I live in New Zealand. Why all the salt?
Im not trying for a world first or anything like that. I just want to play the game. In the end that's all it is. Just be glad the servers won't crash due to the influx of people all trying to get on at once.

The issue I see the most is being childish and upset that others are going to play first, and then there is the children going "neener neener we get to play before you!" Its just childish behavior.. Im fine with the rolling release, just want to play with out the servers crashing. Which might still happen.. but hopefully not as bad as RoI.

Im guessing the raid will drop at reset or 10am pst at a later date, so the raid will likely be available at one time, for all, not staggered. The staggered start wont amount to much. 95% of players will need a raid carry the first week it drops any way, no matter where they live. People who want to day 1 raid at drop will be good to go.

I can see why some people have a problem with it. It could put some people legitimately going for worlds first and stuff like that at a disadvantage. That's not really a lot of people in the scheme of things though, so I guess that sucks for them.
