This is a bit ridiculous in my eyes. Firstly, the Kekistani movement is intended as a joke. It's a parody of identity politics as a whole, and is absolutely not a hate group. It's a made-up ethnicity intended to be a substitute for an oppressed class. It's meant to parody the use of someone's race or oppressed class as a buffer for their argument, because in reality one's race, gender, or religion does not affect the credibility of their argument one bit. And yes, it parodies white supremacy just the same as it parodies social justice warriors.
I don't understand how this is in any way a "hate group." It's just a little 4chan injoke that grew way too big until the people memeing it forgot its original meaning.
Bungie, don't become one of these skittish developers that always bows down to overzealous political correctness. There's no need to censor or change your game because it might accidentally offend someone's politics. Us fans just want you to deliver a fun experience that's exactly as the developers intended. Sure, you can say that it's just one armor piece, but it's still substantial. It could have just as easily been that a beloved exotic was found to be "offensive" and had its visuals completely overhauled just to please angry politicals. I don't like this trend in gaming and I thought Bungie was better than this.

Dont you know thats how the world "works" nowadays? Thinskinned pussies that don't understand the difference in male and female genders whine and stonp their feet because mere words offend them. Then you call em out and you're the bad guy. Just goes to show that we'll have 8 more years of Trump because the far left has continued to double down on their idiocy and attempt to shame anybody who crosses them. I'm disappointed in Bungie for removing the gauntlets, but I'm not surprised.

We live in interesting times. Big money is cracking down globally on internet speech and the only people who seem to be fighting back, aside from Snowden & Assange, are a bunch of neo--godwinslaw!- losers and the high IQ autists from 4chan. A few of those guys have actually been "unpersoned" [Orwellian term] recently by governments and big tech, for essentially doing nothing more than making off-color fat jokes about that obese woman who died from a heart attack during those awful political riots in Charlottesville last month. I guess it's sad that Bungie apparently stands with "the man" (that's how I interpret this move which was little more than empty virtue-signaling as far as I'm concerned) though it's understandable for them to do so, since these type of things could actually affect their bottom line, were one of these anti-Western hate groups that are filled with unstable, gullible kids and actual mental patients to take this up as their new big cause for "justice". These people have a lot of friends in the media, some of being "the media" themselves, so it could potentially lead to a lot of bad publicity for Bungie. It was smart of them to get ahead of that I suppose. Though on the same day that Bungie made this unfortunate move, there was also a small victory for freedom loving people around the world, as anti free speech activist Jonathan Greenblatt, who runs one of these ethnic interest group organizations, got ran off of his own AMA by the good people of the Reddit community. After one too many critical question, the thread was unsurprisingly locked by the Reddit mods, preventing mister Greenblatt from spouting his anti-freedom propaganda unopposed. It's good to see that mods of the Bungie community aren't as far gone in that regard, as by evidence of this topic not having been censored.

What this really is journalist feeding you what they want you to think. Polygon that POS journalist over there started this misinformation. It's an attempt to partially control internet speech by saying these are hate symbols is the fakest of fake news. Repeat after me "F Journalist". Their kind are amoung the worst of society, lawyers and politicians and Journalist. That Bungie followed this nonesence I loose 90% of my respect for them. I'll play the game, and when I talk to new people and the subject come up or a related subject. I'll be sure to tell them about the spineless PR department that doesn't protect ART, or doesn't protect artist by allowing censorship. Also makes me wonder how out of touch is Bungie with their base in the general world? Maybe many in Bungie do live in an ivory tower and don't even realize it? Just wow.

It's just a meme that the MSM started associating with "white supremacy", because for whatever reason MSM has a huge boner for white supremacy and insist on finding it in literally anything. Bungie removing it is as hilarious as the Anti-Defamation League branding Pepe the Frog as "racist".

1 답변If I'm not mistaken, KeK means LoL in orcish in World of Warcraft. When horde players typed lol while alliance we're around that's how it got translated on their screens.

Tbh I do find it really stupid how far this has gotten. Should the hunter gloves have been changed? No, they did nothing wrong. But the whole involvement of potential SJW/Neo-dimwits, it bares as much resemblance to the kekistani flag as a straight line does to a swastika. The fact of the matter is, the most popular use of the term kek came from World of Warcraft (I didn't know because I didn't play WoW, but meh) meaning lol. So now lol is offensive? Laugh out loud / lots of love / league of legends, is offensive? Can I please be done with this world? Please? It's not that lifes not worth living, I just don't want to share a species with these people.

Do any of you think the CABAL could actually sneak a fleet that big that close to earth without anyone noticing. The vanguard wanted to take total control and remove the speaker and the faction leaders. Am I the only one that has noticed all the armed guards in the tower or that there is a vanguard leader in each part of the tower keeping an eye on us. Ghaul was way too easy to defeat to be the mastermind behind anything. The vanguard used him as a distraction to take our strange coins and all of our ghallahorns and are now trying to get us to squabble amongst ourselves over things we didn't care about a week ago.

Tbh I'm more offended that it bore any resemblance to a dumb -blam!-ing meme than anything else. Being real, I didn't see it and it took me several minutes before I did. Don't know if that makes me oblivious or what. What miffs me is how the Errant Knight legs have been caught in the dragnet and replaced as well. I'm sure it's a mistake but still, really? Armor models must be connected to each other in some odd and inexplicable way unless the intern responsible for this patch accidentally took out the Knight model over a disagreement on texture.
