Specifically, establishment republicans. More specifically, Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan.
And any Republican who supports them on this one. And yes, any liberal who supports them on this one.
That Entire Group, if things go down the way they're supposedly going to, can -blam!-ing -blam!- off and eat a turd.
They supposedly want to use relief money for the hurricane disaster in Texas as a bargaining chip to raise the national debt 2 trillion dollars. No spending cuts. And presumably, no tax increases either.
Even breitbart is ripping on them for it, look. http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2017/09/05/battle-brewing-on-capitol-hill-as-establishment-aims-to-link-hurricane-harvey-aid-with-debt-ceiling-hike/
Friendly reminder this kind of crap is why "establishment" has become a derogatory term.
Edit: even the people in the comments on the breitbart article are pissed off.

Add chicken bouillon and water to the pot and heat until it starts to boil. Add the sliced potatoes and cook until soft, about half an hour. Add the heavy cream and just cook until thoroughly heated. Stir in the sausage and the kale, let all heat through and serve. Delicious!

4 답변Oy vey, did someone mention raising the national debt? We can work out a nice loan for you. Don't worry about the interest rate right now, Goyim.

You know this isnt the first time republicans used american safety as a bargaining chip? I remember there was a funding bill for a certain disease and they wanted to slip in their agenda. They also tried pushing a budget bill that would have no tax compensation for its cost. Cant remember but im sure if i loomed for these long enough i will find them. I thought they did it last year to hurt clinton (since it was assumed her win at the time) but looks like they are OK with sabotaging him too.

3 답변I assume we are all here to rip on the Republicans for increasing the debt ceiling, instead of doing the sane thing and getting rid of the outdated institution altogether

1 답변Actually they want tax cuts, specifically for the rich. And more spending money for defense. And cutting the DACA program which will probably hurt more. And building a multi-billion dollar wall. Hell, Trump wanted to straight repeal the ACA which would have ALSO added to the debt, according to CBO reports, if I remember correctly. But hey, party of financial responsibility... But kudos for actually making a thread about disagreeing with the right.
