Seriously, the title says it all: this is a broken system, and I can't imagine there's any reason for making them consumable other than to encourage micro-transactions. I don't care if it's been said before, I'm saying it again.
Shaders were previously one of the most fun aspects of Destiny; now they're a chore that just makes you feel uncomfortable if all your pieces can't be shaded to look the way you want. You have to either be impatient and spend real money, or grind and hope for a good drop. Exotics are easier to predict now.
Make D2 shaders permanent!

(I honestly could care less I used three shaders in destiny 1 super black and the hardcore siva shader and a new monarchy I'm sorry all you fashionistas are triggered but it's honestly a better system since you can customize individual pieces of armor)

It's just coloring your guardian to "look cool" it does nothing for actual gameplay. Maybe I'm different but shaders are like the last thing I care about. what about things like being locked with your 4 attunement perks instead of being able to pick your own choosing... that I can get on board with but also not pissed off enough to create a thread. I'm okay with P2LookCool vs. P2W if they do micro trans actions.

2 답변I really don't get the hysteria over this—we're talking about single-use shaders, not single-use guns.

2 답변I don't think they need to be permanent. But being able to buy them with Glimmer rather than having them be random drops would be nice.

Original destiny system: Get the shader once and have it forever, the drawback is it either has a terrible drop rate, or it's so ugly that they decide to sell it for glimmer. No shaders applicable to weapons, ships, sparrows etc. Destiny 2: system: shaders are single use, but drop frequently and can be applied to multiple weapons, rather than just only getting one. Can be applied to weapons, armor, ships, ect. You heard em bungie, give em back the system they want! In all honesty the ONLY thing I don't like it being single use for is armor. If they make certain shaders infinite use (like raid and special event shaders) but kept uncommon shaders limited use would that keep you people happy? I personally like the new system because the original was so very flawed and sometimes would make certain gear look uglier than it should. What if they added in a system where once you have gotten the shader you unlock the schematic that you can use to make more shaders at the cost of glimmer and some tokens?

If they really must have single-use shaders, I'd be much more comfortable with it if there was at least a "Shader catalog" ala Animal Crossing where I could order more of a certain type of shader once I've unlocked it, even if it costs some Silver dust (or whatever that resource is called). I'm also curious if things like Raid shaders will be single-use as well, and you have to grind more of the Raid if you want to color a new piece of Armor from the next DLC or something.
