From reading TWAB it seems like most of my initial PvE concerns have already been addressed, that being the ammo dropping and grenade effectiveness. I also think we've got too small a weapon pool in the beta to get a valid idea of what the actual game will really feel like..it could be a case that the guns and gear we are using now literally collect dust in the full release. We have no idea what mods and perks will appear on weapons and gear, some may well speed up the super regen, so no idea what we will end up with there, it does feel slower than it should right now though, so that is a very valid concern. I don't think shorter PvP match times help either. I think that my concerns with 4v4 will actually fade away too, at the moment, with it being so new, I am assuming my skills are reset, so theres a chance that I am coming up against players I usually wouldn't. That chance is probably raised by the fact the hardcore are those that would have been more likely to pre order. It simply might be above my level at the moment. I guess overall, its just too small to form a valid opinion on anything. Even the weekly update says this build is months old, so who knows, were in the dark really. There are obviously things that need adjusting (super cooldowns), I guess we will have to wait until september. Overall though, this apparently old build is certainly a good start.

2 답변I agree, 100%! I played more then 3.000 hours in D1, I played the D2-Beta and was shocked. It feels so.....WRONG! I really hate the 2 primary slots and the lack of super and grenade charge. Pre-ordered the collectors edition but I am not sure if its still worth it any-more. PVE, strikes and raids are the most important stuff to me and they ruined it completely for f***ing PVP-balance. This is soooo wrong!!! Please fix this bungo! :-/

1 답변I couldn't agree more. As an almost exclusive PVE player I do feel that Bungie is striving for something that will never happen in this type of IP... "Competitive" PVP. I understand that some folks want to show that they are better than others at a video game and there are games for that (i.e. Overwatch) Destiny is not and never will be a competitive PVP environment. There are too may variables that exist in the different classes and amount of weapons that a Guardian can obtain. That being said, I never bought Destiny (the original) the PVP, I wanted a new PVE experience that other FPS games sorely lack. Another point I would like to bring to light, after playing the Beta for three days now, is the obvious gravitation of plays to the pulse rifles and auto rifles in the crucible. Just something i noticed in the five or so matches I played. Furthermore, Arcstrider is the most useless subclass in the crucible and Gunslinger is not much better. My suggestion to make hunter supers a little more viable in the crucible would be 1) Arcstrider - a better way to close the "gap" or bump up protection stat while in Arc Staff. 2) Gunslinger - The "shortened" time for Golden Gun should be normal until the first shot is made, or bump up the time and lower the shot count to 4 or something. Just some thoughts. To me the other class/subclass supers felt fine to me in PVE and PVP. Last point I have is the TTK in PVE. I run out of ammo constantly in the strike, especially during the boss, because if any enemy dies next to an ammo pick-up it is launched across the map and lost forever. Maybe look at the explosion animation or effects that enemies produced after being killed to not affect ammo box physics, just a thought...

One thing that seems to have been completely overlooked by Bungie is the fact that in D1 yes we had the ideal build for a scenario but that ideal build was different depending on what you were doing, PvE builds were almost always different to PVP builds. to lock everything into 2 tree and believe it will be fit for purpose across both PVE and PVP was in my honest opinion a mistake. Eg D1 king fall, at the end two titans running weapon and blessing of light PVP would you run Weapons or blessing of light, perhaps but in most cases you waited with a shotgun and the other one? 3 different times I changed up my super based load out across a single type (defender) in D1.

I have had a different experience. I like PVE being difficult. I agree that the cool downs are too slow, but I think PVE will be fine once power ammo drop rate is fixed and we have a full arsenal of armor and weapons. Keep playing would be my suggestion. Go off to the right on the strike and fight the fallen/cabal/vex. Try different weapons... Practice new movement/evading. It's too early to form a solid opinion. I usually play an equal amount of PVE and pvp and right now I feel like I'm going to be enjoying PVE way more!!! Pvp is not fun right now. Hit detection seems to be RNG. Lag is "hidden" much like cod you don't actually see the guy lagging, but certain guys don't take damage and sometimes it feels like you get dropped really fast. Feels totally inconsistent from match to match. Plus it is all about team fire.... If you encounter more than one enemy you lose no ifs ands or buts, you lose plain and simple. It just doesn't feel too fun to me.

1 답변I think the same. The new ability (circle) is nice and the gunplay it's always wonderfull. Unfortunately i think that Bungie's priority is the PVP and it's stability. Less weapon less diversity and less fun I don't care about the colors and all the decorative stuff. I'm talking about the possibility to create a guardian with the ability that we need to overcome a serious PVE. I fear that Bungie is creating a game like COD, Battlefield and Overwatch. It may be a wonderful game but its i game that i don't like. It's sad because my sensation it's that Destiny it's losing it's identity and i've loved destiny so much.

작성자: Hanyma 7/21/2017 11:59:15 AMAs main pve and year one player with +3000h inverted in D1 I'm really disapointed with the path Bungie take for D2. When I see the gameplay at E3 all my hopes were destroyed, I mean, simplified skill tree with the same skill perks; unpowered guardians; 2 primaries and 1 "power" (HA!) weapon loadout; same or very similar stupid weapon perks; ...and many more. And after play the BETA I can confirm what I thought, plus many more T_T. Playing the first mission is acceptable but you know, it's a mission and after you finish it with all your characters you never play again posibly, except for that daily where Bungie force us to repeat content constantly because you know how Bungie like that. About the strike I think is really really easy, and that with ours underpowered guardians!, and the final boss mechanik is plain and simple, just bullet sponge. I don't care about pvp at all, new loadout maybe is acceptable but surely because the minimun weapon diversity at this moment. But the slow 4v4 force us to play in a competitive enviroment is a slap in the face for most of us. IMO this BETA is really bored and only show how Bungie focus mainly in competitive pvp. Well, we don't see the "open" world and lost sectors, both features where I primary focus, but at this time I think it's really hard they can change my opinion about D2. Pretty sure this time I'm out and waiting for Anthem, Borderlands 3 or any other. Lot of things should be changed to make me look back.

1 답변작성자: Doom Dylan 7/21/2017 10:23:04 AMThis is what the Beta Design Lead said in this weeks TWAB: Rob: Aside from testing our processes and services, the Beta is also an opportunity for us to collect feedback and data to help us close out the final tuning for the game. We’re watching and playing with you. Thank you for sharing your experiences and helping make the launch version of Destiny 2 that much better. The PVE game tuning has changed pretty significantly since the Beta build was deployed. The nature of a Beta of this scale requires that it’s based off a build of the game that is now months old. So, in many cases, your feedback is helping us validate changes that were previously made based on internal feedback and playtesting. For example, we too felt that ammo (especially power ammo) was too scarce in PvE. In addition to retuning the drop rates, we built a system that guarantees power ammo drops for you and your Fireteam from certain enemies, giving power weapons a more reliable and predictable role in your arsenal. Other areas where we’ve made significant tuning changes include grenade effectiveness in PvE, Boss vitality, and weapon damage against non-player combatants.
-
Yeah I feel you, but they said in this is not what it will be like in the full game. Abilities will charge a bit faster and power ammo will have guaranteed drops from certain enemies. Idk why they didn't put that in the beta, but we just gotta wait.

작성자: PROCK7 7/21/2017 6:24:32 AMLet's be honest. Bungie could not or would not separate pve and pvp in year one through three. However they could adjust bonus damage to pve enemies such as the increase in supers and the 25% buff to shotguns in pve only. So it seems that they could separate them. Here we are in destiny 2 beta and again we PERCEIVE a trend of pvp by sacrificing pve. Looking at the graphics (models and backgrounds), gameplay (guns and movement), and responsiveness (movement and feedback): one could argue this is the SAME engine with the SAME coding as D1. If that's the case then this is not a completely "new" game if by new one means based on a new engine. So it's the same engine and code so that means familiarity and ease in making this "new" game but the same drawbacks and limitations. One of this is that they CANT separate PVE/PVP because it's too much work or they can't figure it out. Or a bit of column A and a bit of column B. So it won't be separated in destiny 2 which includes small expansions like Osiris and large ones like TTK/ROI. That means three years of this format. If there is a destiny 3 with a NEW engine then there is a chance they will separate them. So best to accept this right now. Let me clarify the definition of "accept." It doesn't mean you approve or like this format. What it does mean is that you no longer feel negative emotions about the format. As of now a LOT of players feel resentment. This is a specific emotion that ONLY occurs when someone doesn't meet YOUR expectations regardless of whether or not the person(s) knew them. Resentment only hurts you and not the person you resent. Think of it this way: resentment is drinking poison and waiting for Bungie to die. It doesn't help you. I hope they do separate pvp and pve. I think a slightly faster recharge of abilities and supers would make the game more fun and fun to me is space magic. I do like the gunplay but come on. 20% more space magic would be nice. We won't know for sure until release. However I expect it won't change. Those saying it's a beta, the game won't change much in SIX WEEKS!!!

2 답변I've played Destiny since the beginning. Played the original Beta years ago, then played since vanilla. I had 3 profiles; all of which had 3 characters at 335 by the end of year two. I've placed about 5000 hours into Destiny; it became my life and my passion. I'd run streams on raids and trials, Iron Banner and just patrols. Everything about this game was what I loved, playing solo or with friends. Living through a story (which we all know was scrapped and rewritten, which kinda killed it.) But we still loved Destiny and all it stood for. Nothing was more fun that entering a raid for the first time. Spending countless hours exploring and learning the mechanics. The feeling of finally defeating a boss after staying up all night; stressed to the point of no return. But that sigh of pure satisfaction. Destiny 2 has already shown that they will have a beautiful game. With physics and mechanics that the original Destiny just never had. But that doesn't mean it's going to be as good (although i still think it'll be better). But it doesn't mean that these players that have thousands of hours like me; will be able to stick to it after the constant slaps to the face. This game became fully about PvP part way through TTK. The vocal minority cried for nerfs and buffs. Re balances and change. The reason it looked like these problems were uncontested were because us PvE guys and gals...we weren't in the forums, we were happy playing our lovely game. We were happy with the things that we had. If Bungie really cares about their game, and their fans...this will have to come to an end. It's hard to hear from my clan mates that they are disappointed in this game we love. A game that during Dark below; I brought so many of them in. Before refer a friend, before you got rewards for it; I brought them in to be a part of my passion. And my clan of nearly 3 years is unsure if they'll even buy D2. There are problems that need fixing, desperately. Or this is just going to fall apart. Now, these problems; what are they? Number one: We all know (as it is being heavily discussed), is the pace of the game. It feels slow, supers and abilities regenerate at a painful rate. In the strike, lasting about 20 minutes, with an average of 120 or so kills each; yet we still only get about 3 supers in the whole strike. I like the idea of having to choose a smart and useful time to activate a super...but not to the point where you don't even want to use it in fear of not getting it again at all. This problem is also major in crucible (and I already don't enjoy crucible) But it's too long. Most matches ended with no supers activated at all. Why even have them? Isn't the entire point of being a guardian to have these powers that make us powerful? To stand out and bring the light and strength to those that don't have the ability to defend themselves? This should be a priority to fix. Number two: The way that weapons are now set up seems silly. I do love having the choice of two primary weapons, but not at the expense of special weapons. In other games you select a perk allowing you to choose a second primary. And that's great for those that want to have that selection. Sure it might be fun to have two auto rifles while playing in patrols and adventures. But not in a strike or a raid. And what about those that don't want this? We aren't being given options on our subclasses and our weapon loadouts. The game feels like one big restriction. Play our way or don't play. No creative ideas or experimenting. Which was what made Destiny fun; exploring your new abilities and trying new things. The biggest problem with this however; is actually that the ammo drop rates really feel like...well, they aren't even there. I get maybe 10 sniper shots from start to finish on a strike. MAYBE. Sometimes I never see a single purple brick at all. This makes it super fantastic when you do finally see it...but really frustrated me for the rest of the game. I would hold on to those 5-10 bullets until the boss. Then blast all of them in 10 seconds. Back to zero... If this is the weapon setup that Bungie is planning on sticking to, they really need to increase the drops. I literally spend as much time with no ammo for any guns as I do with having it. And then of course, I also have no supers to fail safe with either... Number three: I have to say it (only because I've been a warlock main since the last Destiny beta) But what the Hell was Bungie thinking??? I've played all 3 classes, time and time again. They completely destroyed the warlock supers, (the base abilities are actually really cool.) But the supers are absolutely pointless. -Voidwalker, (Which has been my main for 2 years now) Is the Subclass that I don't even think about using now. On top of the massively slow charge rate for supers; Nova takes about 10 seconds of air time to maybe, possibly, partially, hit the target; assuming it hasn't moved about 15 feet away in that time. Nothing hurts more than wasting a super..right? Until you miss a super in D2; because you just literally wasted the last 7 minutes of building it up. It is powerful yes. But not efficient. For the first time I think I actually would be ok if Bungie nerfed it's damage and tracking, slightly; and replaced it with some speed. -DawnBlade is better. I love the abilities that the solar class has, but again; the super is garbage. I can barely throw 6 blades, sometimes not killing more than 4 red named enemies. And crucible does't give me any kills because the splash damage of hitting it between someones feet does nothing. To top that all off, it's slow as all hell, has massive drop (giving it about the same range as storm callers melee), and does next to no damage. Can't even kill the Gold named Centurion that arrives on the first drill with all hits accounted for. This brings me to point four: Following the lack of warlock superpowers. How did it seem fair to kill those supers dead to death; yet make the titan striker a roaming super. To make the Defender (Sentinel) A roaming super with offensive, defensive, and speed abilities. To make the hunters arcstrider able to jump and smash (basically making it a roaming striker, plus fast moving and slashing super.) I just don't see the "Balance" In supers that they keep saying that they're trying for. If they had made the warlock's DawnBlade a handheld flame sword, that could be swung both on the ground and in the air, that would have been far better. It needs a major buff. And quite honestly it needs a rewrite. I'm already salty about losing my self rez, the only reason i ever played sunsinger. I thought it was an amazing part of D1,but now I am afraid of losing my love for the Warlock I've had since day one. (But don't get me wrong..I actually love all of the other supers in the game, and is in no way an attack at them. Just the warlock.) So Bungie, honestly. Scrolling through the forums here; I am seeing the same comments over and over again. The same problems I've mentioned, as well as others. We are still very excited for this game. And I am stoked for what you have to offer in the full game. But I am also worried about what you will do with all this information. Is our input really beneficial? Does our opinion matter enough to make these changes in Destiny 2? Is this game going to fall apart because of the crucible? Just like the last game did? Or are you going to make this game a true PvE experience like we were first told 4 years ago? I am in no way trying to sound aggressive or disrespectful to you or your devs. But I really feel like for the last year we haven't been as important as we once were. I dreamt of working in that office, being a part of D2's development. Since the day the first game released I wanted to be a part of making the Destiny universe. I've dedicated a lot of my life to this world (too much honestly) Because I have fallen in love with it. So let us truly be a part of making this game great.

13 답변I've tried to take the time to go through as many different points of view as a I can prior to posting so that I could understand where people are coming from. Remember, it's not only your point of view that matters and being a stubborn asshole that refuses to understand how others sees things, does very little to help anyone. With that said, I am no stranger to PVP and am currently in the top 2% for time played in the crucible along with kills and a slew of other crap that doesn't really matter. I don't state this to lead you to believe that my experience or view is better than yours, I merely bring this up to show that I have put the time in to have a somewhat "educated" opinion on the matter. PVP at it's core in Destiny is an unbalanced/tilted shit show and that's how (IMO) it should be. That's not meant to mean that we should have broken weapons/ glitches that make game play unfair, simply meaning that the dynamics of Destiny lend itself to a PVP experience that is impossible to balance by nature due to the many abilities and weapons that are available in game. You cannot simultaneously become legend in PVE AND have a balanced PVP experience. While it's commendable to want to have that experience, it just doesn't work unless you balance each of them separately which I believe would probably just be more headache then it's worth for the developers while making things "feel" inconsistent across the game modes. PVP in the Destiny 2 beta right now FEELS balanced but at the exact same time, it's very lackluster and doesn't stand out in my mind as something I care for right now because in order to balance it they had to remove some of the things that make Destiny what it is, which isn't acceptable to me personally. I'm not saying I want to turn things into what they were before with one shot sticky grenades or being able to spam shoulder charge, but I do believe we should feel more powerful and a skilled guardian SHOULD be able to make the difference. In the time I played yesterday, it was boring with all the team shooting and players retreating. Supers are disappointing in PVP now IMO because what's the point in them if I can't have it until the match is almost over? More than 70% of my matches I didn't even get my super because we hit the point limit or mercied the enemy team. PVE: while I understand the argument that PVE isn't hard (which I don't think I've run into anyone who has said that), that doesn't mean that we should be stripped of our supers and abilities so that we can't run badass builds or have fun. I really hate the new weapon system and power weapons are woefully under-powered right now. I do have faith that many of these issues with PVE will be addressed after the beta, but it still speaks to the inherent problem which is that PVP and PVE cannot be equal, and that there are huge implications by trying to force a PVP balance on the PVE world. Destiny/D2 is currently in a very awkward spot much like that odd teenager in high school who's trying to figure out where they fit in. It's going to keep trying to change itself to fit some other genre or to fit in with the cool kids. All the people that truly know what it is at it's core are going to feel like they are left behind as it tries to fit in and will move on. I'm not saying the game will die, because it won't, but I do foresee a large drop in the player base happening if they do nothing to appease the PVE players. I for one have only bought the base game so far and refuse to buy the season pass/DLCs until I see what they decide to do with it after launch, I'd suggest that anyone else who is skeptical should do the same.

2 답변It's simple. Make the cool downs different for PvE vs PvP. Not sure why this is even am issue. Simple fix.

I won't call you out for being a whiner because you're making a legitimate complaint. What you say is very true: PvE has literally been retro-fitted into PvP. I don't understand Bungie's obsession with keeping our Guardians EXACTLY the same in two radically different environments, serving two radically different power fantasies. In PvE, you SHOULD be overpowered, and at the same time the bosses should be more than just simple bullet sponges.
I like my supers and abilities in pve. I like being able to run different builds and using different subclass perks for different things. I like actually having to think about what I'm running. All this has been sacrificed just so pvp can be balanced. I'm not complaining about pvp because it does feel good. My problem is that my abilities take an infinity to charge and my super even with 20+ kills takes forever to charge. Pve isn't fun right now because of pvp balance ruining my fun in there. Another problem is that there is little to no diversity. All the subclasses are the same and no different builds to run because all the perks are unlocked at once. This was done just so that it can be simplified for pvp but does make pve a living hell. You may have a different opinion and please express your opinions below. Edit: This is a beta and the point of the beta is to give feedback and voice your opinions. If you are going down there just to call others crybabies just stop. If you start complaining about others complaining than please just don't bother. People are voicing their opinions and his is hoping bungie will see that in its current state pve may be okay but really isn't fun. Another thing I'd like to add on is that the weapon system was designed so that pvp could be more simple and it feels terrible in pve. The two primaries feel the same and I only get power ammmo once or twice in the strike. P.S Lenny
I agree. I feel limited in pve. My granades are a joke when I get them. My super takes way to long. And my power weapons should be in a vault for as often as ammo drops. I didn't use snipers that often in D1, but they really feel like a joke in D2. I did like the new mechanics of enemy movement. It makes you move or shoot on the fly. My biggest disappointment is the time it takes for super and granades.

Do you know what the boss encounter from inverted spire reminded me of? Starting No Mans Sky on the first planet with an unupgraded tool mining iridium. Just repetitive nonsense. Same with pretty much every yellow barred enemy. There's nothing challenging or fun about emptying clip after clip into one enemy.
