Bungie-
Good lord thanks alot for implementing a smart loot system that reads your highest level upon engram drop rather than forcing us to do the "Inventory shuffle" to equip our best gear so that the gear drops at highest possible level. Seriously a HUGE quality of life improvement that I just want to say THANKS for. This will save HOURS of time.
And KUDOS to doing a rolling midnight for D2 as opposed to the "Whatever Time" Pacific of previous releases. I get to actually play this game at midnight. Good move.

11 답변So if I see 210 Light on an Engram, that is the Minimum amount of light it can roll when I go to turn it in?

3 답변I'm happy that they're doing a midnight release! I'm probably going to be pissed when I can't enter the game due to max servers. Oh man the sadness I had when I tried during RoI...

2 답변
And KUDOS to doing a rolling midnight for D2
I can agree with this. It'll certainly be better that 3million people all logging on at the same time. It'll be a steady increase in traffic. Easily more manageable than "OK EVERYONE GO NOW!".

4 답변작성자: TheShadow-cali 9/1/2017 8:54:03 PMThey went through this with Ttk and had issuse. So hopefully for the gamers sake they did a better job this time around. If they did, I can at least give them credit for that.
Shhh don't tell anyone, I have a reputation to keep lol
7 답변Rolling release huh? Good thing I am on the East Coast! The gear thing needed to happen. The part about Guided Games has me very apprehensive. Just put in options for matchmaking already.

The progression might be a step in a good direction but the devil is in the details and the new setup is going to slow down progression for the following reasons. 1) Reward level is resolved immediately meaning that acquiring multiple pieces at once will be less rewarding since we no longer have the opportunity to become a higher light level prior to encryption of another piece. 2) Only a single exotic is counted and alternative class gear is ignored. This bias progression towards those people that run multiple of the same class. Feeding gear forward to characters for infusion is a regular tactic to increase progression. I like the reduction in inventory management requirements but if they're taking this step then why not just get rid of engrams altogether?

6 답변I don't want to sound like an idiot but I know it said rolling 12 a.m. est for the states but I live in the midwest with a CST so does that mean I'm going at 11 pm? Once again sounding like an idiot but not trying to be one...

29 답변The downside to having the engram's level determined on drop is that you won't be able to store them for when new content is on the horizon. I know a few people who would power-level on day one of new DLC by using exotic engrams they'd been saving up.

11 답변I know, right? It was especially nice of Bungie to ensure that Warlocks' continued dominance went forward into D2 with the best exotics. Now that we know ALL the exotics and their effects, it's pretty clear which class will be the go-to in raids!

5 답변You read the big downside? Now you need to farm engram, run decrypt, farm engram, run decrypt to get the most progression since it's locked to your light when you earn it. This run back to the farm every time you get an engram system is much worse than the occasional "oh crap I forgot to equip the better gear..." one.

2 답변Plenty of good improvments but dont jump for joy. Engrams light level is locked as soon as it drops, only the roll changes on decryption. Not sure how that will turn out

3 답변I have to agree that the smart loot system is perhaps the biggest QoL improvement they've added to Destiny 2 (that we know of)
