Not going to lie I was excited for the beta today. Then I downloaded and played it. Felt like more of the same from the original. I do understand beta is not the finished product. However if I am going to spend my money on a brand new shiny Destiny I would like to be able to see some of these new features and not just play 1 of 2 PVP maps and a Strike mission. At least with the original Destiny Beta I got the opportunity to learn about my character, learn about the abilities and to grow some with the character. This beta basically told me, "You know the drill...have at it." Very hard to get into a game that gives you more of the same and none of the new. Shouldn't we be testing out the new stuff to make sure it works properly and get use to it?

4 답변Honestly I'd rather have the beta this way, how narked off was I when I realised I'd played 25% of the game as a beta with D1 personally I've enjoyed the wonderment of what mods for armour, guns etc will be and how they'll effect game play and will some armour have more mod slots than others. I'm happy with what I've played and the possibility of a solid story with solid antagonist, do I want more? Yes, do I want more from a stress test beta? Not really but hey that's just me

This is a TEST, not a preview. Bungie had to do more significant testing when vanilla Destiny was released. How would the servers and game react during patrol, with multiple story missions running, how would pvp react with a considerable population playing simultaneously. Therefore more game was tested in the original beta. We are now in beta 2 and the need to test many aspects is not required and therefore less game requires testing. Pvp is the one area which requires the most data and is therefore the focus of the test. Not sure why everyone seems to expect a full preview but as a test playing can help the team get more data to improve gameplay. That is simply what this beta is, a test to receive data to improve gameplay. So rather than whine about no content, play and help get the data the developers need to improve the game.

They don't want our feedback and that because if they did, they would have made this game so watered down. Swapping characters abilities? My Titan felt like he was trying to be a hunt in his super Lmao. It was freaking stupid...

1 답변Destiny was fun. I'm glad the sequel feels like the first.... Like I don't understand why you would want something completely different

I just played the intro mission and couldn't get into it, the enemies are just too bullet spongey and the game play is just slow and drawn out. It's like they decided to just make it take longer to kill things instead of making the game longer

From what I have seen and played. It's basically a copy and paste game with slight touch ups to graphics, weapon damage and skill reduction. How I know this you ask? The infinite supers are present in the exact same way from the first game. Boarding a pike on the strike

작성자: RingersCheckmate 7/22/2017 7:04:20 PMYou didn't learn about your character in D1's beta lol, you just played through empty story missions and explored a third of the games content before it came out. That beta is what helped ruin the launch of D1. And I think your expectations for a sequel are skewed here. Halo 1 to halo 2? You could duel wield weapons. borderlands 1 to borderlands 2 still had the same class structure, soldier, siren, sniper, and rusher along with the same gameplay. And these sequels were received very well even though their gameplay is similar to their original. Destiny's gameplay isn't what needed to change. It's the lack of story and awful progression system of Y1 of destiny that did.

3 답변Beyond disappointing, its unplayable for me. I get permanently stuck in loading areas, audio is out completely or at least two minutes delayed, abilities and dialogue isnt working, and guns are swapping at delayed intervals. Ive redownloaded and reset my xbox multiple times but cant get through the first mission loading screen when you go to the courtyard. No matter how fast or slow i approach it the game does the same thing. GG bungie you sure do know how to wow and impress!
Yes i know its a beta but making it unplayable is sad for a multi-million AAA title, i would expect that from an alpha but not a beta especially after the first Destiny Beta.
2 답변Personally, I love the beta. They did a good job not changing the gameplay at all, because I feel like that's one of the reasons people stayed with Destiny 1. The new weapon types are okay, I guess. Not too interesting, plus most of them are trash for PvP. But overall, I've been having lots of fun in crucible and re-doing the strike with a friend is more of a, "why not?" than a, "ugh. Again?"

4 답변I played the opening mission and got bored pretty quick, I think I've just lost interest in Destiny as a whole so I won't be bothering with any more of the "beta" and certainly won't be buying D2.
