If he really wanted to see actual player feedback, not D1 grenade players expressing their feelings, Bungie would have to make an ingame poll. Then, only those who had the game could say how much they liked or disliked it.
From what I hear on the forums, all of the whiners think that they are in fact the majority, even though they are only looking at a mere third of the picture. Half of the people who I've met who enjoy the game don't even know the forums exist!
With this I think we would get a real sense of player wide satisfactory
It would also have to release a week in so that forum crybabies couldn't just load and auto dislike, then return the game to Gamestopor whatever their retailer was/is
.
Moderator edit: This thread has been moved to #Feedback forum so that other Destiny players can weigh in. See Cozmo's thread here for more information about the #Feedback tag and its uses.
Feel free to private message the moderator who moved your post, link to topic for further clarification about why this topic was moved.
2 답변Most people when a game comes out say it's great. Everybody loved division that first week. Bc it's new and exciting and has potential. It isn't until you see the potential squandered over and over that you give a more accurate review. As far as your spoiler setting it up specifically that the people who dislike will get less votes in the poll. Doesn't that kinda go against the purpose of the poll to begin with?

3 답변Why does anyone care about Cozmo and Deej? Deej is nothing but a public mouth piece. He's like Xur, only less cool, less interesting, and less influential. His will is not his own. Cozmo is less like a middle manager and more like a "manager on duty"... His role is limited to reporting what's going on, and being the noise hole that parrots executive decisions when the people he reports to shrug in indifference. The forum servers could be literally melting down from negative comments day one. The game could be doa with millions of people demanding their money back and their entire server bank could be dead empty after the first 24 hours. The company could be meer seconds from going bankrupt. And theres not a gods damned thing Cozmo and Deej (hence forth to be known as Wanda) could do about it. All they could do is watch the place burn down around them.. So who gives a flying kluck what they're doing day one. By the way. The "whiners" are the majority. Get use to that reality and live with it. It is written that on the seventh day God rested. Less reported is that on the Eight Day, God sat up, looked around, said "huh, something just isn't quite right... I know, I shall create a species who's entire purpose in existence is to find fault with their surroundings and bitch about it, I shall use them to beta test creation.." And so humanity was born. If you are entirely wholly satisfied with this game... Congratulations on being the "chosen one". Because. No. People who are unhappy with the game are not the minority. The problem is that most of the people who get angry just quit the game, causing Bunghole and Suckitvision to lose money..... Huh. Come to think of it. Anything that causes AAA developers to lose money is okay by me, so sure, let people just quit the game in silence rather then give feedback.

6 답변It doesn't matter to me whether Cozmo is going to pay attention to the feedback. With as much attention as they have paid to our feedback, Cozmo would be better off just taking a vacation. Separate PVE from PVP? We've asked for that DAILY for 3 years. Optional opt-in matchmaking for all content? Again, we asked for it, but we got guided games, a system that is foreseeably problematic because the number of sherpas are outnumbered by the numbers of those who want to get in on raids. Ability to edit existing guardians? People have wanted this since at least TTK. Return of elemental primaries? We wanted them to return in the PRIMARY slot. We didn't want to be stuck with ONE elemental and ONE non-elemental primary. Nobody outside of those who play competitive PVP are asking for abilities to be "more rare." Yet this is the direction they're going in in D2. Seriously? Bungie DOES NOT listen on major issues. Sure, they'll implement a gimmicky emote - if you ask nicely. But on anything that actually matters, they're going to substitute their judgment for our own.

2 답변Who cares if he monitors the feedback? Not like he can do anything about it other than what he has done the last few years. Copy and paste "I'll pass this along to the developers". I'm sure he is a swell guy but someone with absolutely no power other than posting videos of the week will not make Bungie or Destiny any better. And unless we see actual video proof that our feedback is taken to the developers, why would we care if someone was "monitoring the feedback"? Our feedback didn't really mean shit the last 3yrs. They do their own stupid shit to troll us. They've destroyed basically every weapon in Destiny. Completely shit on PvE weapon power to make the crucibabies happy. Lazy ass excuses as to why they won't separate PvE and PvP. These geniuses at Bungie admitted they didn't even know what the hell the "Darkness" was the last 3yrs. What kind of studio goes a full 3yrs and has absolutely no clue what their game is about? They made complete asses out of all of us. But hey, monitor all you want. I ,myself can't wait to read it either.

작성자: GrundleBeans 8/18/2017 7:33:06 AMYou do know they can tell who actually has the game and has played it, right? Profiles hidden from us aren't hidden from them. They know what to take with a grain of salt too. They also don't monitor ONLY this forum for feedback. They monitor it in every official place: here, reddit, twitter, facebook, instagram, etc. Even if they ask for direct feedback within the game, not that many people will actually use it unless it's forced on them and they'd still get a bunch of shit troll responses and claims that "the majority" this and that. The truth is, you never need 100% of your active audience for feedback, just a good chunk of it that actively talks and then to cross reference their feedback with analytics. The ones that don't talk tend to roll with whatever or their feelings are being expressed by others.

3 답변The only "monitoring" they ever do in that regard is cherry-picking a handful of good reviews out of hundreds of negative ones, and then offering that as proof that their way is superior.

1 답변Everquest 2 did in-game polls/surveys alot. It helped improve the QoL, and various aspects of the game. Helped loads. I believe results & the plan of action were posted on the forums too.

1 답변It's still crucial for us to see how many Bungie still pissed off with their decisions.

8 답변More people have quit the game unhappy, than currently play it. I still play and don't love all of it. Many things could be better in both d1 and d2. People should be allowed to voice their opinions, whether for or against. Homers and negative trolls, are both the same in my eyes. Neither help the game improve.

1 답변Look, I'm a day 1 payer and I have stuck it out supporting the game thru purchasing all the content upon release as well as Eververse for 3 consoles. I for one would like to know Bungies intent for the future before I commit any more dollars. Are we going to continue the hamster wheel/carrot approach? Are we going to continue level progression as a means of content locking, rendering paid for content useless to those who religiously purchase said new content? Are they going to change the economy with every expansion again? None of these are popular, why some players leave and why I may not continue. The last thing I want is to get to the first expansion and find out everything I just earned is useless yet again. These are my biggest gripes to date. The game is too small to be stuck only playing the expansion content and we all know the expansions in this game have been about 30% of the original in playable content per dlc.

The only problem I foresee is this would be a short-term task. Bungie needs to be constantly monitoring the forums and gameplay stats through the longevity of the game, not just when the game releases or shortly after. On the Bnet forums side, Bungie needs more people dedicated to monitoring, responding, and analyzing feedback themes to communicate back to the various development teams. No offense to Cozmo, but we don't really see evidence of this process in these forums. These vague "I'll pass this along to the devs" responses don't cut it if the feedback on these forums are to be meaningful. Aside the Help forums, everything else seems to be a one-man show with Cozmo. Bungie needs to invest in community/customer relations and that means full support of these forums. With 700+ employees, I don't see how or why this is a problem to begin with.

Polls in game would be way more useful for Bungie that polls are on the forum, but they'd take a lot more work. Poll data is only as useful as the design of poll questions can make it. Players generally make shitty biased polls that slant the questions (intentionally or not) toward their personal preferences, mostly because getting close to an objective truth is less important to players than getting close to an emotionally satisfying poll result. They could take a page from the Assassins Creed franchise, and let people rate (vote on) activities at completion, but it's not very granular. "Did you like Homecoming?" Isn't going to tell them much about what people liked or didn't like.

Saying they are a 3rd is giving the whiners waaaaay too much credit. They are an almost insignificantly small part of the overall community. They only seem larger because Bungie gave them a platform to complain on and tells them they listen to their extremely constructive "feedback". Bungie does well by listening to Reddit more, that's all I'm saying.
