4 답변100 this. And what I am more concerned about,is that Bungie haven't addressed the biggest concerns the community has about the game. It now to me feels like their main aim is pvp and getting it as an esport, and the pve will suffer from this. When people remove their rose tinted destiny glasses, they'll realise the beta is a poor representation of the game, if this is how the game will be. Some of the decisions taken, the way they've cobbled the story together just screams 'rushed'. Th cabal just rock up and attack. Why didn't we get support from the reef? The guardians on the dreadnought, why didn't they warn the city? As it stands, I REALLY want to like d2 from what I've seen so far, however, the hype and excitement for the game just isn't there. I think I'll be waiting until it's been out for a bit and check out some impartial reviews, rather than IGNs paid reviews.

8 답변Nah, pve is probably going to be the only good thing about Destiny 2, pvp doesn't even feel like a bungie game it's horrible compared to Destiny 1

22 답변From the latest TWAB Bungie are upping ammo drops, lowering boss health, increasing grenade effectiveness in PvE and making weapons do more damage against AI. All great but they do not address the elephant in the room, weak supers and melees which take forever to recharge and which are the way they are due to PvP. They also fail to realise, or at least acknowledge, the sheer hypocrisy of saying that they want PvP and PvE to feel the same and then increasing grenade effectiveness in PvE and increasing weapon strength against AI. These two activities should have been separated in the first place and then all of this community uproar would not be happening

1 답변Just no fun sadly, using only primary on a boss was an eye opening experience! Hopefully once full game drops I can eat my words but for now I'm worried 😓
-
1 답변Been saying it for a while, double primary is for PvP. Honestly having to reconsider my pre order. Which sucks because I love Destiny, but only for PvE.
-
They need to bring back the special slot for PVE, if your weapon in slot 2 is the wrong arch type you have two week primary's and a weak ass sniper. This game now sucks after 1000s of hours on D1 I'm cancelling my preorder to see if anything changes before I buy

Agree 100%. Pve isn't fun any more. The customizable aspect of classes and gear went away and it's turned into a call of duty like game. Bungie, most players don't play destiny for pvp. They play for pve with some occasional pvp. Pvp players need to stop their whining and ruining destiny pve for everyone else. You want a pvp game go back to call of duty.

Well, the good news for all this is in the weekly update. Seems as though they have buffed weapons, increased damage from grenades, adjusted ammo, and lowered boss hp. No mention of supers being faster.... but it was probably adjusted also.
-
Sounds like the ammo concerns and enemy health are going to be addressed. Remains to be seen how this actually plays out. I like the 2 primaries option as long as they don't end up packing the punch of a glorified nerf gun. I imagine that mods are going to have something to say about how powerful they perform. Separating PvP and PvE as to weapon balancing and supers recharge rate would probably make a lot of players happy, while keeping PvP competitive and making PvE more fun.

1 답변I kept an open mind with the two primaries thing, but as I've played more, the more I dislike it. I think they had nothing to gain in pve for doing this and have no doubt this was geared towards PvP. All I hope is that they have hundreds of new weapons to chase as there is no excitement in have a weapon drop a second, third, and fourth time if they are exactly the same! What were they thinking? Now we are stuck with 2 primaries and a power. Take out the elementary side out of it, you are now down to 2 weapon choices. I'm glad I only bought the base game without the expansions as I do want to play it on release but right now my feeling is even if they haven't given us the full taste of what's to come options wise, I feel they have already taken away the good parts of the game and can't see it holding my interest for more than a few weeks.

Looking at the response to this it's loud and clear what the community wants. Bungie has, and continues to, ignore it and push for better PvP balance. When companies ignore the consumer they fail. So enjoy the money you've made from the hype and dedicated player preorders. Long term you're going to be looking for new jobs. This game is lackluster and doesn't shine against the other options out there. And the other options aren't going to charge us $100 and then have the nerve to try to squeeze our pockets dry with microtransactions.

I couldn't agree more, other than the bullshit changes hey have made, the game for the most part, still feels the same. Which is fine I guess, but why in the -blam!- can't I bring my other gear into this game? I mean for -blam!-s sake, we as guardians, have spent COUNTLESS HOURS grinding to get the gear we wanted. Now it's useless? That's just a slap in the face, imo! The new titan subclass is shit, the shotguns are more OP than they've ever been. Supers take too long to charge. Oh god, don't even get me started on shoulder charge, that is COMPLETELY USELESS NOW! I don't like how they changed fist of havoc. As a loyal titan player, I am thoroughly disappointed in the way they did the titan. Also, I don't agree with how they did the weapons. Not a fan of the power weapons. It also seems as if they lowered the ammo drop rate. Because, I cannot keep power weapons loaded....i ran out of ammo way to quick. I don't care about PvP. But some of these changes they have made make me like PvP even less. All in all, I will probably be cancelling my pre-order

From reading TWAB it seems like most of my initial PvE concerns have already been addressed, that being the ammo dropping and grenade effectiveness. I also think we've got too small a weapon pool in the beta to get a valid idea of what the actual game will really feel like..it could be a case that the guns and gear we are using now literally collect dust in the full release. We have no idea what mods and perks will appear on weapons and gear, some may well speed up the super regen, so no idea what we will end up with there, it does feel slower than it should right now though, so that is a very valid concern. I don't think shorter PvP match times help either. I think that my concerns with 4v4 will actually fade away too, at the moment, with it being so new, I am assuming my skills are reset, so theres a chance that I am coming up against players I usually wouldn't. That chance is probably raised by the fact the hardcore are those that would have been more likely to pre order. It simply might be above my level at the moment. I guess overall, its just too small to form a valid opinion on anything. Even the weekly update says this build is months old, so who knows, were in the dark really. There are obviously things that need adjusting (super cooldowns), I guess we will have to wait until september. Overall though, this apparently old build is certainly a good start.
