PS4 is a more casual experience than Xbox for fps games.
Before everyone gets triggered this is not a hate post just a simple observation by me which may differ from player to player.
I own both consoles and have logged 1000s of hours between the 2. On Xbox I play r6, Halo 2, and a little bit of destiny. On PS4 I played the shit out of year on 1 and year 2 on destiny before giving away this psn to a friend. Also I played CoD bo3.
Just comparing the players I have matched in destiny I could easily tell that the average Xbox player has more gunskill then the average PS4 player. Now of course on both consoles you will have godtier players and the the trash cans. But I feel that the status quo for Xbox skill is higher than PS4.
The most obvious reason for this is because PS promotes ( or used to) single player story based games that btw are fantastic like Last of Us, Uncharted, and horizon zero dawn. Now it seems that PS4 is promoting more fps games so in a few years I wonder the status quo for skill on the PS4 will rise. Since the beginning of Xbox Microsoft has pushed fps titles therefore most players on Xbox are more well versed in fps titles.
Again I'm not saying Xbox is better than PS4 because each systems and communities have pros and cons. Please have civil discussions with one another if you chose to reply.

2 답변I play on both and from what I've seen folks don't seem "as" competitive on the PlayStation community. This is not a measurement of prowess but more of a reflection of a more laid back community. On Xbox it definitely feels a little too intense and personal to the folks playing.

23 답변I played Destiny on both and saw no difference in skill level, you guys need to stop kidding yourselves. In fact, my k/d is slightly higher on XB1. I'm no pvp god, but I'm not trash either, just stop trying to sell people on this idiotic idea that one console is more competitive than the other.

Well, it sounds one heck of a lot like you played Destiny far more on the PS4 than the Xbox. I'm not sure it's a fair comparison since you cleared practiced more and spent more time on PS4 while playing Destiny. The more you practice, the easier it gets. Also the more games you can get into with potentially worse opponents. If I were to write a post like this on my experience, I'd say the opposite. Every person I know that plays/has played Xbox, is terrible as Fps games. However, I do know I have a small sample size with some important missing types of people.

It's because the PlayStation is a casual console, and I don't actually care if anyone gets offended by that. IT IS! Not saying the XBONE is some elitist console, but definitely hardcore competitive gamers tend to go with Xbox for better online service and controller. Sony just promotes to much casual stuff for hardcore competitive people to play on

6 답변Its true to a certain extent, you will find the majority of low skilled players on the PS (i can vouch for that) so it IS good for the casual players. But on the flip side if your a core gamer, you take your competition VERY seriously.. well your better off on PC, nah jks, you'll find alot of them on PS aswell and imo its much easier to find a team. Problem with Xbox is it has no realy skilled realy complex MP games. PC does, PS does, Xbox nope, just generic console fps crap, mayb that's why you'll find more "skilled" players in the lobbys because they don't have better games to go to.

Cod, BattleField, Battle front. Etc Also take into consideration that their was probably a lot of Xbox players who jumped ship. Look at the sales of Xbox over PS4. I think people who want an less then casual experience can get that on PS4. I mean the majority of the guys who stream that at least follow have all three consoles and rotate between them. And I have watched thrash players on all 3 play as well as great players on all three
