Like this post if you have confidence in Destiny 2’s story.
After the leaked information about the story, and everything else included, I can happily express that I do have confidence in Destiny 2’s story. Like this if you do too

I'm quietly optimistic but am avoiding hype. I enjoyed homecoming very much. Whether the story is truly deep and engaging or just mildly interesting remains to be seen. Personally, I think going into it without expectation is the best way to enjoy it for what it is.

Lore in Destiny was actually very gripping, in a STARK contrast to it's storyline that got shafted big time. I remember reading every new Grimoire card with excitement in the beginning of Destiny. Vex mythos is interesting, Hive mythos has been almost fully developed in TTK, everything concerning Rasputin is baws (especially considering that I am from Russia, it softens my heart seeing that technical background of Russian people is still being considered to be top notch, even if it's just in a lore of a video game). However, I am concerned that they chose the most uninteresting enemy to focus on. I hope that Cabal won't waste their spotlight. As of the story, I am not especially excited. Always thought that even Halo story was overrated. It will probably be as vague as the rest of the Destiny 1 story was.

1 답변Reasonably skeptical. I know this studio is more then capable of delivering a substantial story. Heck some of the team who made Halo may still be there so they can attest to that. Its just Bungie burned us badly with Destiny. Even though the gameplay, art direction and sound was great, the rest of it including the "story" had no heart into it. The leaks sounds promising, but the content and how all this will play out when it launches still leaves me feeling pretty cautious - not getting my hopes up.

Well, considering that the majority of people who still like Destiny/Bungie that are on this forum... This is a pretty safe question to ask. Not that I dislike Destiny/Bungie, but they leave much to be desired and I absolutely disagree with many of their business decisions. Yes, I purchased D2 already after much thought. I finally decided that I enjoyed the friends that I have made while playing D1, which makes it worth taking the chance to me. This will be the last chance that I give Bungie though. And... I have to add my usual comment urging them to fire Luke Smith. In any other job the guy would be gone. He's a story teller, not a programmer and thus far, the story has been nonexistent and putting him in charge of the content is a slap in the face. IMO.

7 답변What's hilarious is that if bungie saw this they'd mostly see negative comments and opinions about what's in store for us in Destiny 2. It's the 418 (so far) silent likes that actually matter in regards to the post. What's even more hilarious? There's probably been upwards of a hundred dislikes and the likes still outweigh them. 38 답변No offense, but I down voted. 3 YEARS of D1 with NO story, no idea what "the darkness" was supposed to be. Oh wait, it wasn't anything, but made up nonsense trying to knit together the broken pieces they had left from the original story post Joe Stanton. I still think the ship is being steered along the same course as D1 because they won't have to think. They got away with it for 3 years, why change? -still host based MM It's 2017 for crying out loud.

All I'm gunna say is that bungo didn't even know what the darkness is and don't forget Them also saying that the strangers story was opened, arced, and closed perfectly. If they think the strangers story played out perfectly I don't even know what to say honestly
