Quotes are coming from the "Toxic, salty or just hateful people in the community". This is my prediction on how the Cold Heart situation will go.
"The beta sucked, im canceling my oreorder."
Or
"I'm going to wait for the game to release and see the reviews before I buy."
*Bungle introduces a pre order bonus*
"I'm still not going to pre order and get a garbage game."
*Game releases and it turns out to be better than most people expected*
*People who didn't pre order flock to buy the game, thus they don't get the Cold Heart right away*
*Non-Pre Order players enter the crucible and get killed by the Cold Heart*
"WTF BUNGIE, UNFAIR. IM OFFENDED I DONT HAVE THAT GUN, WHOEVER HAD IT SHOULD BE PUNISHED BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE IT!"
*Nerf posts on the forum get created*
*Cold Heart gets nerfed, releases later for everyone or people finally start getting it as a drop*
"This gun sucks, it barely does any damage, why make a useless gun Bungie? This is why I hate Destiny *rant continues*"

4 답변I really don't understand why you wouldn't preorder a game that you're going to play. Especially when there are many incentives.

6 답변작성자: C4Cold 7/27/2017 2:35:03 PMYou pointed out the very issue with pre-orders and in case of destiny the offering of an exotic weapon. Currently as it stands D2 by most inclinations will not be that good given what we've been shown, told and experienced. So why should players be punished for being weary of a game that doesn't give them the confidence they desire in spending their hard earned cash for? Many want this game to succeed, but Bungie has continually dropped the ball on nearly every aspect of the game. Don't get me wrong it has its allure and satisfying aspects, but this game could be so much more and that is what players are upset about. Why spend money now via pre-order on an uncertain player experience and be punished for it if the game ends up being better then what a number of us have been led to believe. The fact they are just now announcing an exotic as a pre-order means they are worried about their sales for D2. Its a little obvious this was a push to lure players into buying their game. Now, I can see this playing out 1 of 4 ways. 1. it's an exclusive pre-order which means if you don't pre-order the game you're shit out of luck and if the exotic is one of the best you can bet your ass there will be pvp and raid issues. 2. The exotic is given to pre-orders, but can also be found as a drop in the game (this is the most logical decision). 3. it's a timed exclusive meaning it wont become available to others until a certain time-period. This again creates the same issue that point 1 will. Lastly 4, The exotic is advertised as this awesome weapon to incite players to pre-order and purchase the game only for them to find out that it's the worst exotic in the game and is easily replaced with other exotics and even legendaries.

The complaints will be from all the people that pre ordered and didn't realise that they're getting early access to an otherwise time locked quest. So many will expect to find it waiting at the postmaster or in their inventory.

lol your prediction may not be too far off. I still think Bungie would have created the disaster if it happened by putting something unique and unobtainable elsewhere (til December, right?) in a bundle akin to a micro transaction. Purchasing loot, whatever your overall take on them, it's safer and smarter to not put anything in them that affects gameplay (Overall I think it's a shameless money grab most of the time, since few companies actually take the money from them in order to fund creating new content). Limit it to things that are cosmetic. The Iron Gjallarhorn reskin and then the sparrow were safe. No one could use something that performed differently than what was available to others who purchased the game, but didn't invest in the "extras." But this is run of the mill with Bungie. I don't think there's anyone I've seen who can create or implement something that can be simultaneously great and bad, enjoyable and frustrating, structuring and chaotic in the same maneuver: - *special ammo balance* > put on sidearm and change weapon - *special ammo balance again* > "Here's a crisp Y3 Icebreaker, guys!" - Bung - *attempt to control Titan Skating with initial vertical boost* > Turn agility to 0, Armor to max, and Recovery the rest ... *Bullet trains skating by with best stats* lol - *Attempt to give us more primary gun action that we asked for in PvP with new weapon loadout* > *Nerf guns and TTK and movement speed, put guard rails up to "teach" people how to do crucible* > *Ability simulated the game gone ... Teamshot simulated the game here* (Hopefully this will change post beta - *Give an exotic to those who preorder to convince more people to preorder or convince people to not cancel their preorder after lackluster beta* > *Give gameplay affecting content to some of population, but not rest for 3 monts* > *Force cries of "unfair" > *Nerf an exotic so it's not pointless* and on and on it goes. Why do I have to love Destiny so much ... *cry*

bonus exclusive coldheart gun requires an exotic quest to get it just like the iron Gjallarhorn that came with the rise of iron because you don't get exotics with pre-orders straight up without an catch collect blue prints , gather materials , do an ultra hard mode missions and strikes , slay enemy combatants in the crucible to feed the weapons hunger and cleanse your self by consuming motes of light and get said weapon shell to the gunsmith to forge it all this slog fest for an pre-order exclusive exotic in stead of giving us it straight up Just lazy practice . A. Considering the decline in "exotic" weapons over the past couple years. I sincerely doubt this will be a good gun. Even if it is, it'll get nerfed. B. Since it's a pre-order "bonus" exotic, I sincerely doubt this will be a good gun. C. I find it quite amusing that this news came out at the end of the beta and the flurry of "the beta sucked, I'm canceling my pre-order" made it's way around the forums.

2 답변I preordered when the preorders became available and stuck with it because i liked what i have seen so far. Too bad about that shop exclusive ghost though 😢

3 답변For D1 you got that vanguard armory garbage which I was still able to get a week or 2 after release (when I started playing) I don't remember anything else up to RoI which was the iron gwing and ghorn. The card with the ghorn code had an expiration date for sometime this year (much after a preorder release) and you can buy the gwing in game. So really... I highly doubt this will be locked as a strictly pre order bonus. A month plus after release you'll most likely still get it when you buy the game. On top of RNGesus in game.
just my 2 cents
1 답변cold heart is simply a marketing strategy, make as many people preorder asap so by the time the game comes out you wont think about it twice b4 spending even more money on microtransactions

13 답변작성자: Kemosabe508 7/27/2017 2:51:26 PMIt's a heavy weapon. They don't get enough ammo to get killed by the cold heart in the crucible anyway. ~ Making America Great Again ~ Edit: Energy Weapon*

15 답변작성자: Kill 7/27/2017 1:03:25 AMIsn't it a power weapon? I mean, by the time the exclusivity ends you might have enough ammo to use it two or three times so I'm not too fussed over it.
