9 답변Even if the story is good, the story isn't what gives the game its replay value. D1 didn't have a great story, but it was one of the most replayable games out there, especially in Y1, and to a FAR lesser extent in Y2/Y3. Not that I wouldn't be thankful for an improved story - we've been begging for it since Y1 - if the core game play has changed such that we no longer have the loot-based incentives to keep grinding content, this game will fizzle out really quickly. It'll boil down to a 5-10 hour campaign and PVP, which is the formula most FPS games use. The only thing is that Destiny was never a pure FPS. As for confidence its going to be good? This is post-Halo Bungie we are talking about. I haven't had much confidence in them since TTK launched. I'd rather take a wait-and-see approach.

If anyone happens to have the storyline info for the 2 D1 expansions we didn't get; I'd guess that's the storyline, but mangled to coincide with the trash they made up at RoI. Looks like they used more time and money integrating the D2 "fresh start" storyline into the original. Can't think of anything offhand bungo has ever said that was true, lol. O, except " working as intended"

It doesn't matter what you or bungie say, it dosn't matter how many things bungie change, improve, add, or make better in D2, people will still trash this game. Some people want to save the world, others want to watch it burn. Regardless .... D2 for game of the year!!!!

1 답변I don't give 2 craps about story lines. I want guns, maps, strikes, and raids. You can go run through story all day long if you want.

1 답변작성자: Bigjit539 8/15/2017 3:48:24 PMI haven't seen this leaked information, but what gives you confidence in it? I mean personally I'm not the type of person to get super interested in every single aspect of the story, but there are people who are/do. Based on some of the posts here, it seems some of the fans knew more about what was going on in Destiny than the so called creators. All I've seen so far is they've gone so far as to say they don't really know what the darkness is, and I'm like "huh?" Maybe they'll figure it out at the end of the franchise?

The problem with D2 is they're trying to fix D1 in D2. (It should have been fixed IN Destiny 1) Instead of making a new game. Good sequels build and learn from the original. Bad sequels wollow in the original. So far D2 follows the latter

13 답변Taken King already showed that Destiny can tell a story. It still is my favourite DLC because the dark nature of the Hive in combination with the Books of Sorrow (if you actually read it) makes up for a nice story. And it also shows that Bungie can make interesting characters. I mean, most people love Cayde-6 because he is funny and sarcastic from time to time. In Vanilla he was just another NPC selling legendary gear. Now he is more. But it depends on what people actually expect under "story". D1 never really had a main story plot IMO. It was just a guideline with mindless killing of species the Speaker declared as "hostile". Truth is, every species had its own motivation and reasons why and not all of them were "Minions of the Darkness" (Fallen). We landed on every available planet/moon D1 had to offer and killed first but asked questions later. D2, just like the Taken King, has a villain with a crystal clear motivation giving us, the players, a clear goal for the game. It's something we look forward too because we know already who our target is, but we don't know how it will end. The Vanguard is seperated and it looks like the game gets more personal with each of the vanguard leaders. In D1 it was literally "wtf is going on here, where am I, who in gods name are you guys and why are we killing these things again?".
