Here's the thing i noticed with me preferring Xbox over PS and why i don't care for the delays.
With Xbox I'm generally playing those exclusives longer than i am playing a PS exclusive. I feel there's more value to be had with Xbone games and more to get out of them.
With playstation they release great one and done games. After i play through once I'm very likely not playing through again.
That's perfectlt fine, but if i had to choose spending $60 on a game with only a superb singleplayer to a game with a good/great singleplayer that also has a bunch of great multiplayer options (whether that's co op or competitive), then I'll always go with the latter.
That's just me though. I always like when games come as a "complete package" and i actually wanna play everything in said package.

I feel the same way about PS exclusives. It's just a preference man. Always has been and always will be. There's no "this console has better exclusives". There's only console with games that appeal to you more than then others. PS has, however, had more variety of exclusives to cast a wonder net with to get ahold of gamers. Xbo has a more narrow range compared to PS. Now what games from those two publishers appeal to a gamer will vary from person to person.

If that were true, wed have alan wake 3 or 4 by now and fable 4 (a true fable not that spin off shit) :/ Or do you only count halo (5), forza(7) and gears(4)? All the new ip they did try (ryse, quantum break, sunset) they seemed to let die and fade into obscurity in favor of playing it safe and stale. And even then both halo5 and gears4 were a let down compared to their predecessors. I am glad, and a bit surprised, they kept ori around for a sequel though.

Uncharted, God of War, GT, Killzone. The last of us is now getting a sequel. I suppose you could add LBP in there too. The difference is Sony seem to allow thier first party studios to sway away from series games to create something different. Hence why ND gave us The Last of Us, Guerilla gave us Horizon Zero Dawn, MM gave us Tearaway and now Dreams etc...
