Bring back crucible game mode choice
It really sucks that we can't choose what game type we want to play. I would like to be able to choose wether I play control or clash, or survival or countdown. Anyone else feel the same way?
Also, bring back rumble...
Edit: If we don't have private matches, at least let us choose the game mode.
Edit 2: The game is amazing so far. The goal of this post is to give constructive feedback to Bungie, nothing else.
Edit 3: It is clear that the vast majority of people want the choice of which game mode to play. Almost everyone wants 6v6, and many want 3v3 and rumble. If Bungie is really trying to push 4v4, then we should at least be able to pick the game mode we want. Maybe having a quickplay/competitive option like we have now and additional select playlists inside.
Edit 4: Thank you for all of the support/feedback. Over 900 likes in 24 hours, hopefully Bungie addresses this.

This needs to be a thing. if you want to just roll through the playlist you should be able to, if you want to just play crest capture or point capture or TDM you should be able to do so. I'm not a fan of not being able to choose specific strikes or crucible modes....

agreed, i would never play supremacy if i had the choice. also i haven't played a lot of competitive but i have yet to play countdown, survival is all that comes up for me. I think I've played something like 10 competitive games.

Let's be real, I know the population may be high now, but don't expect it to last very much longer. To top it off, crucible is the least played activity of them all.

I can finally clearly see, o I died because I missed my shots or because I took 2 guys on alone with no abilities. I could not stand saying, why did I just die. First off, I would prefer to have the option of either selecting if I want to play a specific game mode OR if I want to play a mashup up different game modes. In addition to that, the fact that you get booted to orbit after every match and have to wait to make another match makes for a long wait trying to get crucible play in. The wait time for matching players is probably a bigger detractor for me than not being able to select my game mode. Last point I would throw out there is that 6v6 makes the most sense to me for match sizes. 3v3 is too small for maps this size. I love the maps they created but sometimes even with 4v4 it takes quite a bit of running around to contact the enemy. Since the default strike team size for every other PvE mission is 3, it makes sense for the PvP portion to be a multiple of 3 as well. That would make it much easier for teams to load in to matches. I'm sure there are more adjustments coming down the line anyway so I'm not too concerned that we'll see those game modes and larger matches coming anyway. My #1 concern is still the wait in finding suitable matches that makes waiting unappealing.

[b][u]It wastes way too much time just trying to get to what you want -- I thought Bungie said they wanted to ELIMINATE OBSTACLES TO THE FUN this time around instead of making things worse!![/u] [/b]Working folks with families barely have for gaming in the first place.

Nobody assume that this is just to make sure the servers work at launch? I expect to see the game modes open up after the first Trials of the Nine or Iron Banner when they've had a look at how things have been running for a few weeks.

BUMP, BUMP, BUMP! It was ok at first, but when you start to realize how handcuffed you are it begins to feel cheap/generic. The random playlist makes players that dont want to waste their time doing something they dont want to do QUIT; leaving your team with uneven #'s and getting your ass handed to you over and over. If this doesnt change, PVP really will be broken, and not because some troll said so.

1 답변Totally agree with allowing us to be able to choose which game mode we play.. but don't you think the maps are a little small to have 6 v 6?? Just a thought, it may work out but may be too chaotic lol.

1 답변Honestly, they should have just done what Titanfall 2 did and have a "mixtape". It lets you select a bunch of gametypes and that's your personal playlist. You only get matched into game modes that you select.

if it also wouldn't be too much to ask, could we have private matches back again? as for rumble, maybe put that under competitive only, because let's be realistic, not many people that aren't really good at pvp are gonna go there...
