Bring back crucible game mode choice
It really sucks that we can't choose what game type we want to play. I would like to be able to choose wether I play control or clash, or survival or countdown. Anyone else feel the same way?
Also, bring back rumble...
Edit: If we don't have private matches, at least let us choose the game mode.
Edit 2: The game is amazing so far. The goal of this post is to give constructive feedback to Bungie, nothing else.
Edit 3: It is clear that the vast majority of people want the choice of which game mode to play. Almost everyone wants 6v6, and many want 3v3 and rumble. If Bungie is really trying to push 4v4, then we should at least be able to pick the game mode we want. Maybe having a quickplay/competitive option like we have now and additional select playlists inside.
Edit 4: Thank you for all of the support/feedback. Over 900 likes in 24 hours, hopefully Bungie addresses this.

Maybe they are worried about dividing the player base? Afraid half will be in the play list half will be in game select which then divides that population again by each game type. I wish there could be a way to merge them. Like queue in the playlist which will place you in a random game type with other people from the playlist as well as people that queued for whatever game type the playlist selected, or something like that.

Bring back oddball with an engram instead and griffball with swords and infection. OR Bring back the halo 2 leveling system for PVP and let it be a true sweaty grind where your level is based on play and you can lose levels if you play poorly

I support this. We need 6v6 and game choice, bring back rumble. Honestly I can't imagine how anyone solo can really enjoy pvp in its current format, especially as the design goal for Destiny 2 was accessibility. You come up against a team and that's it. I also don't feel that there is much difference in Quickplay vs Competitve, especially as Quickplay is described as laid back...

1 답변Couldn't agree more. Played 5 matches today.... Supremacy Supremacy Clash Supremacy Supremacy Give up. I loathe supremacy. At least allow us to toggle off one game mode from each playlist; I love control, clash, and survival.

I'm cool with the whole quick play and intense idea but lets get some diversity into the playlists at least. Quick-play could be un-ranked and include lots of "for fun" playlists. The intense or ranked playlists could have a WIN-BASED ranking system for each playlist and potentially severe penalties for quitting. The whole point of the ranked playlist is so good people who want to go grind PvP don't go wreck people who just want to play for fun in PvP, which is exactly whats happening now. Below is my list of the playlist set up for PvP in Destniy 2 if it were up to me: Not ranked: -5v5 clash ONLY. -5v5 objective modes ONLY. (Lets get some CTF up in there) -8v8 clash and objective MIX. -clan vs clan: 4v4 clash and objective MIX. (enter the lobby as a group of 4 and search for another group as 4) Ranked: -2v2 clash and objective MIX. -3v3 clash and objective MIX. -4v4 clash and objective MIX. -Hardcore: teams of 3-5 players each. Clash and objective MIX. NO SUPERS, only 2 power weapon drops per game. -clan vs clan: 4v4 objective and clash MIX. (enter the lobby as a group of 4 and search for another group as 4) -Hardcore clan vs clan: 4v4 objective and clash MIX. (enter the lobby as a group of 4 and search for another group as 4) NO SUPERS, only 2 power weapon drops per game. EDIT: Also a Rumble (free for all) playlist! This is just my opinion. 2 답변Yes Yes Yes!!! Because I hate having to be forced to a team game. They suck so much and I am mostly a solo player so if I can do it solo I will and I keep getting matched up with the worst of teams that have no idea what theyre doing and do not contribute a single bit, it really sucks having to loose alot of games because of "team efforts"

1 답변Crucible is once again a mess. Overpowered mida, awful maps that are extremely cluttered. Hit detection is awful, huge delay.

I agree. I left Destiny 1 in Oct of 2015. A friend talked me into Destiny 2 and so far I really like the changes. Except Crucible. Not happy with only 4v4 and the maps aren't that good IMHO. I hope they have plans to improve it much as the community has posted here.
