Should be interesting to witness the in depth changes to the previous build Bungie claimed they performed.
Edit: Shoutout to all the pc players providing feedback. This is probably the most unbiased balanced feedback I've seen since...ever on these forums.

1 답변I have about 500 hours on Destiny 1 xbone. Here's my thoughts on the PC beta. Core i7 4770K / 32GB RAM / GTX1080 / SSD install 60fps @ 1080P with everything maxed except FXAA. Vsync on. I play with a controller. Issues I had: - PVP is.. incredibly boring. I can't identify why but it sleems slow and plodding. Changes to heavy and super haven't made a stitch of difference; still feels like everyone gets both at once. - Classes don't seem balanced, Titan seems to be the new meta. - Guns don't seem balanced, hand cannons and pulse rifles still the meta. - Menu system still very clunky to me. - Load times seem like they could improve - Netcode is still horrendous, do not know why they didn't use Azure/AWS/Google/etc On the plus side: - Wow this game is.. optimized. Already. Runs amazing and looks so good on PC. 30fps never made any sense for this game. I see NO reason to run 4k30 - Amazing sound design - PVE has the potential to be fun but for crying out loud, balance PVP and PVE separately. I got to throw my grenade maybe 4 times on the strike and super twice.

1 답변I played D1 on PS4. I was so disappointed by the repetitive grindy never ending bore that the PVE was. And the PVP was so unbalanced that it only managed to enrage me most of the time. I am playing it on PC now (highest settings, 144fps -albeit an unstable 144fps) and while it is definitely kicking the console version's ass it still feels like the first game to me, but with smoother better graphics. The PVP is much more enjoyable in the beta, the PVE felt the same, hell, the strike Boss is a rehash of the first Raid Boss in D1... The fact that they lack the originality to come up with something fresh in the beta is definitly a red flag for me. I have canceled my order based on this beta, and will await the full release and ensuing feedback and will probably buy it cheap on some key site. I am not paying upwards of €60 for what is no more than a polished version of what D1 should have been upon release.

4 답변Game runs good on PC, as expected. Destiny at 60+fps feels great, but PS4 will still be my main. - Super recharge seems a bit faster - Energy weapons are still a pointless addition for a secondary... They have no utility besides the rare matching color shielded enemy. and the "explosion" is very lacking. It's not a viable replacement for the D1 system - Movement speed hasn't changed, warlock burst glide still sucks and does nothing - Grenade recharge is painfully slow still, and the damage payoff is not worth it, it's not noticeably any stronger than previous beta or even D1... We want to use abilities MORE bungie, not less! Keep it long for PvP is you want, but PvE they almost seem pointless... - Damage vs. enemies has improved a bit, some weapons feel good, others still feel like pee shooters... also.. Snipers as a power weapon should 1 shot headshot (sometimes even 1 shot bodyshot) everything except certain yellow bar enemies, otherwise they're not worth putting in the power slot. - Power ammo has improved a bit, but not enough.

An issue I encountered is with using a controller on the PC verison. The input is way too slow and the deadzones are obnoxiously large (much larger than with the PS4 controller on Destiny 1). There needs to be a complete customization system or at the very least, optional deadzone adjustment and a higher curve for the sensitivity. Titanfall 2, Battlefield 1, and Gears of War 4 on PC all have great systems in place to do exactly this. Yes, keyboard and mouse are vastly superior, but it would still be nice to have this as an option.

The PC Beta is interesting but also quite short. That we are only able to play a small fragment of the game is fine, but I believe that the time should be extended. What do I mean with this? The Beta lasts from a Monday to a Thursday if I am correctly informed. I myself haven't had a lot of time to play, and I think a lot of people would agree. Although it's not much content to play, if the Beta would have been accessible over the weekend (Friday to Sunday) a lot more players might have been actively playing at the same time. I understand that the Network might not be stable, but the beta is here to test such things imo. So the data Bungie might obtain during the beta duration might vary quite a bit from the data they would have gotten over the weekend. I really enjoy the game and what is being featured. I like the graphics, and the story with the ciniematic scenes are interesitng and rewarding, I hope that there will be more throughout the game and not just during the beginning sequence. I am very fond of the wide variety of weapons we can equip and use. They all vary and I believe that every player can find something that suits their playstyle. There is one thing I am very unhappy about, and it is the lack of customer support at Bungie. There is no way for me to actively get in contact with the support team about certain questions I have. While other games or companies use methods from Phonecall, Tickets, E-mail, Chat etc. Bungie offers little contact options through twitter and the Forum where in none you can acutally be sure to have your questions answered.
-
The responses to your thread seem very balanced and fair although there does appear to be some discrepancy between experiences. Nice to see I wonder if the responders are people who are relatively new to D2 and therefore see the game without carrying the baggage of three years of the shenanigans performed by Bungie in D1. Or perhaps not and I am just too entrenched in my distrust lol

2 답변작성자: [SENTAR] 8/28/2017 8:31:00 PMThe Handcannon seems a little too strong in PVE. Some adds are just one shot kill with no headshot like the Psion snipers. Heavy weapon ammo is more consistent this time around and super/grenade recharge in PVE are way better than the Ps4 Beta. I think we should be able to bind multiple keys to one action in the keybindings setting and it would be nice to be able to see the main key overlayed over the ability icon Chat looks to be limited to the fireteam instead of having match wide channels. If that is the case, I'm disappointed that Bungie didn't integrated Blizz's multi-game text chat system. Messages typed in chat don't seem to go away after a certain amount of time. Which is really annoying. I've also experienced some graphical bugs, specifically anti-aliasing: https://streamable.com/ktaz1 https://streamable.com/93c09

My main issue is with the chat. In most games it fades after no new messages refresh it but it stays displayed on the bottom right of the screen the entire time. There is also no global chat that I can find to communicate with the players I am playing with unless they are simply brain dead. I find myself restarting destiny if I end up messaging a friend as soon as I convince him to get on voice coms with me so that my screen is not permanently obscured with: [To]Username: Teamspeak? Username:Sure Anyways hopefully this is updated in the full release.

2 답변My feedback on PC is this: 1- Guns do seem stronger now and grenades are charging faster and doing more damage. 2- Supers are also better, was able to do mine on every Protheon fight (yeah we got killed a couple of times) which was a big step up from the once upon a time on PS4. However given how large the area is and how you can go often without a single enemy I still think we need to ramp up the times, but I'll wait and see since there are said to be mods to help with the Super, I just hope they ain't hidden in a raid or as a ToO reward. 3-Graphically it's such a huge improvement and shows how games are being design for the PS4 Pro and Xbox 1X, this isn't a PS4 game and honestly the fact that I'll be running it on mine is an issue, and this is foreshadowing of how this console era will pan out for those of us who chose to stick to the first models. Lastly some things have been improved, hopefully the full game has other improvements and this wasn't as much as you where willing to do with it because then it still a disappointment, but i'll be ready for next Wednesday to start the third Beta.

I played the console and PC beta both and honestly I couldn't tell the difference in terms of ability recharge rates and damage output. Graphically the PC version is superior, everything was smoother and more defined. As stated, ability charge times and damage didn't seem that different. Grenades in PVE were not really powerful. For example, A single golden gun shot to a cabal still wasn't a 1 hit kill(same in console beta). They had like 2% health left. PVP on PC still felt slow paced, with supers coming at the end of the match. The pvp games were always one sided, my team either cleaned house or we were curb stomped. There wasn't really any "close" games. I felt like I was made out of paper sometimes. Overall, in my opinion, it still feels like this game has a ways to go. So, that's been my experience at least.

1 답변Pros: - The game feels right at home on PC, KB/M controls are definitely the way to play, imo - Performance is great, the game seems very well optimized for PC - TTK in PvP seems to be a bit quicker than in the console beta, which is nice - Ability cooldown for PvP feels good, no complaints here - Movement speed seems to have been bumped up a bit, which I like - Enemies are no longer bullet sponges in PvE Cons: - Ability cooldown is still too slow for PvE - Power ammo drops still don't feel frequent enough for my liking I'd say the game is almost at the point where I would be happy with it. Of course, there's still the fact that armor mods will speed up the cooldown on abilities in the full game, so that may or may not even be an issue for me.

24 답변I hope people who played the beta on console and again on the PC weigh in and make it clear that they've experienced BOTH beta's. That would be the most useful feedback. However, I'd also suspect that the people that did that are either fanboys or masochists, so maybe NOT the best people to take feedback from. Just gotta get a feel for the person who is actually giving the feedback. Make sure it comes from a trusted source.

작성자: Blackwolfe 8/29/2017 7:55:37 PMBorderless windowed seems broken. It does not fill the entire screen so I see the windows taskbar and anything open above the window. (doesn't fill the entire screen even if set at native resolution) Windowed fullscreen is crap, because if you try alt-tabbing the Destiny 2 window will still stay on top. Otherwise I have nothing bad to say, the gameplay is fun and the game runs extremely well.

23 답변작성자: TheShadow-cali 8/29/2017 12:56:21 AMYou do know PC is what they are banking on right? So they are getting a new build and the console is getting that old build. Not much for you to know if you are a console gamer other then, they are getting what you're not.

2 답변작성자: KrankyKustomz 8/29/2017 10:37:21 PMI don't know if this has already been covered, I'm not reading through all the comments. My computer won't play it. I don't know what the issue is. **You need "Settings" on the main menu because now I can't even get into the game to fix what I messed up. It kicks me out for low frame rate.** (I know I won't be the only one to make this mistake) I have Intel i7-7700K Kaby Lake, GEFORCE GTX1080ti, 32GB Ram and it's on a Western Digital 512GB SSD. Also have WD 6TB HD but that doesn't matter. Displayed on a 29" LG Ultrawide 2560 x 1080 Flat Screen gaming monitor. Pretty legit right? So WTF? So I went in thinking I'd be able to max this puppy out, guess I was wrong. Apparently there are bigger fish in the pond and now I can't back down the settings because I can't get back into the game! Tried to re-install, didn't work. Need my account reset or something. From what I was able to witness the game looks great. Handcannon is strong like it should be and I like it. Jumps are different and sound has been dialled down which isn't bad but also makes it a little difficult to hear when "I'm out of gas". Could've used more grenades, seemed like they took forever to recharge. New super abilities will take some getting used to. Only got to use it twice, also seemed to take a while to recharge. Ultimately will need more time with game. Shoutout to all my PS4 players. Make the jump. My first build, fun, crazy, badass and worth every penny, especially in the long run.

Well seems to me that there are improvements over the console in the sound, well everything or it could be that I am able to play 4K@60fps. The best thing for me is I am able to change the FOV so I am not playing in such a cramped space. The scout rife feels good to me and the fact it fires at a continuously even though it is a slow rate of fire the fact I am not pressing the trigger all the times means the accuracy is better as I am not jiggling the my controller so much (using my ps4 controller). The legendary feeling quite skittish not easy to keep on target especially when the target moves, very inconsiderate. The grenade launcher damage seems to be less to what I feel damage from a heavy weapon should do, eg. I used it against the red legion flame thrower yellow job and after 3 or 4 in his face shot it still had a 1/4 of it's health left, swapped to my scout rifle and 3 shot from that and down he went. Started to do the strike but after about 10 mins booted out for server maintenance.

3 답변My subjective, but hopefully neutral thoughts. This is based off of running only 2 strikes and one PVP match. - There is definitely more heavy ammo dropping in the strike. - I've run out of kinetic and energy ammo a couple times at the strike boss. Still takes a while to bring it down with only kinetic and energy weapons. - After playing D1 all weekend, I still find myself trying to throw grenades when they are only half charged. - When taking down enemy shields with the matching elemental energy weapon, the shield "break" looks exactly the same as I remember on PS4 and doesn't seem to deal much damage to surrounding enemies. - Supers feel like they charge faster, but still don't deal as much damage as D1. - Slow-va bomb is still a thing and I hoped it would improve. - Primaries seem to deal more damage on critical hits. Many enemies can now be taken out with a single crit from hand cannons. Overall, it feels like small tweaks have been made but doesn't feel much different from the PS4 beta. The style of play is the same.

3 답변작성자: mohammy 8/29/2017 12:39:31 AMRuns great on my system. GTX 1080, Intel i7-6700k, Acer Predator x34 3440x1440. FOV Slider, unlocked framerate and 21:9 support is all there for me and the rest of the PC community. Awesome job on the PC version. Still have complaints on the ability cooldowns and damage though. My grenades doing about as much damage as a headshot? I had 177 total kills in a strike run, yet 8 of my kills were super kills. 8 OF MY KILLS OUT OF 177 WERE SUPER KILLS. I have a huge problem with that still after all of the console player complaints. Heavy ammo is still way too scarce compared to special and primary ammo, with shotguns and snipers being in heavy now it's just underwhelming and seemingly pointless to be changing up my gameplay every 5 minutes to use the 3 ammo I have in my shotgun, throw a grenade for >2 kills or super for >4 kills. All the abilities, especially grenades and supers, and heavy ammo still needs work in my opinion. Unless this is really the boring primary and special weapon only type of combat they want. The damage on grenades could at least be higher. I couldn't believe it when my grenade only killed 1 basic cabal and damaged 2 others by a third of their health. How pathetic. Also the cooldowns are still way too long for the damage output of the abilities. Bungie needs to find an equilibrium here. Make them worthwhile at this cooldown, or lower the damn cooldown. If they have made "tweaks" it still doesn't feel good. Otherwise it has the expected great gun play Destiny offers, great optimisation and support for PC and I am looking forward to release. Also very disappointed with the delayed PC release. The raid will be experienced and spoiled first by console players. I just wish we all got it at the same time, with a progression-based multiplayer game where the endgame has been re-running 1 SINGLE RAID and to have the grind over on particular platforms before the rest is just ridiculous. I imagine when raid is out on PC pug groups will 99% not allow blind runs because the raid strategy came out a month before. Also kind of stripping the ability for PC players to run it blind, like I said, everyone will know and be talking about the raid anyway. It might be hard to not have it spoiled for players that don't want it spoiled.

1 답변Abilities are still weak as -blam!- and take 10 years to recharge. Get ready for Snorefest Simulator 2017. If the actual game is the same way, then it's gonna piss off every PvE player. We don't want our abilities to be rare. That isn't fun. Abilities are what make the game FUN. Stop ruining the game for the sake of balance.

Feedback so far (borrowed a friends spare beta code). 1. Supers are still painfully slow to get working in the strike and PvE in general. They may be slightly faster but, in all honesty I didn't notice any real difference and suspect that most people think they are noticeably faster because they were told they would be. I still seemed to get my super after killing the same amount of red and yellow bars though the yellow bars may now give slightly more super energy when killed. 2. Weapon damage seemed the same to me, though red bars seemed to die a lot quicker in the Homecoming mission than they did on Xbox. No difference at all in the strike though and the risk runner, which I used in the homecoming mission was back to it's near useless state in the inverted spire strike. Taking ages to kill a clever cabal. 3. Energy weapons are still 100% useless in PvE. I don't say that lightly either. The only use and I mean the only use is taking down a shield and you don't even get the explosion unless you happen to colour match the weapon when you do it. Risk Runner was literally useless for explosions as Vex are void and Cabal are solar. Only Fallen captains were at any risk from it. So unless you are swapping energy weapons throughout the strike. You'll see no benefit from your energy weapon slot at all. 4. Heavy ammo - yep dropped from all yellow bars...exactly like it did in the original console beta. Did not notice any real change there. I just knew what to kill to get heavy I guess. 5. Boss battle - Now this has changed a bit in that it was noticeable that the boss was less of a total bullet sponge so I'm guessing his health has been lowered. Made the end fight a lot less of a grind. 6. Last but, by no means least = 60fps. This made the most difference to the beta in my opinion. The whole experience is just way way smoother. You look and you actually don't feel like you're waiting for the game to decide to obey you. I would happily accept a 900p performance option on Xbox that ran at 60fps at the slight expense of visuals than a 30fps 1080p run. That's it for the comparisons.

17 답변Having played both betas now, this is my early summation of the differences. Console beta was done on the XBone. For PC beta, I have a 3.1GH 8-core, 16GB RAM and a GTX1060. Settings maxxed out, except I changed the MSAA to FXAA to reduce pixelation issues. No idea on framerate: I have no way to check. I've run the Story mission once (Hunter) and the Strike a handful of times. No PvP. The PC beta looks better. It just does. Everything is crisp, smooth and very colorful. Everything the PC Master race claims about graphic quality on PC being superior, is indisputable to me. I've seen both. PC just looks better. Turbine room at the end of the first mission has been reduced from 2 spinning arms to just the 1. Easy-peasy now, not that it was really any problem before. Movement speed still feels slow, though Im not sure that's Bungie's fault. I've been playing a ton of Warframe recently and their parkour system makes moving incredibly fast. Destiny's movement is sluggish in comparison. Still, might be slower than D1. I'll have to fire up my Xbox before the beta's over and do some comparing. Bungie claimed to have adjusted super recharge rates, and they do feel like they charge faster than they used to. I've been able to get off at least 3 Poledancer supers during the strike, though I wasn't spamming it so I might have been able to get more. They're still slower than D1, or at least they feel slower than D1. It also feels like they may have adjusted the damage a bit. The pole seemed to hit harder, but unfortunately Golden Gun still seems weak. Grenade recharge follows the pattern. It feels quicker than the console beta, but still slower than D1. I find myself trying to throw grenades that arent there. Damage seems about the same as console beta. Yellow-bar enemies are still bullet-sponges but they seem to take reasonable damage now. I think they turned down their health, because guns across the board don't feel any more powerful than before. The scout rifle they give you is terrible compared to some of those I've used in D1. It's useful for headshotting Psions: that's about it. Does little appreciable damage otherwise. Submachine guns: don't see anyone using them. They just dont work against Cabal or Vex. Hand Cannons, Sidearms and Assault Rifles: these seem to be the go-to guns for the beta. For heavies...honestly I don't see people using them in the strike. So far in all the random groups I've run with I've been the only one using my heavy. They classify armor now. The starter Hunter armor is classified as "Mobile Hunter armor" which, as it sounds, is aimed and maximizing your mobility, but at the cost of resilience and recovery. The strike's been dropping pieces of 'heavy hunter armor' for me, which is geared toward maxxing Resilience. The skins are different too, so there's that. New slot on the Character equip screen: Auras.
"Visual effects awarded on completion of challenging activities."
Since you apparently shade each piece of armor individually now, the Aura is where the shader slot used to be in D1. Ships now have a slot that affects your spawn animation. Interesting, if functionally pointless. Guns (except exotics), Armor and Ships all have 14 Shader slots. Wow. Imagine the garish color combos people are going to come up with. Heavy ammo drops a more often than Console beta. Not quite as often as some might like, but it encourages you to be judicious in your use of heavy weapons. This of course is because of Bungie's insistence on 2 primaries. Speaking of, I'm getting used to the two primary thing. I don't like it, sure, but I'm working it out. It'll be one of those things that I'm sure everyone will adapt to, but we'll all probably still grumble about the change. I've run out of Kinetic ammo a couple of times on the strike, having failed to swap to my energy weapon often. A couple of kills later and you have it back, but still. Just another quirk to remember and work around. I think they may have altered the second-to-last phase of the strike, when the boss makes the ground pulse with heat, forcing you to jump in order to avoid damage. If I mis-time my jump and land in the heated area, not only do I take damage but I get bounced around as if he stomped. I dont recall that having happened in the console beta. Maybe it did and I was just better at avoiding it. Or maybe he Is stomping and Im just not seeing it because Im focused on the jump and not getting burned. *shrug* Controller plays just like XBox, for anyone who might be curious. I tried to play with keyboard and mouse and just couldn't pull it off: 3 years of playing on XBox developed a muscle memory that is difficult to work around. I'll probably run patrols to learn, but for the beta I'll stick with a controller. That's all for now. More in the coming days, maybe.
