content. Once you get your 4 clan engrams, beat trials and the raid, theres nothing left to do all week besides grind boring public events. Lost Sectors arent the "mini-raids" we were promised. Patrol and high value targets are unrewarding. Strike playlist isnt rewarding at all, and crucible is too random. No more grinding legendary engrams to manually boost light level, as all normal purples drop 10 light levels lower than what you need to even break even! No more grinding for god roll guns. No more grinding for OP exotics. No more leveling up gear. No more grind at all really, and the grind was a vital part of D1.
Hopefully Destiny 3 will be the game Luke Smith promised Destiny 1 to be, as the first 2 games certainly fell very short. Perhaps a drastic change in leadership over at Bungie is necessary to improve this franchise.
TLDR - Destiny 2 nerfed the best parts of D1 and replaced them with bad RNG designs and lack of content

5 답변After three yrs of destiny 1 we are now on week 2 of of destiny 2 and I'm bored. Gotta wait for Tuesday to do anything. I won't be playing this for 6 months much less 3 yrs and that breaks my heart. Truly love destiny but they -blam!-ed up. There is no reason to grind

25 답변Again the problem with "lack of content" is the Destiny communities obsessive and scary need to speed run. The story was as long as most other video games of paced the same way you play those. Imagine people speedrunning the old halo campaigns as fast as humanly possible with all their friends and then they would only have multiplayer matches... You think we did that and complained about lack of content? Certainly not. Even as a child with no responsibilities I played far less games than some of these no life's on here. I myself can even admit to playing too much already to try and keep up with bs raid requirements people have already set.

1 답변There is some points that are fair but others that are so off based, like raid and trails drops should have been less rng instead of more, but light lvls is totally not rng, far less then it used to be atleast. I could go point for point but I hardly doubt anyone would listen regardless so imma just go over the big ones, sub classes are hardly rng, I've made 4 character (deleted one and started over) and I always got the subclass around the same time. I felt excited to get because it felt alot more special then going to place a to be told to go to place b so I could get it at point c Light now follows very strict rules that once understood you can use to get stronger pretty fast, with 3 weekly easy things to just get more light easy and quick Strikes ain't that much different then before and vendors are kinda rng but they are also alot more reliable, you know what light they will drop and what all they will drop with what perks And guns now are way better then before, all rng taken out of the gun, if you pick it up you can know right away what perks it has from the name since they never change The one and only Huge grip I have with destiny rng is the way exotics just drop duplicates for no reason at all, like not just the second of something, a 4th or a 5th like something totally buggy in there system I've gotten more duplicated then new exotics and I only got like 7 or so unique exotics

Im almost power level capped on 2 characters and its only week 2 lol and this joker says its too hard to increase your PL. This is the only raid where people were way above the recommended PL easily. Legendary engrams RAIN from the sky in this game. My vault is already full and ive gotten countless guns that i like. RNG is why people play looters. The fun feeling of not knowing whats going to drop is needed in a game like this. The game already gives you a lot of powerful exotics that you can get from quests, the rest is RNG. The only thing they should add is something to lower duplicate drops. Other than that most are happy with it. They are adding the factions from D1 very soon and you'll be able to get more loot from them. The only way to raise your light in D1 was raiding. Everything ive done in D2 has dropped something cool for me. And yes the raid drops a lot of tokens but ive done the raid 3 times and i have 4 guns from it and a helmet. Not bad for week 1. This isnt a "get every piece of gear in 40 hours" game. Its meant to grind for gear and grow powerful over time. Some of your complaints are VALID but some make us not be able to take you seriously. Subclass quests are RNG? Yes but they are programmed to drop very early. I have gotten all 3 before level 20 on both characters I made and i havent heard anyone in my clan (20ish people?) have to wait for theirs.

I agree to an extent, as it took 3 years of 'it would be good if X did this' suggestions to get D1 to a place where most of us were content. now all of those improvements have been wiped clean as if they never happened
-
Yet it's still less RNG than the first game. Loot tables for each faction and activity are easily seen, so you know which activity to do to get whatever gear you want. You can reliably expect to level up each faction with good rewards at each level. It basically took every issue I had with the destiny 1 grind and fixed it, actually giving you a reason to do activities other than grinding strikes with the hope of getting more than one legendary a day. D2 has just as much endgame content as D1 had at launch, but more importantly it has far more mid to late-game content than D1 has ever had. I would consider that a big step in the right direction, as expanding endgame is far easier than expanding mid-game.

Enjoying the rng of destiny 2 way more. Hated getting the dream gun with a bad roll. I hated the forever 27's barely able to make it to raid. The blues from purple engrams. Ugh... Destiny 2 is not perfect. Not by far. But its come a long way

1 답변Too many people spend too much time whining about stuff. A company with a lot of money and experience made a computer game. They made it the way they decided to make it. we either play and enjoy it of find something else to do. Writing whiny posts on the Internet just makes you a glass-half full person. Surely you can get your $$$/£££ worth of enjoyment out of it before you decide to stop playing because you don't like their RNG system?

작성자: Nimble_Owl 9/18/2017 4:24:02 PMThank God!!! Now it makes it easier for the filthy casuals like me that have a Gf or S/O, a job and hobbies to play the game and keep up. Sorry you're a loser that has no hobbies outside of 1 single video game. I'm also sorry you don't get laid.
Not sorry. If you don't like it. You can return the game and get your money back. No one is stopping you.
I like the public events for all the exotic engrams I get but other than that you're right but don't forget there adding to this game slot faster than d1 and slot more. It's only 2 weeks old. I'm enjoying public events and crucible alot.

I think about the only two complaints I can come up with as far as the RNG is that the high light/milestone rewards, we should be able to choose whether it would be a random weapon or armor. The other complaint is for the planetary/faction there should be a system to purchase any items in the collections for shards but they are 10 light. Haha call me cynical but I'm 100% sure all I've suggested will be a reality in three years for the last big update that's three months before D3 goes live.

4 답변I'm sure if I played all of a game like wolfenstein In 3 days I would think there wasn't much content either. Don't speed through content and then complain about there not being enough content

작성자: TheLiteMagician 9/18/2017 2:41:09 PMI believe the reason it feels it took longer to get through vanilla D1 is because we didn't necessarily know about hoarding materials and speed leveling.. We also weren't able to buy planetary materials and didn't have exotic engrams so the process took longer. Coming into destiny 2, everything is easier. It's not about speed leveling or speed running the game. It is just naturally easier to level due to knowledge from D1. I didn't even try to speed run and have all 3 characters above 296. I kinda agree. It feels like there isn't much to do this time around in order to boost level. It only takes a couple hours at most to get through the clan xp and flash points.. Edit: I love destiny 2 to pieces and even if I don't have anything to do, I'm usually still sitting in front of it waiting for someone to need help or jumping in on a random friend to help them out.

1 답변작성자: puppyk1sses 9/18/2017 2:14:53 PMIf you compare Vanilla D2 to the final version of D1, D1 was easily better. However, if you compare Vanilla D2 to Vanilla D1, D2 is infinitely better in every single imaginable way. I'm guessing you a) didn't play the initial release of D1 or b) forgot that this is a Vanilla version of a game and things will change. That said, they made some really stupid changes. Disposable shaders, bad mod system, no randomized weapon rolls, everything about the raid from encounters to drops is just plain bad, no way to outright buy the piece of gear you need. At this state in the game they are using RNG in all the wrong places. We just need to let them know what parts suck so they can fix it:

As a person who only played vanilla destiny, I can say that destiny 2 is way better. Comparing it to destiny 1 (which was out for 3 years and haved several dlcs) isn't really fair. The game has been out for a few weeks. Give them some time.
