I feel like the radar takes too long to come back on screen after scoping in. It needs to show quicker for sure
All the people saying we shouldn't even have radar : do you even multiplayer??? You understand that ANY game with no radar will have other clues like being able to hear footsteps and breathing etc. Destiny does not have this! Stop trying to act good if you have no idea why radar is there to begin with, and what it would take to actually play without it...

2 답변Having always on radar greatly lowers the skill gap, and should be removed from competitive game modes. It's what Halo did with MLG game types. This makes you rely on reaction time and map knowledge while outsmarting your opponents. I don't know how many videos I've watched of players in Destiny pre-fire at corners because they know someone is coming around due to radar. It's almost like giving wall cheats to everyone in the game. When you take a look at every other successful competitive shooter, there is no radar.

1 답변If you have a problem with radar, it's because you always lose to radar. That is all. Stay sweaty.

I liked the radar delay personally. It gave it more of a feel that when you were not ADS'ing you could check your radar quickly, but when you chose to ADS you lost that visibility for a moment prior/during/after. This creates more tension for corner camping (which is a good thing imo). When I say corner camping, i'm referring to watching a corner you think an enemy is coming around - not sitting in a corner itself. I also believe there will be a mod and/or exotics that have third-eye perk. This will further the customization options and create new risk/reward scenarios for weapon/armor loadouts. I.E. you'll have to NOT use something else to gain the benefit of third-eye. Just my 2cents.

2 답변I think the radar needs some tweaking still.. I found it hard to read, especially when trying to tell if someone was above or below me. The fade needs to be more clear, as well as be more clear as to how many people are in the area, especially in a game that may be replying more on team fire.

4 답변Not a fan really not with how the game works. If the game was more consistent with spawns and communicated better with sounds it wouldn't be a problem.

1 답변Honestly it should be completed removed for competitive mode and in social it should get disrupted for a few seconds if you get shot in the head. I never liked always on radar, hence why halo pvp never interested me. In CoD I at least could use perks to hide from uav spam. I ain't saying it's unskillful, but it greatly lowers the skill gap. I am not a great player, but I can easily abuse the radar and perform or toss a nade at a corner knowing someone is there. Map awareness doesn't help much when a quick glance towards the radar let's me know if anyone's nearby. In CoD I would often out something on the corner of my screen to block the radar, since my peripheral vision could see it clearly. I use a 27" gaming monitor so that isn't impressive lol. Well whatever, people will downvote me. My opinion isn't a popular one, but it is what I believe. Try blocking your radar in destiny and watch your reaction time and aim drastically improve. You'll be surprised on just how much a crutch it really is.

12 답변I learned really quick to adapt to it. If you cannot thats on you I kind of like it, prevents so much hardscoping, promotes more quickscoping.
