My clans decided not to continue as they've been taken over by family matters so it looks as though D2 will be a single experience..much like most of D1 was.
That's okay. Clans and I just don't fit together well...but..
It seems D2 is very much built on clans and the rewards all clan members get even if they aren't involved in end game activity.
Is this the end for solo players ?.
Thoughts ?.
Edit : Thank you for the kind invitations to join clans. I'm in the UK and 51 so might not be who you had in mind lol. I'm also Autistic so not exactly fond of mics or loud people in my ears!

작성자: Snakedude 8/28/2017 3:34:56 PMI played solo in Destiny 1 pretty much all the time unless I was doing the Raids. Very rarely did I do anything else with other people on my Fireteam. I'm looking to do the same this time around as well for the most part... BUT, this time around, as my brother will now have his own PS4 (we shared one to play Destiny), we will be able to play Destiny 2 from the beginning together so that is an exciting prospect for me and some thing I really wish we had for Destiny 1. But outside of that, most activities will likely be solo for me, and for my brother for that matter Honestly, I think Destiny 2 will still be mostly playable solo. I believe only Crucible will require a full premade team to have a good time playing for the most part and that's mostly in the Competitive playlist IMO.

1 답변I do all strikes and story stuff alone but like having my clan for nightfalls and raids. Though guided gaming is for people like you that want to do end game content that requires a team.

1 답변I played D1 almost exclusively as a loner for a long time I'm determined to find people to play with this time.

3 답변I feel you on this. I'm married with a kid and full time position, so things like Destiny have to be somewhat solo and casual for me. I did the majority of D1 solo, only taking the odd bit of time out to try to find a group for Vault. While I'm glad they have this new LFG system, I can't help but feel that I might be missing out if I don't have some kind of group. Having read the thread here, it's nice not to feel alone.

1 답변I'm in the same boat as you. My buddy and I played D1 throughout most of the game, but missed out on raids on a consistent basis due to issues all of you have experienced. I think between the 2 of us we have 6-8 raid completions. We tried LFG, major disaster, we were part of a clan for awhile but I can't handle the blow-hards and yelling and screaming. Left a bad taste for us both and we just didn't want to go back to that crap. I know a lot of you have had great raid experiences, have awesome clans, but I guess we weren't lucky. I'm still on the lookout for a clan to give it a go again. One thing though, we're both in our late 50's and aren't the best players on the planet. We just want to play and have fun.

4 답변I'll be solo. I'm 48, and don't care. I just want to fly around and shoot shit on my day off.

5 답변작성자: ASK4 8/28/2017 9:10:42 AMI know what you mean. Not a fan of loud shouting and am 54 myself. Enjoy playing the game but never had the chance to do raids because of the need for a mic and not wanting to be the old wierd guy that hangs out in Destiny.

1 답변FYI, I'm definitely down to play with an over 30 crowd. However once again I'm PC only.

I'm 35, and ran solo for most of Destiny, outside of trials when I made a few friends via LFG. Since then, I've switched primarily to PC, and will be playing D2 exclusively on PC. I also expect to be playing mostly solo. Honestly, playing with people you know IRL is generally so much better than the alternative in my experience. That's not always the case, but more times than not. Point being, ask friends IRL. You might find a few that play.

1 답변I played all of d1 solo. Aside from lfg for raids and trials. Had a diff group every week. See how it goes this time around. Hopefully clan members dont get pushed too far ahead just because they are in a clan. Sure rewards for helping but not endgame rewards.

1 답변Definitely playing solo. Don't mind playing with others on strikes or other PVE stuff though. I won't bother playing crucible at all especially you mentioned people with mics. Sometimes people with mics say the oddest junk or play music in the background all the time smh... I never liked clans and being a member in one. I have scars and PTSD about them thanks to H5... All I want is to have my own fun.

1 답변I only play solo until it's time to raid or do nightfalls, etc. When I'm playing solo, I find it much easier to immerse myself in the story and truly enjoy the game. I can't enjoy it as much as I would playing it with 2 other friends.

1 답변I always play new content solo on my main character. Then I join my friends with my other characters.

1 답변Most likely I will because my clan sucks! No one really helps out.... unless the leaders are involved.

1 답변작성자: Neon15 8/27/2017 11:03:49 PMThe first time I ever teamed up with anyone in d1 was the raid. I like to play with other people but unfortunately I usually end up by myself.

2 답변I'm solo as well, those I played with had a clan I refused to join them in. Gonna do the same as I always have, I won't be tempted with rewards either. Though I am curious what you would get for it.

1 답변Besides events that required a team for communication like the Raids, I pretty much ran solo the whole time. Didn't care for clans because of bogus play time requirements and focusing mainly in PvP. This time around I've found a pretty clan for D2 but, I'm sure I'll be running solo 75% of the time still. I just prefer to play what I want when I want.

1 답변I like to go lone wolf but if people need my help I like to help out as much as I can and from there depending how everything goes I either add them or we go our separate ways

1 답변작성자: SmashvilleViking 8/28/2017 6:06:18 AMHey bro... If you need a clan give me a shout. Shadowbane11. PS4. We're all in our 30s, so no kids or yelling. Most of us are Vets.

3 답변I'm mostly a solo player. I work from home (he he) so when I start early and get finished early I'm able to hop on. I do have a buddy I play with but he plays mostly at, luckily he's on the east coast so 6pm my time 9pm his time and we'll play to about 9-10pm my time. So I do get a few hours of play time with him but mostly I'm solo. Everybody I use to play with either fell out of touch or found other players to play with that I don't care for or just stopped playing Destiny. No worries though, being mostly a solo player I have learned to adjust my play style and play more passive when playing myself and not putting myself in bad situation. All hail the solo players!!
