Meh.

Lets see where to begin. One that would require them to put all 3 platforms data onto one mega server. Two they would need to get Microsoft and Sony to play nice to include a feature with such a mega server. Three Sony does not want to touch penises with Microsoft. I mean I guess due to the fact we can link them all to the same Bungie.net account it technically should be able to scan our Bungie.net profiles and reward the accolades that way. Ha who are we kidding Bungie can't code its way out of a paper bag.

I personally think this should be implemented, it's just emblems honestly but they also mark your achievements in Destiny 1 and tell everyone that you have been here for a long time. It's not like it would be the hardest thing in the world to do either, most (if not all) the achievements can be tracked directly through the website, and you can link an account from all platforms to your bungie.net account, so I don't see why or how it would be impossible to allow the game to check your bnet profile and see if you completed these achievements then give you the emblems on the platform you're logging in on. Hell, GTA V allows you to transfer an entire character with levels, money, unlocks etc from console to pc, so it's possible. Unfortunately I don't see Bungie doing it or changing their mind cause reasons that have not been explained. To those people who are just hating on the idea, why? It's not like it affects your gameplay or invalidates YOUR achievements, it affects you in no way really so there's no reason to not at the very least CONSIDER the idea of allowing something that's entirely possible to happen.

While it would be nice. I'm not going to cry about it. I was beta on X1 and got a PS 4 a few months after TTK. I didn't get my emblems for AoT but eventually I didn't care. I just wanted the new ones. I don't understand the need to boast when you started playing the game. Sure you equip the emblem for a day until you get a new one. What's the point? People need to let go.
