Sidearm noob
I've never really used a sidearm all that much but I was wondering what perks you would look for? I'm assuming range perks are most desirable?
Edit: Thoughts on the vendor antons rule?

7 답변If you're talking about PvP then i really don't think range is all too important. Sidearms are best used by moving in on an enemy fast and agreesive and unloading on him. I would say to focus on stability, target aquisition, and reload speed. I personally use Dreg's promise or The Trespasser. Not really sure about Anton's rule. I think it's pretty much accepted that the Wormwood is the best legendary sidearm. If not the best overall.

1 답변Use something else, Destiny is no longer competitive. (Trials of osiris ended) I still do not understand why people use "Meta" things considering I enjoy just screwing around with other weapon types (But if you need a Sidearm for No land beyond setup it is Ironwreath-d ( reactive reload, zen moment or crowd control, Jaberhaake-d is obtained from a legendary engram it has a CHANCE to drop for ya it has a set god roll)

3 답변To be honest the best perk I think is hcr. But you have to consistently land headshots for in order to be effective. I have a queens choice on my titan with hcr, feeding frenzy and reactive reload. As soon as I get that first headshot in, it's usually over for the other guy since they're no longer able to trade shots with me. I've hit a few triple downs with the first kill proc feeding frenzy which then gives me reactive reload for any easy two kill with a single clip. Not too many people use queens choice due to where you have to go to get it. But it's by far one of the best sidearms that you can get.

Havoc Pigeon and Teacup Tempest are ok, with right perks Best Perks: Hidden Hand or Rangefinder, HCR, Zen Moment Appended mag or Reinforced Barrel can be also be good

Edit: Thoughts on the vendor antons rule?[/quote] Wormwood FWC. Go for Hidden Hand as the signature perk. Rangefinder used to be the choice, but it's only a 2% damage falloff reduction. High caliber rounds, Zen moment, range increasing perks are all good choices in other slots. Dregs Promise is good too. You can probably get one in a few Challenge of Elders runs easily.

1 답변Trespasser .. say no more ! It's exotic, all perks are the same on every gun , you just choose what you like. I previously was shotgun melee . Now it's Trespasser melee or just keep firing that 3rd burst is great . Just don't run out of ammo
